Zakumba: Astraia
In a volcanic city oppressed by a distant empire, an ailing child prodigy struggles to make her way in the world after her family is shattered by the loss of her mother. Astraia is a mechanical genius in a city of exploited mages and manufacturers. Her father, Kofi, is a brilliant man broken by the military/industrial machine for which he’s been forced to work. Together, they try to scrap together a life in the slums as the city’s tensions mount around them. Astraia wants liberation and the thrill of adventure. Kofi just wants his daughter to keep her head down and stay out of trouble. But Astraia’s resolve can’t be tempered, and she quickly finds herself mired in an all-too-adult world of political turmoil, organized crime, and frightening magical technology. An adventure awaits Astraia as she comes to terms with the hardness and truth of an encompassing real world.
Discoverer
Discoverer is a game of exploration and discovery. The player must locate new lands, classify the unknown, build and defend a settlement, collect and manage resources, create objects, manipulate alchemy and minerals, master teleportation, improve the +50 available skills, avoid diseases, procure a food stock, use stealth, learn new attacks to use with the Energy Sphere, navigate the seas, draw maps and survive in a hostile environment; while searching for the Land of Energy and attempts to save the destiny of his world.
Drova - Teaser
This game has a lot of potential! The story shines though - it isn’t (at this stage at least) too complex. I very much enjoyed the action RPG style. Moving through the darkness was one of the best mechanics, along with the medicinal plant harvesting (and too much medicinal plant = toxic).
The two things I thought were potential issues were: 1. More than once, a location is described in terms that aren’t helpful. I just had to look in the general vicinity, but if it describes a location further away, this could be bad). 2. It seemed difficult to run and change weapons - possiblky part of that was due to the “ready weapon” graphics are barely different from the “weapon away” graphics. This is super simple to change, so I’m not all that concerned about this.

Free-to-try, and fun. :) I’ll give the teaser a 6/10 nostalgia rating for following in Gothic’s footsteps.
Overall, the interface is polished; the combat, while a bit fiddly, isn’t quite as clunky as Gothic 1’s. :) The ether mechanic is a bit odd, as is the resource you gain for hitting enemies while not getting hit.
The setting in the teaser is not so immediately captivating as Gothic’s, but the monster progression does have some of the Gothic feel.
Curious to see where this goes. :)

Razenroth 2
I enjoyed Razenroth and this game escaped my wish list. Already I am seeing more improvements to the original along with content and story that hearken back to my many hours into the first one. Keep it up Enitvare you have a fan in me.

-Gameplay was really fun and wasn’t confusing to figure out what was happening
-Randomness and replayability of the game. I can very easily see myself putting a ton of hours into this game.

Something Strange in the Woods
Something Strange in the Woods is a Unity asset flip from serial scam artists, INFINITE BRIDGE. In this case I’m not 100% sure which asset/game template they’ve ripped off, but I’m sure it is one. Why? Because they do this crap all the time. Here’s a list of the other ones they’ve done that I’ve seen so far:

All Over
Great adventure game; perfect way to employ my older son (8) for hours with an activity that requires brain, thinking, reading etc as opposed to just numblessly staring at Youtube.
We played the Hebrew version which was perfect for him since he can’t read English.
Hardly any guidance was required from my side as the game is very intuitive and the kid was carried away into hours of playing it (from time to time he came to share with me his experiences and adventures from the game).
Go get it, it is definitelly a covid-19 must have!!

Excellent!
The ultimate saving for our children. I encountered this game during the Covid-19 lockdown period. We have 3 children (ages 11,9 & 4). After going crazy for a few days in the house, the children were introduced to the game. They immediately started to play TOGETHER which was just fabulous! They set with the Challenges and riddles AS A TEAM which we really liked.
It is just wonderful to watch all 3 of them play together trying to unlock the quest.
Highly recommended!!
