About

Prometheus Wept is a party and action point turn based RPG set in a near-future, post technology Earth. The game offers hardcore squad-level combat, meaningful choices, deep character progression and an advanced crafting system.

Imagine a near-future earth in which technology has become more integrated and essential to daily life. Imagine the sudden corruption of all this technology, in less than a day, by an incredibly potent virus, which affects everything from the smart kettle in your home to automated agriculture and transport systems. Imagine generations of chaos, widespread loss of life, technical understanding, and the fragmenting of nations into insular city states.

You will assume the role of a wandering Classical Technologist surviving among the splintered remnants of humanity, searching for and attempting to restore the technological relics of humanity’s golden age.

Key Features

  • System infiltration: Transfer your character’s consciousness into the treacherous environment of a corrupted computer system, while allies protect you from physical world threats. Employ a range of scripts (abilities) to overcome corrupted system security, and commandeer physical world systems like defenses and doors from within the machine.

  • Turn (AP) and Party Based Tactical Combat: battle it out with a variety of melee, ranged and explosive weapons, with aimed and special attacks, powerful perk-based abilities, attacks of opportunity and more.

  • Use The Environment To Your Advantage: Destroy cover to leave enemies exposed, use a variety of environmental objects against your foes, and exploit interactions between the primal forces of fire, water and electricity to your advantage.

  • Deep Character Progression: Build your team using the ADAPTED character system, which comprises 7 stats, 17 skills and a huge variety of perks. Throughout the game, you will meet and ally with exceptional individuals, each with their own unique set of perks.

  • Meaningful Choices, Little and Large: Will you pay an odd, roadside priest for a blessing or ignore him? Will you help overthrow a questionable oligarchy, or cement their position against growing unrest? After all, in the post virus world, civilized is a relative term.

  • Deep Crafting System: Create a large variety of weapons, armour, explosives, gadgets, combat stims and medical supplies. The quality of the crafted item is determined by the quality of the blueprints you possess, your crafting skill and the quality of the components used.

For a first time game for these two gentleman I must applaud them. And two years to complete. I’ve been waiting for some games for years and they have a budget and a whole team working on it. This game has lots of aspects to it and can always add more content and story lines. There is really no end to it. You are really trying to survive from the elements, animals, everything you would expect from mother nature!

For the price you can’t go wrong. I didn’t have any trouble with hardware and the game ran smooth mostly. A few crashes when it came to loading from dying and such. But not anything a million dollar title hasn’t had.

ok at first had trouble with the game with food not giving water but with the updates it was good .. crafting was different but easy to get use to it , carrying only 10 items at a time was strange but hey it still worked ok .

It was a fun game to play some parts are tricky with sliding down the hill and dying that was not fun but you get the hang of it ,, it has its ups and downs ,, to me i think its an awesome game to play and will still keep playing it ,, and would recommend it to anyone who likes a challenging survival game

SOS Survival

SOS Survival

Okay first of all I have a Huge amount of Survival Games both Triple AAA and Indie.

This is an indie game that a solo developer is putting together.

It is a bit un-orginised at this time but im sure if the concentration is placed on fine tuning the core basics such as Correcting editing the storyline and entering manovering in and around buildings. Lootable items are okay but can be better and placed better. The configuration is hard to get as they are seperated in main options and an ingame option used with keyboard binding T. It has a good building mechanics this should also be worked on and polished as it could draw more players. I can only reccomend this for those who want to see the game grow and hope that it is a game that is not dropped but can see there are regular updates so this may not be a problem. There are apparantly no workshop items in this game everything is Dev built. Buy if you want to support otherwise if your looking for a game to play without bugs and a few problems then dont buy it.

The intro video was good, but that’s where the good stuff stopped.

I only played the game for about an hour or two, because It was boring.

First of all there was nobody hosting a server, and when you host your own server if you change the setting from gamemode to survival if won’t change back.

It seem to spawn me in a somewhat random spot, with to no clue what I am meant to do. “settlements” are massive distance apart with the occasional enemy inbetween.

Cannot change between gun and melee weapon without going to the inventory.

An amazing game, the village feels alive and everyone does there own thing. the magic system is complex and a little tough to master making you feel like your not just saying words, your saying arcane spells that are easy to mess or screw up. you are not a combat mage. you are a summoner, necromancer, alchemist, warlock. the entire strategy of the game is planning. knowing how and when to strike. do you gather an army of the dead and storm the town, slowly pick them off with poisons, make the forest and roads impassable with evil trees so they slowly starve. or make a portal to hell that there own deaths will fuel. its a wonderful game that allows for a bunch of different play styles. i am waiting for more from this wonderful dev

IN A WORD: MAYBE

IN A NUTSHELL:

WHAT TO EXPECT: Dark arts simulator. Vengeance themed story. Tight game world. Focused, methodical gameplay. Plot and scheme. Repair and upgrade a remote lair as a base of operations. Gather resources to create reagents necessary for spells. Direct and indirect methods of attack. Different builds provide a little replayability. Singeplayer only.

ACHIEVEMENTS: LOOK SIMPLE w/ NO DESCRIPTIONS.

STATUS: COMPLETED. LIMITED SUPPORT.

Death Rattle - Hell Unleashed

A fun game, running around killing all sorts of things. Quite like the campaign. All sorts of different ways to interact with the world. Things popping up all around you. Keeps you on the move and on your feet.

Definitely worth a couple of bucks

I am really enjoying this game!

At first glance I thought that this game seems really cool. The graphics are stunning, the crossbow looks cool, and the voice overs of the guards are done really well (especially the Captain). The tutorial/ training bit in the start is short enough to not be annoying, but it still teaches you the game fairly well. Once you finish the tutorial, you are surprised by a group of monsters, and when they spawn the music changes which is really cool and captivating. I also like that you can destroy some of the structures and even trees!

Survival Planet

This game needs a lot of work. My opinion is that it was released too early to even be early access. It seems more like a proof of concept than anything. One of the very few games I ended up refunding.

:Final Review:

Managed to beat the game and get all achievements. The save and teleport features are fixed. The game is a whole lot less grindy than before so gameplay is way more fun. Since my gripes are solved and I actually put over a hundered hours into this game exploring and looking for stuff as well as finishing it, I find it is well worth my dollar to fun ratio. I stll think it has glitchy and buggy moments, especially if the car hits anything including tiny rocks, but overall worth it.

TLDR: Patience required; but immensely rewarding/satisfying puzzles and an intriguing world make UAYEB worthy of the player’s time.

What’s Awesome:

  • 20 distinct artifact levels varying from puzzle solving, platforming, avoiding boobytraps, and killing enemies (or any combination of the aforementioned elements!)

  • Cryengine and ‘some’ great texture work can make UAYEB a fantastic looking game at times

  • Cringy yet endearing voice-acting (sets a rough early impression, but the actors both fall into a better groove by the game’s conclusion)

Zibbs - Alien Survival

Zibbs - Alien Survival

Update:

Good run on the survival spin as an alien. Had fun, yet I dont see myself building another UFO to escape earth. Still, refreshing survival without getting to complicated.

=====================

This little gem sucks you in. I’m having fun with the trial and error of being a little green man on earth.

The help section can be a little overwhelming, but they have links to youtube videos that demonstrates what you’re reading.

Wish it had coop or multiplayer.

Zibbs - Alien Survival is a open world survival game, where you playing as an alien and you have to survive on Earth until you can make an UFO and get off from the planet.

First things first, the graphocs looks okay. For 2020 it’s not really anything special, but works as intended. What I don’t like it, is if you see something in the distance is so blurry in my opinion or you can see it partially. Also the some UI element should get a better artwork (bar at the top left) and the forest should get a better graphics in general, more grass and give it bit more life. Adding more effects for the game would be awesome too!
