If you have played any management game before you will already have an idea of what to expect: you make exhibits to let your creativity take over, manage employees, and hopefully turn a profit in the process.
While not particularly innovative, the game manages to hit enough of the right notes to be enjoyable and relaxing, especially if you fancy the idea of running an aquarium.

Fairly Realistic and Lots of Good Fun
This is a well rounded title with lots of room to grow!
Pros:

Accurate and realistic modeling. I keep fish as a hobby and although most of the animal husbandry mechanics are significantly simplified they are still more or less pretty accurate. Most of the fish artwork is very accurate. These are not made up fish that don’t actually exist.

Simulation and tycoon aspects are well thought out and satisfying. For the most part it feels like success / failures make sense. A grouper ate your anthias because they were small enough to fit in it’s mouth, makes sense!

Let’s Build a Zoo
I Can’t Recommend Let’s Build a Zoo (As it is Now), Here’s Why…
If you had asked me at about 40 hours of gameplay I would have said that I recommend this game for everyone, it’s fun, quirky, original and addicting. I enjoy the morale and unlocking aspect, especially. However the longevity of the game is severely lacking because as you progress, all the little issues begin to pile up and the game becomes unplayable.
Issues such as:
- The notification system is bothersome at best, but mostly annoying. If you have one issue it doesn’t flash “Trash” once and go away, it keeps popping out every 10 seconds, it’s too much, visually.

The fact that this game came out 5 days ago and I already put 21 hours into it (despite going to uni and studying) is probably telling enough of how much I adore this game. Despite many other games from my wishlist (and a huge Animal Crossing DLC) releasing, I was the most hyped to play this and I wasn’t disappointed.
I always wanted a pure zoo game, since playing Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and always building zoos instead. Unfortunately most zoo tycoon games were rated as too shallow, repetitive, etc. This game fixes that by adding several unique mechanics such as breeding and - once you discover all 10 variations of the same species - crossing them with each other and creating all new types of animals. (They’re pretty much the head of one animal on the body of the other, which is super fun)

Minicology
Minicology is a whimsical survival adventure where you play as an astronaut stranded on a tiny planet. Establish yourself in the food chain and try to avoid collapsing the miniature local ecology while you try to farm for yourself, defend against predators, and repair your crashed spaceship.
Strategic Base-Building and Farming:
Minicology’s base-building and farming system forces players to think carefully about how they design their base and establish themselves in the world. Will you industrialize early, pollute your atmosphere with cheap-and-effective fossil fuels, and clean up the damage later? Or will you play it safe and try to limit yourself to primitive, eco-friendly tech which puts you at a disadvantage? Will you figure out how to harness the food chain to defeat problems like predators and pests? Or will you use destructive, man-made tools like heavy weaponry or pesticides and live with the consequences?
Not Just Another Survival Game:
A tiny planet means big consequences! Minicology’s unique ecology-based mechanics mean that players will get a refreshing new take on the survival-game genre. Rather than an infinite world with infinite resources, Minicology features a miniature, simulated ecology. Every creature interacts with others in unique ways, and the extinction of any species could send your tiny home spiraling into ecological collapse. Creatures reproduce, eat, fight, and are domesticated in different ways that each differently affect the ecosystem.
Epic Boss Battles:
Before you can fully utilize all of the resources in your new home, you must clear the planet of dangerous Apex Predators - invasive, overgrown, or parasitic species that have laid claim to the different biomes around the planet. Each unlocks new tools, but will require creative solutions or lightning-sharp reflexes to defeat.
But players must also be wary of success - a blooming ecology will attract extraterrestrial attention. An ecology with a surplus of resources will draw in powerful Celestial bosses - creatures who roam the galaxy, grazing entire planet’s worth of food in a day - or hunting whole ecosystems to extinction. Failing to defeat one of these bosses quickly enough could destroy the delicate balance of your tiny home.

Team up with a friend in fully-supported local split-screen mode! Build bases, fight bosses… and fight each other over how best to manage your planet!

Moonglow Bay
A really fun and relaxing game.
I’m a bit sad it has such a mixed review score.
There’s not really a big challenge to anything you do ingame, however to me this was perfectly fine.
I wanted to play a really laid back game, which is exactly what Moonglow Bay seemed to be.
And I got even more.
You can just chill, catch a few fish, cook, collect pieces of the story behind your character and the citizens of the bay.
You’ll progress through quite the variety of biomes and there’s lots of interesting fish to find, that all have nice little myths the people of the bay affiliate them with.

I really can’t recommend the game in it’s current state. There’s just too many bugs ranging from small visual things to currently unfixable softlocks. I’m currently stuck, unable to progress through a bossfight because it simply won’t continue. I see too many other issues like this in the game’s discord as well. Keyboard support seems like a very last moment addition; on launch, the controls were wonky and you couldn’t even save your game. They updated the controls, but there’s still no way to rebind anything. The game also doesn’t use the mouse, which is strange for a game with analog input in sections. I really wish this game had had some sort of early access/open beta period to iron out the more obvious and game-breaking issues before launch.

The Forger
What can be said, it was a click clicky click and then click the same thing 1000000 more time game,
I would like a bit more hints to the chest puzzle. The first one was super easy, the next clueless.
respawn hit point regain is too high to fast for the mobs.
Changing design or size / placement for hit meter bar.
my eyes were really not able to stare at one point for so long. with also focusing on how much I am doing damage for let alone for the timer where he reset all hit points and starts over.
