START AGAIN: a prologue
Lovely game. It succeeds in making you care a lot about every character even though it’s very short. The writing is masterful, the art is simple but really works, the combat system wants to make you feel like it’s rushed, but actually works perfectly.
-
It made me cry big tears while not alone in broad daylight
-
Tip: if you get the credits that’s the ““true”” ending, but if you want to get all 4 endings (and you really really should get them), just roleplay, that is to say, feel what the game tells you your character feels at the moment it tells you to. Then go to therapy because it’s a lot.

Start Again balances sweetness and depression through this short story about a timeloop. The combat is solid and fun, if a bit simplistic. But the real reason to play is for the characters, dialogue and art. You can’t help but fall in love with these likeable, cheesy, heartwarming characters. Overall, for $11 its a good deal if you enjoy short character focused JRPGs. I can’t wait for the next part :)

Red Rust
Red Rust is retro-style side-scrolling game which uniquely combines fighting mechanics with shooting mechanics. The game is heavily inspired by 8bit and 16bit hits of the 90s, but it’s being developed with the modern player in mind. Tons of great animation, hand-drawn backgrounds, variety of in-game situations and powerful soundtrack!
It’s the year 1984 and you control Agent Red (or just Red), a soviet KGB officer who has been sent to the West on a secret mission. She is an attractive but brutal and cold-hearted girl! Over the course of the game she learns to understand her own emotions and the unfamiliar world around her.

Okay so this is gonna be a fair review. First i’m going to list a few things to keep in mind about this game that some of the reviewers fail to realize about this Aeternoblade game. keep in mind that this game came out 10 years ago in 2010 on Nintendo 3DS so graphics are aged and gameplay is kinda faulty as well. there are features that will make you think its a bug for instant death but not really because its a mechanic used to defeat a specific enemy that appears later in the game. Overall I think the game is decent for its time and i do recommend if you like metroidvania style games. just dont expect it to be like bloodstained or anything like that. sound track is pretty goof and the abilities you get really help you in the game since you don’t have a difficult select option. exploration is key to becoming OP in the game. i found myself dying a lot since i didn’t explore like how i was suppose to. I do advise that any new player explore the game before they fight the boss. i wont. say anymore just a heads up.

Elsinore
I checked “received product for free” even though I wasn’t necessarily given the game code/some sort of endorsement thing. I managed to get Winter Sale 2019 Discount Coupon, and used it on this game, so I basically spent less than 1 dollar for this game, which might still cause me to view this game slightly favorably.
A work of art, best experienced as intended… but many regret how it’s intended to be experienced.
The review is shorter than what I want to tell to potential new players(what I want to tell is part of the final Con actually), so here goes, my short (+)pros and (-)cons review:

This is my dream game.
There’s been quite a few gimmicky ways in which time-loop games have been designed. Some use knowledge checkpoints. Some allow you to bring stuff or special abilities with you back in time. Some trap you until you successfully change the fate of someone about to die. Some allow you to explore separate scripted branching paths in the story.
Elsinore does not use a gimmick. It’s a fully-developed sandbox game filled with meaningful details spawning four in-game days. Everything in the game is trigger-based. You can talk about any known in-game event to anyone anytime, and it may trigger a chain reaction that will completely change the story from that point on in surprising ways, or simply create an interesting side-story that doesn’t affect the grand scheme of things. Considering that the default story in the game is the tragedy of Shakespeare’s Hamlet retold in modern English, and that attempts to alter it may cause even bigger issues, it is a delightful world to explore.

Rosemary’s Fate Life Worth Living
I have been asked to play and review this game. I have to say I really enjoyed Rosemary’s fate. It is an audio-based game that has practically no visuals/graphics.
You really have to listen to what sounds you need to follow to reach your goal. You have to use your spatial awareness to sense where and what direction you need to go. I used headphones and I would recommend if you were to play this.
Like most games I did find Rosemary’s Fate quite challenging as it can be frustrating when you feel you have tried every avenue however when you finally find it there is a sense of accomplishment.

I bought out of curiosity how to play audio games. Surprised.
First, the atmosphere of the game. I did not expect that you can achieve so much with sounds. I even
forgive the creators for the voice actors. They could be better, but the other sounds and music are
really good.
Second, the story. At the beginning, mysterious voices, teleport and the like. But then the story gets
less and less obvious. I can already see several possible endings to this adventure. But I’m not sure
about any of them. And for that a big plus for the creators.

Timeless Dual
Timeless Dual is a retro style action adventure, open world game. Play as a super hero who is on a quest through time to save a group of high school students who have flung themselves throughout history! The world of the game changes as the player travels through seven time periods, collecting currency and upgrades and defeating enemies!
Time Machine VR
This game has been a fantastic introction for me to VR and i am becoming quite a proficiant mini sub pilot. The VR graphics are amazing, a real sense of actually being there with all the vulnerability that would accompany that.
It can also be a great tool for people who suffer from a fear of heights and want a program that de sensitises them.I have discovered that the Time Machine VR game is great for getting the old acrophobia going. When you are at the base station which is sometime in the future there is a building made from steel girders etc with towers supporting satelite dishes. Land the pod at the front or back of the building then get out of the pod by simply standing up ( for this game you are seated) then take a step forward. From then on it feels like you are standing outside. Then using the controls on the X Box controller move straight up slowly to the roof of the building, it feels like you are on an elevator platform and totally exposed. If you have a fear of heights i guarantee this will get your palms sweating. When you are on the roof do a simulated walk around the perimeter of the building and if you dare have a look down. I could hardly do it to start with and the feeling i get is exactly the same as if i was really on top of a building. Iv just tried it today and i am just starting to get used to the feeling. I am going to do this for around one hour per day then when i can eventually do it without fear i will put the de sensitisation theory to the test by walking around somewher high in the real world.

I read a lot of whines about this game and so didn’t buy it until there was a fairly low sale price. The Quest 2 support is non-existent; you have to use Emulate Gamepad to play at all. So that’s a strike against it. OTOH, I found I liked it much better than the reviews led me to expect.
I’m a sucker for underwater exploration, and the water model is not bad (the surface high above is quite realistic, “blue gloom” lighting is nice, etc). The world could be a little more richly dressed (more marine plants for example) but rock formations are quite nice and the playing areas, if a little small, are pleasingly complex. It’s an environment that’s fun to visit and just loaf around in.
