Collapse: A Political Simulator
The game is getting ridiculously hard with the new updates and the game balance is very poor (there are no proper tutorials on a game with such complex mechanism). Old bugs are unresolved and there are now lots of new bugs (such as the automatic override of your old save when you start a new one unless you exit the game and restart it from Steam, which would wipe out the save that you spent 10+ hours to play). Also, the game made no mentions about the conditions of the new crisis event ‘Mining Strike’ and my approval rating suddenly slides into the bottom after that event. Not to mention that the game was already very hard before these new updates, it is just unplayable after all these new updates that made the game mechanism even harder and more complicated. Bugs like ‘Russian requirement’ event freezing and Prime Ministerial maximum operability is only 75 made this game even worse. This game wasn’t ready to be released and need a total overhaul and rework

The game is brutally hard I have spent over 90 hours trying to understand the game mechanics. even in sandbox mode the game is hard and since the last few updates the game in my opinion isn’t worth it at this moment. maybe in the next update i will reconsider. Also the game needs to have better english translation it is very hard to understand what you are doing in the game.

Fit For a King
Fit For a King is a relatively short game but is definitely an enjoyable experience. The whole game is centred around the summit that you will be throwing and your main goal is to outspend your rival.
Like the trailer says, you can pretty much do anything, from executing a foreign ambassador to marrying a literal piece of sh- ahem refuse.
At times it can seem a bit aimless and it can be hard to find the clues to get things you need but otherwise is quite fun and definitely worth a play.

The game has a weak and slow start, don’t let this dissuade you. The controls are dated and supposed to feel like a mid to late 80’s crpg, but are way more straight forward and easy to understand then those ever were back then without 200 page manuals. Once you can get a good grasp of the controls the game opens up and the gameplay starts. For the most part it’s a puzzle game with some loot hunting in it. The humor is pretty good and the mix of both serious and silly just strikes that perfect balance. It’s only really down fall and biggest selling point is that it’s short and sweet and complete. It left me wanting more, which is rare for most game these days. It made me want to give ultima another shot or some other Crpgs. I guess some minor things that made me sad was that while there was a ton of lines for the NPCs I wish there was more , and by extension more tasks or quests. (Spoiler) Another minor thing was that it’s never explained in game that some walls can be walked through as a sort of secret entrance.

Amborettio
Amborettio is an interesting game with a unique story behind it. I was impressed with the details in the backstory and I enjoyed collecting materials to build the required tools for the game. For the price, I would recommend this game to everybody who is interested. The solo developer has completed impressive work with this game at a fair price. I look forward to seeing the future games that this developer publishes.

Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader
It’s a good game. It’s not great because… because the ending part of the game had to be rushed (studio ran out of funds) and it’s felt. Where Barcelona and surrounding area is lush with story with great amount of choices and consequences, somewhere after the middle the game becomes very linear with no consequences of any action you perform – or already have, minor or major. You can still influence the ending but it all feels so… well, cut, be it Good or Evil. Healthy imagination allows rich foresight into what it could’ve been and, and… Ah, the bitterness of bliss. The game is so close to awesome.

This game is a bit of a mixed bag. The beginning in Barcelona is a lot of fun, visually appealing (despite aging poorly), decent voice acting and overall fun. There are issues in the start area, mainly talk your way out or fight it out. Many skills are totally irrelevant and the import/export mechanic allows for some rather interesting builds. After finishing France, the studio was running out of money and it shows, the voice acting almost totally disappears and the quests just become a slog through dungeons packed with monsters. It turns from a fun and reasonably light Diabloesqe RPG into a brutal slog that is a major pain in the A** to complete. If it was not for the easily abused import/export mechanic I would have never finished the game. BTW fix the texture bug on Windows 10 devices it’s frustrating to see, also so form of multiplayer servers would be greatly appreciated.

BORIS THE ROCKET 🚀
A kinda hectic run-around-but-think game, nicely themed around quasi-Soviet missile intercept site. Be prepared to value every second of your time. Missions are around seven minutes each, so this is also a “just another bite” thing. I picture this in the evening, a mission or two every now and then. Then again, I love the setting too : )

This game is sort of Papers, Please.
During game you need to shoot down all incoming rockets. But task is not easy. You must properly configure every AA missile while trying to get enough resources to produce new missiles, or for upgrades. You alone in that base so must run on foot to every point of interest.
Actually I like games like Paper, please, so this game is my type of games, and I recommend it to buy. Its cheap enough.

Pendula Swing - The Complete Journey
Pendula Swing is a very beautiful game, and I really loved the way that it combined fantasy with the roaring 20s and how it delved into everything from sexuality and gender with datable male and female characters to disability issues and even class and race issues.
I think my overall problem with the game, though, is that it does so very shallowly. It touches on and represents all of these different and important topics, yet never really goes in-depth related to any of them. Additionally, character and relationship development also feels a bit more shallow as well, based on pick and choose sets of dialogue options that make said development feel more rigid and rote than organic. There are immersion elements and story development areas that could be stronger.

I was looking forward to this game and I really tried to like it, but I just can’t, in good conscience, give it a good review. The concept is great, but sadly, was poorly executed in this game.
Everything the dev tried to achieve with this game is just so half-a$$ed, to put it simply. It mixes American 1920s culture with a fantasy setting, but it doesn’t actually fully capture 1920s culture. It captured the essence and aesthetics of it that people like about it, but in reality, that’s such a small portion of what the 1920s were like.

The Niflhel Day
“The Niflhel Day” is a visual novel in which you will have a night walk through the forest. It would seem that what can go wrong? Unless, of course, you are going on a journey on a summer northern night, when the border between the real world and navya, the world of the dead, is as thin as ever. Who can you believe when it seems that you are lost and you will never get out of the forest of your own doubts? But even more importantly – is it worth believing yourself in this situation? Take a closer look at your feet, decide who your friends are, make a choice and, perhaps, you will see the dawn.
In this fascinating and mysterious adventure, you are waiting for:
-
seven different endings
-
atmospheric illustrations that immerse you in the heart of the night misty forest
-
interactive elements – this is a novel that you need not only to read!
-
the plot is based on Slavic folk folklore
-
… and a cat!
Invictus: In the Shadow of Olympus
Well, seems there is no review yet, I Bought this game for this is my first game on PC, I’d say the graphics still the same when I was a child well it is not remastered.
The story begins where you can choose two heroes and as you progress you can then again, select another heroes, it is up to four heroes you can use, when your hero dies you can never revive them. Also, you can have some foot soldiers.
Oh the story is about gods, where Poseidon wants to kill Athena’s hero.
The price is cheap I think, good if you really like strategy game. Working on Win10 64bit intelcorei7 NVIDIA

This game is a mix of RPG and RTS based on Greek Mythology, it’s not an easy game but it is great fun if you learn it’s mechanic. This game is much deeper than avarage RTS:
-
Every level is like part of the ancient world with it’s people living in it, but you don’t have to be hero, you can kill everyone instead helping them.
-
Every unit in the game has name, health and expirience. And nobody want to die for nothing. So it’s up to you - whether you kill or save them.

Ostalgie: The Berlin Wall
It’s hard to really describe what makes this game so much fun.
Is it the ability to save the Warsaw Pact? Maybe, but that’s not quite it.
Is it the possibility of reforming the Eastern Bloc? Hm, perhaps…oh, no, got it!
It’s the ability to do both those things, while building an excessive number of TV towers and imagining that you’re broadcasting the amazing in-game soundtrack to every citizen of Europe, constantly, at 100 decibels, forever.
Seriously though, this is one of the best ‘small’ games I’ve played in a while now. It’s fairly short, spanning three ingame years, and although you can go longer, not much really happens after 1992, but what happens in those years is enthralling.

Reminds me of the old-school Paradox Interactive games. You want tooltips? Clear explanations of what is what? Too bad. Stare at a statistics screen for a while, you’ll figure it out.
There is a neat game here, but good luck surviving for even a year. It is very hard.
edit: Okay, I have played enough I can write a little more.
Did you play Crisis in the Kremlin? It was about leading the USSR through the time of political turmoil and reform when there were many factors that would eventually bring the country to its collapse into many autonomous states. In the game you had a lot of freedom to pursue your goal. You could become a liberal reformer, play as a hardline-communist or somewhere in-between with many other variations. However, you were the main actor. You could decide how you would play. The only real condition of the game was “don’t let the USSR collapse outright.”
