Soul Reaper
Soul Reaper quickly hooks player attention with an effectively deployed progression system, and does a fine job in offering multiple avenues to keep engagement levels high. While enjoyable for the most part, its grindy nature can render it tiresome, and the current lack of proper side quests beyond feats leaves something to be desired. Still, it’s a good debut, and a fresh ambassador for the RPG genre that leaves a lasting impression by defying convention.

Really nice, and fast paced; monster-catching strategy RPG. The game has aspects of idle-game style gameplay, however the strategy comes from squad optimisation, gear socketing, and order placement (there are ‘row bonuses’ available, but those’re kinda beyond me at the current time of writing, lol).

Heavily inspired by franchises like Shin Megami Tensei and Pokemon, Eternal Exodus has a series of mechanics that, while easy to learn, offer depth and complexity. Catch demons in the wild, and fuse them with demons in your party to create stronger species of demons.
Through skill inheritance, you can fuse demons to end up with demons who otherwise wouldn’t naturally be able to learn the skills you give them. Want a Clammy that can cast Heal-All? Simply level up a Whisper to level 8 so it learns it, then fuse the Whisper with a Skullray to get a Clammy.
Genetic Fluff
Genetic Fluff is a multiplayer ‘Action-RPG’ creature collection adventure game. You play as one of many time traveling outlanders (Elio, Ada, Sten and Aster), each making their way through other worldly adventures. Our outlander heroes are guided by their abilities to use Genetic Fluff and their Genetic Fluff companion ‘Gene’. You will collect and build up your Genetic Fluff creature collection gaining experience and leveling up during battle. Find special items and discover untold mysteries in a real-time action adventure that you and your friends/family can complete together or alone with local multiplayer support. Planet Centauri
This is a very entertaining game worth its full early access price. I am sure you already know what it reminds you of but it has its own charm. Some key advantages it has over -those- games you are thinking about is that the torch can be placed on hotbar to help you see in the dark areas without having it selected. This means you no longer need to place a thousand torches just to see where you are digging underground at the beginning like in Terraria. You get to capture pets in this game too and they can level up and learn passives. A few of these monsters can be used as mounts. You can put these pets into special pet houses where they will earn xp overtime. Decorating inside of their houses with the proper furniture will boost the rate. Monsters have tiers so finding the higher tier ones will get higher tier passives usually or more HP/attack bonuses. Put a male and female together in house and they will produce an egg granted they are same kind of monster. They will produce egg easier when they love their home more I think (represented by heart meter)
