Drone Zone

Drone Zone

The world is contaminated with hazardous radiation from fallen meteors, that forced humanity to hide under the ground. Your mission is to send various battle drones to the areas exposed to radiation. Survive among anomalies, mutants and fight with other drones for valuable resources contained inside the meteors.

ASSEMBLE DRONES

Use acquired resources to craft engines, guns, batteries and other modules. Assemble your own unique drones using these modules.

TACTICAL SHOOTER

Destroy any enemy modules, preventing him from using his strengths. For example, destroy engine to make enemy drone fall down or break his gun to deprive him of the ability to shoot. Don’t forget to protect your modules from enemy attacks.

ACTIVE SKILLS

Every drone has a number of active skills. You will be able to stun the enemy by a burst of energy, turn on the field that blocks enemy attacks, generate your own anomaly to astonish or distract your opponent and use many other abilities.

Lifeblood

Lifeblood

I found this game through a video by Seycara (the composer of the OST). I received a code by supporting the development via the paypal link on the developer’s website, before the Steam Release. The team behind this game has a lot of heart and I admire their dedication to making this game the fantasy BR/survival experience that has been lacking in the market. I highly recommend participating in this game’s early access if you’re interested in helping Homage Studios make this game the masterpiece I know it can become.

Real player with 42.3 hrs in game

  • The game is extremely enjoyable if rough at the start, learning curve is massive, YOU WILL BE ENDED by anyone who has any idea of what they are doing.

  • Classes are vastly different from each other, each with ups and downs and counters.

  • Battles feel like something out of a fantasy book with shit going EVERYWHERE even in small fights from 1v1s to 3v3s or more depending on how many teams are ingame.

  • Crafting and upgrading is how you all weapons and armor it’s simple but, works well you get your gear and choose to either start hunting or more scaveging to get upgrades.

Renown

Renown

Key Game Features:

*** Fast-paced medieval survival with a strong emphasis on melee combat.

  • From building humble farms to huge fortresses, the choice is with the player.

  • A focus on horses, carts, and cavalry warfare.

  • Custom armor system that deflects ranged attacks.

  • Group systems for making Claims, taking titles, giving ranks and more.

  • Server Progression and Wipe systems, for an engaging and vastly replayable experience.

  • Tools for Community Hosts to help tailor their servers. Future plans for extensive moddability.

  • Functioning Combat Alpha waiting for players**

What is Renown?

Renown is a multiplayer survival experience set in a vast and ever-changing medieval world. Players begin with nothing, gather resources, build a kingdom and fight to survive in the hopes of becoming renowned across the land. At its core, Renown is a first-person medieval fighting game, with a strong emphasis on competitive skill-based combat.

Renown takes the most enjoyable and popular aspects from contemporary open-world survival games which include Building, Progression and Social Politics. These are then combined with close quarters, skill-based combat to create an immersive and engaging multiplayer experience.

Key Game Features:

The three main gameplay features which act as the pillars of Renown are:

Combat

The combat system functions with a set of easy to learn, hard to master fighting mechanics. The system is also built so that it is very easy to understand, allowing new players to easily learn the basics. As players become comfortable with the system, their developing level of skill becomes a major source of enjoyment.

Building

The building system uses an easy-to-understand and deploy method. This allows for greater depth when creating both small and large castle or village-type structures. From a small house with only a door, players expand into fully customized castles, creating structures truly unique to the person’s ability and experience.

Raiding

The raiding system represents the pivotal activity that all types of players can undertake in-game. What’s the point in building a great castle if you can’t level someone else’s to the ground. In a way the players are always in an “Arms Race” to see who can build the strongest, smartest, and most awe-inspiring structures. We want to provide you with just as awe-inspiring weapons, siege engines and all the utilities required for an ongoing medieval war.

OceanCraft

OceanCraft

I am going to play this a bit :) There is no options menu and I can not seem to get it out of full screen mode on the desktop nor have I been able to move it to another display; frustrated with that :(

Movement it not easy on the raft, it is teleport only no other option and does not seem to work well with the index controllers I usually have to try a few times to get it to work. It is difficult to move from side to side fast enough to get stuff. also frustrating.

I suppose, With the extreme lack of Good survival VR there is this. For now it will have to do.

Real player with 13.6 hrs in game

Ocean Craft is a game I would encourage you to purchase. if the dev team updates this game it can be one of the best VR games. at this point we have hit a wall, cooking is interactive as you must prep the food before you cook it with fishing technical as you have to catch the fish you can see. farming is also fun as it is a direct process of putting your crop into the dirt and watering it. building is easy but at this point isnt needed unless you plan to mass produce duplicates of your basic needs. you can create your character from a list of various styles and colors and connecting to friends is never a problem. you cannot go into the water and the shark is not a threat. it is easy to starve or die of dehydration and your characters head is so large you eat food by mistake. after a few hours you will find that you have everything you need that is available to just survive on your raft. overall it is a great vr game to play with friends or family .. game has great potential.

Last Year: The Nightmare

Last Year: The Nightmare

so i’v played this game for 61.2 hour’s and i love it it’s pretty fun not gonna lie because when i saw this game on discord a few year’s ago i thought it would be just another horror game to throw in the spooky game pile but it’s a bit more unique in my eye’s instead of the over used abandoned aspect of a wearhouce or random place from a movie it’s a highschool it seem’s pretty well lit but there’s barely anyone here but your 4 friend’s and a killer on the loose the place’s seem’s empty other then the rat’s and dead body’s filling the school. the 3 killer’s are fun as hell i love slasher because he’s like any other slasher villian and he play’s that role hard the voice actor did a great job with his yell’s and laughter when he swing’s and jump’s from a skylight the heavy breating only add’s to the spooky factor. strangler is a pretty fun killer the fact he can catch a classmate with a throw of his chain is pretty fun and unique because i haven’t seen many game’s do that other then dead by daylight with deathslinger but that guy came out in 2019 maybe 2020. the giant is a pretty cool ass killer picking up classmate’s and throwing them and being able to run across the whole gym as him is also pretty damn cool but he’s super slow and i can see why if he was faster then the strangler he would be yeeting your ass into a wall and running over to you in second’s . the classmate side is my favorite even thought killer is fun but i love the idea of being in a safest spot in the world but then realizing that oh ‘yeah there’s no one alive here but me and the 4 other’s’. the classes are cool as hell you can choose from scout, tech, medic and assualt let’s start off with scout. scout is the one class that can see if the killer is in ghost mode or physical mode they also have a tracker that tell’s them if the killer is close by with a little heartmoniter that goes up and down getting more unstable as the killer closes in and the fact when the killer die' the tracker goes flat showing that you killed him. the assualt class is like the bread and butter for this game with a pipe in hand your job is to hurt the killer before he hurt’s you being able to make a baseball bat and barbed wire and nail’s for the pipe to deal more damage (i’ll go more into detail’s about crafting) your just even more set if you make a helmet to block incoming damage from the killer and a molotov to deal even more damage. before we head on to more classes let’s talk about the crafting system it’s pretty good with every different class have their own unique craftable stuff the scout can make a smoke bomb, adrenilaen shot and a shotgun the thing’s you craft take scrap somthing you can find by looting inbetween book’s in boxes and in tarped crate’s some time you can also search teacher desk for some but back to the crafting for the tech you can craft painkiller’s,porximity mine and a flamethrower for the assualt you can build a helmet, molotov and a baseball bat. for the medic there was a slight change from after dark and the og you can make a belt flashlight, pipe bomb and a tazer. you can also upgrade your main class like for scout you can have a faster recharge rate and longer blind for tech you can have a faster crafting rate and faster firing speed for the medic you can build more charges and health regen. now we can go back to the classs for the tech you can build a turret that was ment for chiping at the killer’s heath bar and slow him down same for there abillity to board up a door and waste the killer’s time breaking it and for the medic you have the job of healing the rest but if you heal the assualt while there attacking it can help them live a bit longer to deal a bit more damage but what im saying is this game is a damn blast give it a try if you don’t like it then you can refund it but please don’t come to me saying you coulden’t play the game becasue there’s no one on then wait a bit then come back to the game there will be someone that has a lobby started

Last Year: The Nightmare is BY FAR the most UNDERRATED multiplayer game I’ve heard of! It didn’t remotely receive the love it deserved. Getting to replay this version of it fills me with so much nostalgia…

Honestly now, what could one possibly not adore about the game?

  • it has an intriguing gameplay; you’re not just running around or shooting stuff all day

  • it has a crafting system and some really cool weapons cough cough Pipe Bombs cough cough

  • the graphics and sound effects are just WOW!

The Frost Rebirth

The Frost Rebirth

so i like survival games but the spawn rate of enemies is way to fast. game needs alot of work are we just done getting updates?

Real player with 5.7 hrs in game

I i was excited to start this game since i missed survival games like this but, there is a big but.

graphics are set to max but looks like a dog took a shit on the game when it was made (i knop its early access but come on)

when i pick up things, they just vannish out of thin air, i am glitching through walls and rocks even have falled through the map a a fair amount of time. i am tired of having hopes for a game even for an early access and get let down. i dont expect much but then again let down. im not going to play this game again before the full version is out. as my experiences with early access games either get forgotten or takes a long long time to get ready for full release. you have a good thing going just put more time and effort to the game and its going to be a realy good game hopefully. i am not going to recomend this game yet until the games gets a few updates and is handeling better than it is know.

Nine to Five

Nine to Five

So… i played over 100 hours and i think i’m legally allowed to tell you what i feel about this game.

First off. The current update is 2.0.0 and is still Early Access.

That said i think we can all assume that the game features that are currently here are pretty limited.

On it’s on that’s not a bad thing because there is alot that can happen.

Aside of that there’s also alot of positive and some negative aspects currently in the game.

Positives:

  • Unique 3v3v3 gameplay like no other game

  • Objectives that vary from game to game

Real player with 317.4 hrs in game

TL:DR The game has a lot of potential but it’s biggest current issue is the server lag that leads to the game never feeling smooth to play. The 3v3v3 mode is quite fun but it might not matter as you end up playing against a co-ordinated team of 3 players who have been playing the game since release and you don’t even have a scope on your gun.

I initially worried that the 3v3v3 style would lead to one team always getting bullied by the other teams, but this in reality is not the case and the mode is actually quite refreshing and fun. The current two maps offer nice contrast, with one being much bigger taking place in a city landscape, where snipers reign supreme and the other one enjoys a combination of close range combat with some aspects of long distance. While there are distinct classes to choose from, there really isn’t much variety between them as you need to grind a LOT to get the components and attachments for your chosen weapon to make in any shape or form better than the default.

War Builder League

War Builder League

Update 12Jul19:

Game seems interesting.

Active developer fixing some issues quickly.

Mostly AI.

Fractions of a second time-to-kill.

May rejoin game sometimes, but on either team.

Bots can shoot through shields/walls.

Bots sometimes do not function at all.

Instant kills promoted, defeating purpose of building.

Can hack to harass a single player, preventing them from playing all match, from spawn.

Infinite self-destruct loop.

Having AI bots as allies is bypassed by predefined groups of players.

AI effort/skill inversely linked to current relative score of a team.

Before you read the Do Not Recommend and walk on:

There are some in development features that look exciting to retouch on in a future iteration including:

Mech Legs. I love me some mech-i-pedes

Mega Bots. I love me some big bots.

New Maps. I love me some variety.

There was some other stuff shown on their kickstarter page but given how funding efforts went, it’s uncertain how much of the remaining content on said list has plans for active or down the line development.

Adventure Awaits

Ahoy is an immersive first-person multiplayer action-adventure game set during the Age of Sail. Aiming to provide an authentic experience of the late 18th century Caribbean through sailing, combat, trade and social mechanics.

Tall-ship Sailing

Our aim is to capture an in-depth and complex sailing experience, with direct control over each sail. It will require a crew to correctly react to the changes in weather and sea-state, or maneuvering for combat encounters.

Ahoy features all of the hallmarks of a great naval encounter. Devastating broadsides, agile sailing maneuvers, action-packed boarding actions—all that remains is the teamwork to succeed.

Historical authenticity

Every ship, lovingly recreated. Every interior room, rope, hoop and hinge is built on real historical artefacts, drawings and models. Ahoy provides an educational experience in addition to it’s gameplay offering. Much of the terminology and methods used will be displayed and explained to deepen the understanding of this nautical lifestyle.

True First Person

Our focus on immersion through environmental detail, expressive audio landscapes, and a true first-person perspective creates an incredible backdrop to explore this time in history.

Large-scale Multiplayer

Multiplayer battles with up to 32 players per ship create for exciting engagements. With future plans to increase the scale of conflicts, Ahoy will provide a naval experience unlike any other.

And Much More…

As Ahoy develops, the aim is to capture much of the experience of life in the late 18th century.

Our Development Roadmap on our website outlines our goals for now and towards future releases of Ahoy.
