Slickpoo The Clown

Slickpoo The Clown

This game is pretty neat considering the price, but I would like to see achievements added.

Adding buyable object in the steam point shop and steam collecting card also is a good idea.

You should also remove the mouse icon in the game and upgrade the graphics resolution.

i SUGGEST OTHER PEOPLE TO BUY THIS GAME TO SUPPORT THE DEVOLOPER, because despite the game isn’t good, there are some great ideas.

Dark Tales from México: Prelude. Just a Dream… with The Sack Man

DARK TALES FROM MÉXICO

This is a saga of 9 short games and a prelude in a 3D survival horror style, based on tales from the real Mexican folklore in which every monster it´s originally a physical sculpture made and painted by hand and then 3D scanned using photogrammetry.

IN THIS EPISODE

You are a young girl who is sleeping and having a nightmare in the middle of which your grandmother appears giving you a key, then a black cat starts talking to you and tells you that if you want to wake up, you must recover, in less than an hour, a dagger that is inside a labyrinth where the Sack Man lives, the monster that steals children from that old legend that your grandmother also told and warns you that this labyrinth is alive, that it changes its shape and that it will protect the monster by showing you your own fears, and that if you fail, you will remain inside the labyrinth forever and you will never wake up again.

PickCrafter

PickCrafter

What is “PickCrafter”?

PickCrafter is a clicker game with idle elements that was based on Minecraft and its clones. The game’s unique mechanic is that there are many picks, which you can activate for short bonuses. We get to that below.

Graphics

The graphics of PickCrafter are relatively basic, but the particle effects etc. are very nicely made, giving it an appearance of a kind of living world. Don’t get me wrong, you usually just crack block after block. But there are also boss fights, and the pickaxe powers, and abilities, which all are nicely made. In addition, events are run half the time (usually an event starts Friday evening and lasts for three or four days, in rare cases they are longer). If they have specialized graphics, they also fit.

Real player with 4267.3 hrs in game

Usually clickers become easier and you can go further every time you start over - keeping some of the benefits you’ve earned. Not in PickCrafter. The restart currency (“ender pearls”) is locked at three pieces and after a few upgrades that make the game go faster (require less blocks to advance and such), you need way more than just three pearls as these barriers also keep rising. So by the time you’ve accumulated enough pearls to lower the bar one inch, it rose five. That’s where I’m stuck by boredom after prestiging 40 times. Doesn’t help that a lot of things like pickaxes are barred behind tasty paywalls AND require steady “runic” (ingame cash currency) investments to remain useful. I’m usually motivated by this to try to come extra far but the greed is too strong in this one. I understand, the dev wants to make money but this design is borderline shady and it should be thought over. Except three zones that only can be accessed by teleport skill or ender pickaxe (and only as long as they’re active, we’re talking seconds here): once you’ve reached the last area and start over, you’ve seen it all. A fun minecraft-related clicker for a few days but not worth besting at.

Survive 2 Thrive

Survive 2 Thrive

Story

In a post-apocalyptic world, you awake inside of a dark bunker. The bunker has kept you safe for many months, however, rations are running low and systems are failing. Exploration of once familiar world remains your only chance for survival. In this new environment you will be tested and constantly reminded of how close to death you truly are.

Hardcore Survival Experience

Beware this game will test you! It will push you to the brink of death and if you somehow survive, this world will find a new way to kill you. You start with a limited supply of food, water, and oxygen. You will need to build, automate, and explore if you are to have any hope of surviving. Seriously though, this game is made by lunatic and you will die.

Build System

You will need to build everything… and I mean everything from power, plumbing, air/water purification, storage, food, defense systems. Did I mention this world wants to kill you? How you choose to greet death is your choice.

Particle Based Physics System

Elements will be able to change states and flow just like they would in real life. So yes that means we will have solids, liquids, gases running on a particle based physics simulation. I am not saying you should go to college as a physics major before playing this game, but hey, it might help. Some people call this the dark souls of survival games… you should probably just move on.

3d Platformer

The game is built in 3d world which you will be able to see through a 2d third person view… Gamers who play platformers like super meat boy, terraria, or hallow knight will feel at home navigating this world.

Someday You’ll Return

Someday You’ll Return

Someday You’ll Return is a game that is disgustingly wonderful enough to keep the most patient and curious players stuck to it until the end or keep others halfway after a while. Let me tell you why.

What to expect - This game is way more than just a walking simulator with gore and occasional riddles to solve. There will be several things you’ll be interacting with through your journey, mostly demanding to reveal the path, while others being just collectibles you can eventually find in dead-ends or just in random odd places that will even make you giggle a bit at times.

Real player with 37.1 hrs in game

Someday You’ll Return is a psychological horror game with more genres included than ingredients in a can of “insert name brand cola here”. It’s a dizzying whirlwind of stealth survival horror, first-person platforming, adventure game style puzzles, rock climbing simulation, environmental puzzling, potion crafting, chase scenes, and I think some kitchen sink plumbing, but I could be wrong on that last one because it may be sewer pump maintenance instead. It is somewhat held together somehow, but on top of that the game is marred by frustrating gameplay due to some odd design choices, bugs, and a story that, while slightly intriguing, ultimately falls short because it just does not have enough moments to get the player involved in the 20+ hours it takes to finish and the main character is simply a terrible human being.

Echo of the Wilds

Echo of the Wilds

This review is based on v6 of the game.

Echo of the Wilds is a great little pixel art puzzle/survival game with a very involved developer.

I beat the game my first time in about 17 hours and completed all achievements after about 36 hours. I would say that there isn’t much replayability after getting all of the achievements and most people would be satisfied with just beating the game once (you could get all achievements in one playthrough, but it took me multiple playthroughs to figure out optional puzzles and to really get the mechanics of the game). It was definitely a worthwhile game for me and I did enjoy almost every minute of playing.

Exceeded my anticipation

I bought Echo of the Wilds on the morning of the 9th and “completed” it on the 11th, early evening (approx. 20 hours). I took only 3 breaks from the game, and two of them were against my will. I’m telling you this to give you an idea of how much I really enjoyed this game. Survival-puzzle game sums up EotW tidily, but it’s like nothing I’ve ever played before. There’s quite a bit going on - with three quarters resting solely in the player’s hands and the other quarter left to randomness and the seasons. Some players may feel overwhelmed in the beginning and give up. Just stick with it, it pays off.

July 11 2021:

As of writing this review many things in my life and the world are changing. Not only is the COVID-19 pandemic coming to a close and the world is finally opening up, but I am also preparing to move. However one thing has stayed the same throughout these past months. My dedication to this wonderful and truly magnificent game “Fidget Spinner Editor”.

Let me preface this review by stating this… I am entirely biased toward this game, and this entire review will be describing this game in positive light and elaborating/building on my previous two reviews of the game

Real player with 3000.2 hrs in game

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Fidget Spinner Editor. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also the Spinners nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- its personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Fidget Spinner Editor truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Spinners existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Myarcadegames genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂
