Naudrion: Fall of The Empire

Naudrion: Fall of The Empire

Very fun game. Exploration galore. Big world. Needs better quest notes. Needs more detail in buildings. (reminds me of Gorgon decor). Leveling is nice, but didn’t notice much progression with power on spells. Ice magic was okay, but a sword seemed more efficient. Need to have increased damage as you level or as you add mana…or just some progression spells. Love the skill books that can be bought since I like to craft too. Crafting seems not in. Couldn’t make an ingot, or make leather. Didn’t seen any Alchemy recipes or cooking etc. Runes sometimes didn’t work, found that dropping them and picking up helped.

Naudrion: Fall of The Empire is an excellent dark fantasy with an open, seamless world, with multiple crafting and interesting tasks.

I like this game that it was created by one person and is constantly updated, it is very cool on the part of the developer that he did not just put the game out and forget but continues to develop it!

Fire Place

Fire Place

It’s the perfect time for a virtual Fire Place

with days getting shorter and hazy seasons approaching.

The game – or rather simulation – offers a variety of scenes/locations to choose from, generally season unrelated.

You might choose the bonfire at the beach or the mediterranean looking fire-place for some chill summer evenings.

The game offers to many options to manipulate the behaviour of the fire itself and also the rendering/appearance to list them all. You can change brightness and glow but also get detailed control like how fast the heat spreads or the ambient heat which affects the fire.

Less game, more experience. Fire Place works as both a short-session way to chill and a long one if you need a sleeping aid. Once you’ve got a decent fire going it’ll keep itself active for about 20 minutes depending on available fuel, or you can tinker with it every 5 or so minutes to maintain it indefinitely. There are multiple scenes to work with, ranging from a generic campfire to an old Victorian-era fireplace in a vaguely spooky room.

Note here each fireplace layout features different audio, some of which is great and some…well, you’ll wonder why its addition to the game was celebrated lol. There are thankfully sliders for the music as well as everything else including how the fire reacts to materials - modifying some of these though can cause your GPU to break a bit of a sweat so low-spec users should be wary.

Azuran Tales: Trials

Azuran Tales: Trials

Nice sidescrolllng dungeon crawler!

I have got thru about 5 or 6 levels so far, and I may come to regret saying this, but I don’t find it as hard as some of the other reviewers, and I am no Platforming Master. Many platformers, like Cuphead, Hallow Knight or SuperMeatboy are too hard for me. I would call Azuran Tales a Platformer-Lite, but the combat is challenging enough.

Some of the bosses are very tough; one in particular is a Mage who kept throwing ranged spells. I tried to dodge them and then get in my whacks when I could, but the spells just kept stacking up. After probably 15 failures, I tried a new tactic and that was go toe to toe with him. He could still throw spells but not as many and after another 10 tries I beat him. That may sound like a lot of deaths but not that crazy for a Souls-like game. In this game there is a save point right before the bosses, who may wipe me out in less than a minute, but I can go right back at em in a few seconds.

This game was alot of small twist in platforming games and a good amount of challenges. I wasn’t some god or op character which made me focus on the game alot more. loot was distrubited fairly and it made explore the area finding new things which was cool. The level up system was okay and I’m not sure if it had any effect on my character. It got buggy when i wasn’t able to damage to goblins that applied the slowing condition on me out of nowhere and the my attack animation wasn’t as fast as i though it would be. Most of the monsters could tank damage which I thought i could stagger them, and basic monster can one or two shot you. Monster placement was not to my liking as well as i could not get to a portal without a mob ganging up on me or two golems camping by a gate i needed to open to progress. how ever This is fun and i can’t for the imporvements to be made

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is a heart-warming tale about how even a woman who spent ten years in a coma can get up and be in better shape than you are.

You play as Miriam, a walking fashion disaster. A bunch of alchemists performed evil mad science on her, giving her a host of strange and unnatural powers. Chief among these is the ability to grow stronger and healthier simply through the power of diet and exercise. She can also bind demon souls to her body to gain magic powers, but this is par for the course in games like these. Together with her personal trainer Johannes, they seek to convince an old friend to go back to the good old days of loving his body, again, and save him from his toxic, unrealistic body standard girlfriend.

I’ve played almost 50 hrs and got all the achievements, so lemme tell ya

This game is one of best metroidvenia i’ve played.. however, story-wise it’s normal.

The controls and movements ain’t as smooth as other 2D games, but ti works fine

There are a variety of weapons, armors, skills and shards to use and upgrade.

The game is full of castlevenia references but the story-line has nothing to do with it,

I got the game on a discount, so i will suggest you wait for a discount before paying full price

Lightmare Castle

Lightmare Castle

I played this game a day or two after its release. There were a few game breaking bugs I noticed (as mentioned in previous reviews). I went to get the bow (huntsman quest) then couldn’t use the bow, or find my way back to the huntsman to begin my pelt quest.

I have since played this game again, about 2 weeks later and the changes made in that time are noticeable: huntsman is visible on map now, castle with bow is not dark and gloomy (it is quite nice with good lighting I might add) and the bow works (mostly). I am not a game developer, I understand there is work to be put into a game and I was able to notice the change. There are still bugs to be found. I noticed some of the wolves would seem to reanimate, with my arrows still in them, very interesting to see. I grew more limbs when I would load up a game from within the game. There were a few others I noticed as well.

Honestly this game has a bit of potential but there are soooooooo many things that should have been fixed before you even thought about releasing it. I dont want to call the game a scam because it shows that there was some effort put into it but 5$ is too much for this game. Its like buying a cup of coffee but just getting the cup with no coffee in it and also the cup has a hole in the bottom…also the cup is half made…and the other half is made out of shit.

When firing arrows you dont aim correctly you pull the arrow back to your eye which is a really weird perspective and when firing your arrows you can shoot your own bow with your arrow

Tap Adventure: Time Travel

Tap Adventure: Time Travel

Pretty fun! If you’re addicted to clickers (which I am) and time wasters (which I am) this is another good addition. Repetitive backgrounds (of course) but a lot more diverse than others, and the fantasy & guild heroes theme is actually utulized unlike most clicker games! Very Free, just expect to leave it running a LONG LONG Time. If that’s not your thing? This is not your game. If you’re looking for a total time soak with easy to play in the background of work? PERFECT!

Edit 7/13: Updating to add a ton of TL;DR basic tips

The first thing you may notice about Tap Adventure: Time Travel is the graphics. Whether it’s the character design or the different environments that you end up going to, everything is all very well drawn. It’s genuinely pleasing to look at, especially for a clicker game. Unfortunately, I think this is the only strong point about this game.

Things start out as any other clicker game; you’ll be able to hire a few mercenaries and get through a few hundred levels before you’ll have to time loop. You will have to repeat this process hundreds of times of course, getting a little further each time. You’ll earn more gold, runestones, keys, and manacoins, unlock more artifacts and heroes, and so on and so forth. It’s a typical clicker game.

Deathtrap

Deathtrap

+ Pros +

  • A very entertaining gameplay

  • A large amount of traps and skills that allow a diversified gameplay

  • A functional multiplayer mode

  • Stunning and detailed graphics.

- Cons -

  • Serious balance and design problems with certain levels.

  • A high price for a game that reuses existing models and doesn’t introduce anything revolutionary.

Gameplay

Deathtrap is a spinoff to The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series. It’s based on the tower defence mechanics, estrapolated directly from its parent. It’s similar to Sanctum, mixing turrets and playable characters with their passive and combat skills defending a point from incoming waves of enemies.

Real player with 47.6 hrs in game

Deathtrap is an interesting combination of tower defence and action RPG in a fantasy setting. The player has to stop an assortment of demonic creatures from reaching portals. You do this by building traps along the creatures path, and you also control a character that can move around the map and attack the creatures directly. Its similar to Orcs Must Die, but with a more elevated camera angle.

The player character can be either a warrior, rogue or mage depending on if you want to focus on melee or ranged attacks. You move with arrows/wasd, have a basic attack on LMB and upto 5 other abilities on hotkeys. These abilities cost rage/mana which is generated by using the basic attack, and there are more than 5 abilities to choose from, plus several passives, so you can build a character that suits your playing style.
