moon: Remix RPG Adventure
In 1997, the now legendary anti-RPG “moon” launched in Japan. Now, under the watchful eye of its original creators, it’s finally in English!
Have you ever felt it odd that the heroes of RPGs go around opening villagers' closets and stealing from them? Or that they travel the world indiscriminately killing all monsters they meet? This game looks at the RPGs we all know and love from a new perspective.
Story
One moon-lit night, a young boy is sucked into the depths of his television set.
He falls into a place called ‘Moon World’, and thus begins a search for love in order to recover the lost moonlight.
Here, the mighty hero of Moon World murders innocent animals for experience,
but the boy’s growth comes from saving the souls of the animals and gathering the love in the world.
Yes, in this game, you level up by loving, not fighting.
The inhabitants of this world are all unique. Observe their daily lives and learn where they hide their secret love.
“Now, please, open the door!”
An RPG without battles - Save the monster’s souls -
All the monsters killed by the ‘hero’ are actually just innocent animals. As you explore the game, you will encounter the bodies of these pitiful creatures. But, if the boy can catch their souls, they can be saved.
A living, breathing world! - Peek into the secret lives of the NPCs -
Moon World’s residents go about their routine lives, depending on the time and day. The florist goes to work in the morning, and the castle guards arrive at their posts. Some folks have secret midnight hobbies, and others just spend their days fishing.
MD System - Choose your own soundtrack -
In moon, you can choose your own music. By using the special music playing Moon Disc(MD) function which appears in the game, you can walk around the map listening to the tracks you like in the order you set them.

8/10 - Great value for money if bought & overall a very pleasant, relaxing experience.
This game was truly an enjoyable time. I’ve not completed the game fully but I have gathered the main aspect and the majority of what I needed to do. If I’m guessing, you’ll get about 6-8 hours of gameplay overall before “finishing” this game.
You’re using DNA to create lifeforms and reviving the world, essentially. It’s a very cute, relaxing indie game and the soundtracks are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Absolutely over the moon.

THE GREY MAN
“What we would do if the stars only came out once every thousand years? No one would sleep that night, of course. The world would create new religions overnight. We would be ecstatic, delirious, made rapturous by the glory of a Higher Power. Instead, the stars come out every night and we watch television and play interactive entertainment. "
“The sky is the ultimate art gallery just above us.”
“Looking at these stars suddenly dwarfed my own troubles and all the gravities of terrestrial life. I thought of their unfathomable distance, and the slow inevitable drift of their movements out of the unknown past into the unknown future.”

THE GREY MAN was a wonderful game of discovery, strategy and capturing-ocity from start to end.
The visuals are amazing… it’s a delicious throwback to old-school! You have captivating (multi-leveled parallaxed) landscapes that (in a very subtle way) gives the game so much depth and immerses you in the world THE GREY MAN is stalking around in. You have AMAZING foreground elements (animated & static) that has to be some of the best pixel-art I have seen in quite some time (and i’m an artist SIR/MADAM so i know what I am talking about!!)… and let’s not forget all the characters/animals/items you interact with – so craftily designed. Each element in this game was made with the love that only a fan of games could make. I was clicking on anything and everything.
