Most of the negative reviews are due to controller problems. As for me, my controller was fine. Every button functions as it should be. Though the movements/actions of the character is not too fluid, I still highly recommend people play this game!

I played for 30 minutes, and so far I enjoy this game! It’s FREE, graphics are good, and has a story. Judging from the number of pearls / constellations to collect, I think this game might take a good 5 hours to finish. I’ll update my review as I progress. But for now, 9/10

Bombing Quest
First of all the game keeps the good old bomberman feeling when you’re in the battle. Great work, guys. Having that with the amazing, mystical atmosphere, the RPG elements and the funny side kick in an epic storyline is something that needs to be played. Everything in the ancient conflict has its reasons, and in the end it’s hard to choose a side to like more. Intensity and tons of bombs during battle. Mystical areas and strange, and interesting characters when walking the world. There are some minor stuff, that need more polish, but nothing, related to the gameplay. I expected the game to be good, but the result impressed me, it really rocks!

Full disclosure: I discovered the game through a streamer, then found the Discord of the devs and was lucky enough to receive a key for it. I am now the community manager for the game. That’s how much I liked it :)
Bombing Quest is really a game that I did not know I needed. I have fond memories of playing older Bomberman games and I can’t say that I once thought it needed to be made into an rpg, but now that I know it exists, I wouldn’t want to live without it!
The game is still in EA, and although the community on the Discord is still small, the devs are there every day and are available to chat. They really take into account community feedback. I hope this review is going to get more people to join the Discord and offer more feedback so that we can help make this the best game it can ever be!

Wells
A slightly broken run and gun game set in the steampunk world, but does it have potential? Yes it does, the game itself is a lot of fun, but infuriating when it doesn’t work like it’s meant to be, sometimes your character just spasms out, and seems to be immortal at others.
The world you’re in is amazing drawn, with high attention to detail and graphics, I love the steampunk theme, it gives it a lovely vibe, the controls freeze at times but mostly they’re smooth and responsive.
I’d advise you to wait on this game a bit till it gets fixed, otherwise this could be a wonderful game.

Wells feels like maybe someone’s first or second commercial game. It aims to run at 60 FPS but drops frames pretty regularly (maybe 58 FPS if you average it out, it can be adjusted to) the voice acting was clearly all done by one person just to have it in the game, and the last cutscene mentions an artifact that we never see before then. All told though? The weapons all have different uses for both combat and progression (and it’s not just pistol/shotgun/rifle either, there are some surprises in there,) the art direction is really nice from start to finish, and some of the boss fights are really quite memorable.

Vertiginous Golf
This game is really pretty cool. It’s a minigolf game with a really cool fantasy-esque atmosphere and neat little contraptions all over. You build up power with swings and can use either a rewind button or a little jet thingie on your ball to move it slightly where you want. At first it seems like rewind is incredibly OP but the game gets fairly challenging and fairly fast. To the point it might even get a bit frustrating to some people. Luckily I was playing it with my girlfriend so I did honestly have a good time watch us both screw up a few times. The game’s got pretty good graphics and a neat art style and is surprisingly not too computer intensive too.

The Good
Vertignious Golf is a gorgeous game, both conceptually and stylistically. The game controls aren’t difficult to grasp, the music and sounds are well designed, and the interface is nice and clean, not interfering with the graphics – did I mention they were gorgeous? Oh, yes, I did.
The hummingbird and rewind features are welcome additions to the basic gameplay of minigolf. In fact, given the complexity of some of the holes, they’re requirements. The availability of a wedge in addition to a putter is welcome, adding a level of strategy absent in other minigolf games.

SteamWorld Dig 2
SteamWorld Dig 2 – Coming home after more than four years of being lost in the dark feels far better than expected..
With SteamWorld Dig 2 Image & Form has proven once more that they are currently on top of their game.
Straight from the first moment that i had spent with SteamWorld Dig 2 everything in the Game was at the right place and the Gameplay felt so perfectly streamlined that the first two hours of the Game went in a blink of an eye past through me without even realizing how long I had already spent with the Game.

Thanks to the developer and publisher of Steamworld Dig 2, Image & Form, for creating an excellent game for me to escape, explore and enjoy.
The first games on PC in the Steamworld series, Dig and Heist, were pretty good but like all good developers Image & Form doesn’t reinvent the series but they made a good series into a great one by making it better in every way. Steamworld Dig 2 is a beautiful, addicting, polished and most importantly fun game that is easily one of the best games of the year.

Syberia 3
This is my first review of a Steam game.
I thought it only right to wait until I’d actually completed Syberia 3 to give it a fair review. In common with many others I had been waiting a long time for this game to be released, after playing Syberia and Syberia 2 more than once. I thought the overall experience was positive, despite the graphical glitches, control issues and overlong loading screen times which I’m sure could be rectified by future patching. The last time I read similar criticism (with similar vitriol) of a video game was for Assassin’s Creed Unity. (Having played ACU myself I can now see a lot of it was justified.)

This game is just must not be played by anyone. And here I will try to describe why. Microids, please read this text below.
First – the game look. Many critics are saying that it is an industry trends to make game in 3D in 2017. And maybe Microids really thought so while making this game. But guys, this is bull shit! Take a look at Inside, Unravel, Little Nightmares. These products prove that it is possible to develop astonishing games in 2,5D with good selling indicators in 2017. Syberia in 3D became non-point-and-click game anymore. Movement mechanics now require controller or WASD, and their support is implemented very poorly. But I’ll return to this topic a little bit later.

Heart of Smoke
Edit: Developer fixed the issue i had and now i can actually get through the game. Its not to bad of a game…. The controls are a little different from what i am used in platformers. But despite that its a decent game.

At first, the game seems easy. You see all this pleasing art and the happy and joy everywhere scenario but after you pass a couple of levels you realize that it’s actually not that easy.
Let’s start with the vibe the game gives off the first time you tread through it’s doors.
The main story starts by introducing you to the two main characters who you will control called Eneen, who is a wizard, and Rae, who’s a badass ninja.
You can play with both characters at the same time and in some levels, you will really need to use them both to successfully pass through each and every obstacle.

SteamWorld Dig
NIce little exploration game. If you want to something in between some huge games, that can be finished in some evenings, this is great.

Im gonna be real, i bought this game for like $2.49 …less than a big mac on doordash. And i had a blast…this game is pretty cool and fun. The only downside is that it’s really, really short.
All the powerups and tools feel real nice to the touch …relax.
I do recommend, this game, it certainly beats out a lot of $60 titles right now. Alright i’ll see u fellas in the ground, digging, mining for fake ass fugazzi diamonds. Im out

The Bolt Age
It has some great aesthetics and a nice story, but the game needs to be polished, I will return to this review at a later date, after some updates have been made to remove the bugged enemies, which can spawn in walls, be unable to die, be invisible and there are issues with an inability to change weapons at time.
Pros
Good Aesthetics
Nice Story
Great Graphics
Smooth animation for the electricity
Level design is decent
cons
It is just way to buggy at the minute to be playable, WITH UPDATES this will be a very PROMISING GAME but it just needs some fixes to make it playable.

I was excited to try this game out as from the trailer it looked like a game a really enjoyed in my childhood.
It did turn out to feel that way, the visuals were pretty cool and the weapons felt exciting to use. Unfortunately my laptop has served it’s time and can’t handle this game’s VFX so I’ll pick it up again when I get a new rig.

AIRHEART - Tales of broken Wings
On a flight
Airheart is the story of Amelia, a young pilot and fisher woman who lives in a world among the clouds, Amelia fishes through dangerous skies collecting scrap in order to upgrade her plane and avoiding pirates all in the hope of one day making the catch of a lifetime and you are tasked with guiding Amelia on her journey.
That’s really as deep as the game got in the time that I spent with it but that’s all you really need to keep motivated in order to move forward within the game.

In A Nutshell
Airheart is a roguelike shooter telling the story of Amelia, a young pilot with the objective of reaching the stratosphere to capture a legendary whale, and honor the inheritance received by her father.
The game world is made of several layers, and your home, Granaria, will be on the lowest one. From there, with your at first weak plane, you will need to go around each layer, catching fish to make money, avoiding or destroying progressively stronger enemies on each level, find the elevator platforms to reach the next layer, and also eventually find secret components hidden in boxes around the various floating islands. Each four levels, you will meet a Boss, then once defeated, transition to a new biome, with a different season and appearance to it, different fish, enemy types, and dangers.
