Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs
In my opinion, this is one of the best VR games I have ever played. It takes the classic formula of throwing birds at pigs, scales it up into a 3D environment and nails everything it has to.
I have played practically all of the Angry Birds games from when they initially came out, nearly an entire decade ago, and so when I saw this, I immediately had to give it a go. I was sceptical, since the original games were 2D and adding an additional dimension would, naturally, cause problems. However, this is actually one of the best parts of the game. The level design accommodates the additional 3D element by allowing most levels to have the option of taking your shots at different, predetermined locations/angles. I find this feature really well done because it continues the element of puzzles in the mobile games where it is about finding the right wood plank to destroy and analysing the structures from different viewpoints, looking for the weak-points is both engaging and satisfying when you get it right.

Hired Ops
Decent FPS Shooter!
I can’t recommend this game to anyone for a million reasons!!
Another missed project by Absolutsoft!!
From the beginning of the development the game was supposed to be P2P, and many times the developers as well as their community manager promised that the game would never be F2P, however it turned out to be the biggest lie of Absolutsoft company and their team!
It went further in the development of the game where it took the company and developers more than two years to create four different classes of operators aka the characters in the game that the players would play with!!!

So to preface.. I just logged over hour 100 of Hired Ops, additionally i’m currently sitting at Rank 68 on the world leader boards. This isn’t me flexing the e-peen about my stats but rather to add validation for my forthcoming scathing of some persistent issues with game.
Firstly, you’ll notice that i DO recommend this game, highly in-fact. I consider Hired Ops a true reawakening to the glory days of fast paced tactical shooters ( circa MW2, MW3 ). The mashup Counter-Strike/MOBA perk and currency system is a surprisingly unique and enjoyable mechanic to progress through matches, constantly tipping the balance in either teams favor while rewarding good gun play for the individual. The customization system has a pace that makes you feel validated ( although slightly grindy ) it keeps you coming back searching for rare attachments and weapons. The gameplay is fluid, kills feel rewarding, weapons have good feedback, and the maps are fleshed out with competition in mind..

This game is not “good.” It has an extremely high learning curve, no tutorial, a clunky interface, poorly laid out and unintuitive quest objectives, sub-par writing, semi-frequent crashes, and is heavily dependent on the community “Combined Mod” to smooth out its rough edges.
That said, it is the best pure Pirate RPG available. But that probably says more about the gaping hole that exists in the market and less about this game itself. Aside from the brief but very welcome tangent that the Assassin’s Creed franchise took with Black Flag we have not seen a good single player pirate RPG in a long time; probably since Sid Meier’s Pirates. So if you need your pirate fix and are willing to take the time to learn this game, then you will be satisfied. But I can’t help but wonder why we haven’t seen a better Pirate game made.
