FREEDOM: Hunt Kill Fly

FREEDOM: Hunt Kill Fly

I was finally able to find fishes near the rocks (4 set of semi submerged rocks) near the edge of the lake.

You must fly low and slow.

Come back in a hurry to nest, but eventually death bar will end process way too early.

By the way, the fishes on that spot are big, and plenty adequate for a meal to eaglettes.

They should not be already starving with such a generous quantities of food.

But that timer from hell does not think so.

Flying through the floating stars benefit no one.

You must collect a number of them, but impossible to do since timer shoots you out of the sky.

To be clear…I would recommend the game for under a $, like I paid and under the hopes that the Game goes anywhere. I would like to see better controls. Currently the right stick is used for speed and I would rather the triggers. I would also like to be able to look around while flying. The Demo is also incredibly short.

A Forever Solitude

A Forever Solitude

An emotional and psychological story of survival, fear, solitude, love, life and purpose. Solve puzzles, unlock mysteries, and determine your fate. Played in the Third Person in a Zero-G environment. With a cinematic score. High quality voice acting. A story over 10 years in the making. From solo developer, David Fazzio.

This game builds upon the success of David’s debut game, The Companion . This game has a strong focus on Story and Narrative and is accompanied with striking visuals and artistic style. This follow-up game will layer in more gameplay components such as puzzles, mystery and survival. Play in a brutal, yet beautiful, sci-fi environment.

  • A game of survival, and the will to survive.

  • A branching storyline that can change based on previous decisions.

  • Solve puzzles and unravel mysteries.

  • A Punishing environment with numerous death scenarios.

  • Featuring a beautiful soundtrack and high quality voice acting

  • Zero-G movement.

In search for the next hospitable planet, a group of humans embark on a 200 year voyage to another galaxy. Their bodies rest in stasis as the AI controlled vessel makes its long journey. During the voyage the vessel is struck by debris.

There is catastrophic damage to the vessel. The areas hit are sealed off and the vessel continues onward. However, the full effects of the devastation have not yet been fully realized.

Years later your cryo-chamber succumbs and you are jolted awake from your stasis. You are injured, cold, and alone. You have been awakened… A lifetime too soon.

Can you survive? Will you?

The content and trailer currently displayed have been through 5 months of solo development. This story was conjured up over 10 years ago as a potential short film project. Transitioning this story into a game only made sense and will allow for much more freedom. I am excited to explore Zero-G movement, the sci-fi genre, and space environments.

With the recent advances in technology, now independent and solo developers have so much more resources and power at their disposal. I feel confident I can output a very high quality product to accompany this story. In the past year we’ve been introduced to Unreal Engine 5 and Metahumans, both technologies I intend to take full advantage of.

My first game, The Companion, took 10 months of development. I intend for this project to take a bit longer to develop. This project has many more demands that will elongate development. I will strive to release development updates throughout the duration of this project. Stay updated by joining my Discord and following my other social media channels.

If you made it this far, Thank you 3

Near Death

Near Death

Near Death is by a San Francisco company Orthogonal Games http://www.orthogonalgames.com/press/index.php or more precise Kent Hudson who works for Ubisoft Toronto and has up to a decade of Game Design and Game Director experience up his sleeve. Orthogonal is his personal side company and with it, has so far produced 2 games ‘The Novelist’ and this one. Unfortunately, a while ago he reported to a fan that he has no personal plans of creating a third indie game simply due to the amount of time consumption it takes to create something which he would be proud of. In all honesty, I hope this anti-stance eventually caves. A good creator must create, must inspire, must bring into existence and Kent Hudson just has the magic vision to be able to create an exceptional experience.

Briefly: An intense survival story game surprises with its simplicity and shows that it doesn’t need a monster to maintain suspension.

There was a sharp contrast with the weather in-game and IRL when I first played Near Death: I mean, in the middle of the Finnish summer, short as it is, I was hot while in-game I was freezing at below 80 degrees C temperatures and fighting for my life.

Near Death is a convoluted experience. It’s a survival story about not freezing to death. It’s also got simple crafting mechanics and some exploration aspects.

JOGADO TOTALMENTE NO LINUX - PLAYED COMPLETELY ON LINUX

======================================

Árida is a very regionalist game about the worst period of drought in northeastern Brazil in the region known as “Caatinga” (blacklands). It is a short semi-linear exploration and survival game, with cartoonish aesthetics that resemble drawings from that place and age (“literatura de cordel”) in sharp contrast against the looming sense of dread that permeates the entire game - you see death everywhere, the Sun quickly exhausts your thirst and hunger bars, specially at noon.

Red Horizon

Such a great pick-up-and-play roguelike

Different to any of the games I’ve played, more like an amalgamation of a lot of ideas and games - really like the auto-shoot mechanic, makes it more about timing and skill no matter what power-ups you get (can’t just tank through to the end!)

Decent difficulty levelling system, took me about 4 hours to even realise there was a boss….. and when I did, woah boy did I suck

Awesome (and hysterical) graphics and wicked chiptune theme.

Got the game for free to beta test, but really appreciate the work so bought it once it was released.

I was gifted this game so I can’t complain too much about the game. The game has few options for controls which may be an issue if you prefer using Arrows. When you kill enemies they say silly cuss words and overall the game has no depth or story besides shoot until you die. It is insanely hard to beat the game and I mainly play this game waiting between online classes. If this is someone’s first game being made I would say it is alright but this is not really much of a game.

Bermuda - Lost Survival

Bermuda - Lost Survival

ZERO CONTENT + EXSTREMELY POOR BUILDING MECHANICS.

This you need to know so the game have about zero bug and “100% Zero Contents Still After 4 Year” so basically this game is not even worth 1 dollar or 1 cent and i gonna explain why.

– I play this game 4 year ago and after one to two hour i was able to build a dock and travel to the content who is " ONLY" two island where one of them only have alien + some plank and stone and the other island have iron who you really don’t need at this game stage but it is nice to take those last few research upgrad if you wanna spend “1 more minute” on this game and at this stage you have play max 4 hour and doing everything who is possible in this game if you persevere because of the lack on the contents and that was 4 years ago.

Real player with 79.5 hrs in game

There is an enjoyable experience to be had, but I would not recommend supporting this project based on the following three points.

“The game leaves Early Access in August 2020.”

“We’re excited to announce Bermuda - Lost Survival is going full release this summer!”

““All gameplay elements and mechanics are in place. We’re currently adding additional sandbox content.”

Now, the above quotes are directly from the developers. None of them are true. We are currently in Autumn 2020, and obviously August has already flown past. They haven’t updated this game in 12 months. Not that I’d normally mind, but there is one key point to be made here. In their own words, all they need to add is sandbox content. A statement that I STRONGLY disagree with, as based on my own personal experience and the opinion of others? This game is not ready.

Crisp Cube

Crisp Cube

Crisp Cube does an amazing job at taking the gameplay elements of its inspiration (Intelligent Qube for PS1) and building on them in a way that truly makes it their own and worthy of being called a spiritual successor to Intelligent Qube in as early as the second world.

The game is easy to learn, but difficult to master; and by “difficult to master”, I mean that some of the late game levels, such as 3-6 and onward, can be downright frustrating to earn a Crisp Completion on as I’ve spent over 20 hours Crisp Completing the entire game during my first playthrough.

! However, there’s no point in driving yourself insane over it unless you care about Achievements, since there’s nothing more to unlock after World 4. Crisp Completing all 35 levels earns you absolutely nothing more than bragging rights. Despite my frustrations with attempting to Crisp Complete the later levels, it was the satisfaction of overcoming these difficult levels that ultimately kept me coming back for more until I Crisp Completed the entire game. On the other side of the same coin, a casual playthrough that decides that earning a Crisp Completion isn’t worth the effort it entails and simply attempts to beat the levels and nothing more will only take about 3 hours, give or take an hour; which may be a little too light on content to justify the full price point for casual players.
