Bear and Breakfast

Bear and Breakfast

Bear and Breakfast is a laid-back management adventure game where you play as a well-meaning bear trying to run a B+B in the woods. Hank and his friends find an abandoned shack and, equipped with their teenage ingenuity, turn it into a money-making bed and breakfast scheme for unsuspecting tourists. As your business expands so do the mysteries of the forest, and Hank soon finds himself uncovering a plot deeper than the wilderness itself.

  • Build and personalize your inn with dozens of guest rooms, bathrooms, parlors, and entertainment.

  • Each room can be individually customized completely from furniture to fixtures.

  • Bring guests into the forest to stay at your inn. Keep ‘em happy to maintain your reputation, earn money and attract new customers!

  • Complete quests and story lines to collect new items and perks for your inn.

  • Uncover a world rich in lore, side quests, characters, and secrets.

Moving through the story-rich world of Bear and Breakfast will have you stumbling on dozens of interesting folks and weirdos, much like yourself.

Most of them have something to say about your endeavors and if you take some time out of your day to listen, they might help your build your shack to new heights!

Not everyone is as helpful or as needy though. Are you bear enough to search deep within the forest and your soul to find the mysteries that lie within?

Craft Craft Craft! Review

Good things:

Good thing is that someone take their time to make this game as it is a good learning experience for future. I’m sure many developers created many weak bad games before they got one right and made something good. Graphic is ok and all the assets looks fine so I hope they didn’t cost too much to buy.

I think if someone loves clicker games he will love this game as it is just a clicker with an extra steps that force you to click in more places than one. You buy resources by clicking and you go to other screen to process those resources than you go to another screen to forge things from these resources and than you go to the next screen to sell these items and get more gold to start doing this process all over again. After a while you can also use forged items to create an army and attack some villages and these villages if conquered can give you resources if you click once every 2 minutes and they can also be upgraded to give a little more resources. And that is the whole game loop. Craft things to sell them to get more gold to craft more items or give items to army to conquer something and get more resources.

After the tutorial you will learn everything about game. You can do trades, craft weapons and sell them or you can build an army with them. War system is simple, trading is not my thing so I build my army and now I am trying to conquer the other cities. Good game to pass the time.

This is a maybe for me, not an actual yes. Yet. The core concept is amazing, the art style is great, and there is real ingenuity here. People complain it needs more tutorial and I disagree. However, it needs pause, the ability to queue orders, and more depth and sense in the skill system.

I really want this game to be good. It’s such an interesting concept, and fun when it’s parts come together. I’ve played 95 hours in it not just because my ADHD has me randomly focused on it right now. It is genuinely engaging. It needs a few things and once it has them this simple title could be one of my all time favs.

I normally don’t write reviews, but in this case i wanted to make one, because i think the game is underrated.

Highrisers is a nice looking pixel style survival game. The goal of the game is to repair your helicopter to get off a skyscraper on which you crash landed. In order to repair your heli you search the building from top to bottom for usable materials. Everything you find can be dismantled and the materials gained from it can be used to craft a huge variety of weapons and other useful things (most of it needs to be unlocked first by leveling your 4 characters).

The Rule of Land: Pioneers

it’s aight, pretty addictive.

needs a light polish, some spelling checking

on screen text gets a bit annoying after some time

“Press [esc] to cancel this operation”

“No Bullets”

I hate having to press M1 for every action,

Mining 40 rock is tedious.

loses difficulty fast.

I gets very boring after all other survivors are dead.

Getting to 200 days is mostly a chore

edit:

4-11-2020

I just found the “continues mining” option. the game is much better now.

This ended up being a lot more fun than I figured.

I was worried that having the game play limited to just a few locations would make it repetitive but it actually wasn’t.

The only thing I disliked was that the HUD wasn’t explained very well but it is a brand new game so take it with a grain of salt.

Overall I found it to be a medium paced game that was thoroughly enjoyable. I look forward to watching it develop more over time.

Capital Profit is a first person crafting tycoon game. It is based on the gathering of resources and creating them into various objects. Furthermore, you can sell these objects to NPCs in-game via your very own shop. The goal of the game is to either make the most amount of money possible or have the coolest/ rarest items!

  1. Search For Resources

  2. Build Items

  3. Sell Items

  4. Buy Items

  5. Decorate

Reasons to Play

  • Build Your Shop Empire In Real-time

  • Competition: Compare your shop and island with your friends and try to be the one who has the coolest items or the most money

  • Replay-ability: Continue playing and upgrading your island until you are satisfied

  • Family Friendly: This game has absolutely no violence except for the concept of fishing

The Name

I often get asked how I came up with the name “Capital Profit”. The game is very much based on the functions of capitalism, because of the buying/ selling of items and getting the most amount of money possible. Plus it was a word that my friend liked after I suggested to him (I’m all about that friendly teamwork). Now the word “Profit” is mostly based on profiting from the work/ play-time you put in the game. Therefore Capital Profit are two words that represent the game very well.

FOUNDRY

FOUNDRY

FOUNDRY is a first-person factory building simulation set in an endless procedurally generated voxel world. Mine resources, craft machinery and automate your research to progress through the game. Face logistic challenges by planning and building a conveyor belt and pipe network. Manage a complex power system and expand your constantly growing production lines.

Automate Everything

While you start small by crafting your first items and machines by hand, you will soon find yourself surrounded by a large sci-fi factory doing the work for you. You need to expand your factory by building more production lines, conveyor belts and pipes while keeping a stable power supply for your growing energy demands. By conducting research, you will unlock more advanced, complex and faster technology to optimize the design and maximize the output of your factory.

Expand Worldwide

Every new game starts with a different procedurally generated voxel world. Each block can be destroyed and new blocks (terrain or buildings) can be placed to shape the worlds to fit your desires. Build your sprawling factory on a mountain, in the jungle or inside the deepest mine - everything is possible!

Play Together

FOUNDRY can be played alone or cooperatively with friends. The multiplayer mode works over the internet as well as offline through LAN networking. There are currently no player limits for multiplayer, but we think the game is best played with 2-4 players.

Learning Factory

Learning Factory

As a big fan of simulators (especially building-type simulators), I was excited to check this game out from the second it popped up on my gaming feed. It’s still in Early Access so it’s not quite complete, but you’ll still be able to put in quite some time to getting your factory up to tip top shape.

PROS:

  • Nothing really costs too much money, so as long as you keep your researchers busy learning new things, you can make a large factory/shops with ease.

  • Once you craft something, it’s yours forever. If you place it down, you can just pick it right back up.

Real player with 20.9 hrs in game

Highly recommended, I bought it the moment the lovely Discord staff said it was up on Steam for sale.

Keeping in mind, this is an Early Access game, so some features will be inevitably changed, but so far, the game is so reminiscent of Factorio. Within the two hours of me playing this game, it had me do some quests that get you a little taste of the game.

Fair Warning, this game is buggy. It just got released a few hours ago. Have some faith you people.

I personally have beef with that delayed crafting bug.

Mr. Prepper

Mr. Prepper

I’ll be honest and say that I wasn’t sure if I liked it the first few hours but boy did I change my mind. I was expecting to actually have to survive in the shelter I created and see the aftermath of the wasteland left after the world goes to hell and I was puzzled as to why this sort of game play wasn’t added in but it’s still a fantastic base building , survival game and I hope they’ll add DLC in the future, where you’ll actually be able to survive in the bunker or even get to experience what happens after landing the rocket .

Real player with 448.5 hrs in game

Mr. Prepper. A survival base building game that’s not about survival and not about base building but purely story-driven.

TL;DR: If you can get it cheap (10 USD/EUR), give it a shot. But if you want a survival challenge or expect another game like This War Of Mine, STAY AWAY. It has SO much unused potential. It could be so much more.

PROS:

  • Interesting story. Mr. Prepper is not your average guy.

  • The typical “just one more day” game design that sucks you in.

  • 3 (4) NPCs you interact with that are all kinda likable.

PoliPlanet

PoliPlanet

Your galaxy is a blank slate; An untamed wilderness full of potential! Travel from planet to planet and develop each one into a beautiful village, town, or city through the use of machines and crafting!

Physics-Based Interaction

Actions in PoliPlanet are generally completed by interacting with the physical world rather than through the use of menus and UI. Whether it’s gathering resources, loading machines, or planting trees, it’s all done in real time and space.

Free-Form Building

No grids, no point & click. Whether it’s a segment or a complete structure, you’re free to build wherever and however you want. Let your creativity flourish!

Real Relationships

Citizens in PoliPlanet are not mindless NPCs who follow a predetermined set of instructions. They build complex relationships with the player and each other. Treat them well!

Natural Progression

As you develop your skills, you’ll learn more about the resources at your disposal and gain the ability to craft bigger and better structures and machines. As your planets become more inviting, NPCs will begin take notice. If they like them enough, they might even fly over in their rocket ship and take up residence! But of course, everyone is different. A merchant might want to see a few other citizens living on your planet before they’re willing to set up shop. They need someone to sell to after all!

Elaborate Procedural Generation

Each planet is unique, with its own resources and features! So what if your citizens are requesting some plant life on your sandy, desert planet? Well, it’s off to your spaceship to search for a shiny new planet, lush with trees and plants! But how will you get them back to your civilization? Rockets? An overly complicated tube system? Build a transportation robot who exists solely to carry out your every request? It’s up to you!

Too many things are missing at the moment.Took weeks for patch that lets you open the chests and that still doesn’t work properly.Audio drives you mad so you can either have music and sounds or complete silence.Needs a lot of work and commitment putting into it but I don’t think the Dev is bothered.
