Ambidangerous
This is definitely one of the most unique games I’ve played. The learning curve it pretty steep initially but not overly difficult. You control two separate characters in a top-down shooter with a single controller. Your left hand controls one character and your right hand controls the other. Think of it as if rubbing your belly and patting your head got converted to a video game. I reccomend either putting both characters together initially so your movements are identical or just shoving one guy in a corner where he is safe.

Delta Squad
Delta Squad has nearly been out for a year now and I stumbled upon it while browsing the store pages for smaller games. I was visually attracted to the art style for a top down shooter and thought this was a game I could get my friends into after giving it a quick play through.
Art, Lighting & Rendering 5/5
Loved the appeal of the modeling, colors and textures.
Animation & FX 5/5
Music & Sound 5/5
I loved all the sounds the guns made, when they hit their targets or the environment nearby. I don’t know why but I enjoyed shooting the lamp post just to hear that ping sound. Voice overs took me back to the arcade days.

I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1
I highly recommend this game if your looking for a good twin stick shooter that won’t take much of your time. From playing the Xbox 360 version to now the Steam I can tell you that this game hold up very well. What makes it better that it is a free experience so if you don’t enjoy it you just have to uninstall. When you get a chance definitely take some time into playing it.

FINALLY. This was easily one of my favorite games back on Xbox Arcade. It’s not that it’s a huge game. To be fair it’s a chaotic mess, but it’s so much fun. The soundtrack meshes perfectly with the gameplay too and was well worth the $1 cover charge the game used to require. Hopefully “I MAED A S0NG W1TH Z0MBIES 1N IT” makes it’s way to Steam soon as well since we can have soundtracks now. The only thing that could make this game better is more of it but for a bite sized 10 minute adventure this one is hands down one of the best.

It is a fast paced shooter game that is beautiful in its artwork and play fun in this game play. There are a few bugs in the game but over all it is a fun game that keeps you locked into the action.

Crucible
I’m one of the developers for this game; I produced the game, put together the overall design vision, and programmed the bullet patterns. This project was an incredible learning experience, and I’m thankful to my team for making it such a fun and fulfilling time. It was my very first game project, and very much a passion project.
Things that went well:
-
For a six-week project between three freshman-level developers, I’m proud of how much we squeezed into the game.
-
The game is extremely short, but is a complete experience. The player can win and lose, and there is a progression in difficulty (if imperfect).

My play through here:
Review
I really liked the music a real piano bop and the game itself it’s challenging and I’m glad the game gives you a reason to play through with no continues. Normal mode is definitely manageable, but it’s still challenging enough it’s pretty rewarding when you beat it on normal with no continues. Legendary is beyond my skill level, but normal is pretty user friendly and if you really struggle you can use continues to make the game beatable by everyone you only get the best ending with no continues though. Definitely recommend a solid free to play that lets you practice/test your bullet hell skills

Shoot Shoot Mega Pack
This is a super fun game that’s easy to learn, feels light and whimsical on the surface, but the more you play, the more you realize that the game has serious depth and replayability. The sheer number level and game mechanic permutations is awesome and makes every round feel fresh and different. The controls are slick, excellent game feel, and the art and sound design are great too.
Round up some friends, grab some controllers, and I guarantee you’re going to have some good fun.

Like Jason P. Kaplan, I am also a character in this game. I was also present when it was invented, and I watched it grow up like a sturdy oak.
But if I thought it was bad, I would just say nothing.
It’s good. It’s smooth. This is multiplayer mayhem burnt down to an essential, all-shooting diamond of a thing.
If you have friends, buy SSMP. If you do not have friends, I don’t know. You live in great denial.
