KEEPER- the hunter of insects
Fun game to pass some time. Don’t expect any depth however, but then it’s only 0.99 cents. I have already gotten my moneys worth out of it.

Just barely qualifies as a game
Pros:
-
The “game” starts
-
Did not crash once during playthrough
Cons:
-
No options
-
No auto-reload (have to move your hand from arrow keys to “R” key every time you want to reload)
-
There are only two enemies
-
Upgrades cost way too much and the menu is not intuitive
-
Steam overlay does not work
-
Save locations poorly placed
-
Bad weapon variety
-
No story line, mission or objective
Overall: I’d recommend AGAINST buying this game, as it should not even be on Steam (Yes it’s that terrible). If anything this game only sets the bar lower for other new games.

The last earth man
In 2XXX, a strange virus suddenly appeared on the earth. It only infects humans. The infected person’s body will slowly weaken and then die within a few weeks. The infectivity of this virus is extremely terrible, and human beings cannot avoid being infected by any means. When the whole world was in despair, a Arcturian named bill came to earth and declared that he was willing to help treat the virus. People on earth thought they had met a Savior and fully cooperated with Bill’s treatment. However, the treatment had no effect. Soon, human beings became extinct. Bill holds the gene bank of all mankind, so he continues to clone humans to study the treatment of the virus. In one experiment, due to a coincidence that the probability was infinitely close to zero, the virus on a human clone was removed and had immunity to the virus. Bill told the human that the coincidence could not be copied. If you want to revive other humans, you can only go to the source of the virus: Sirius. So, the last earthman drove the mecha provided by bill to Sirius. But waiting for him is a conspiracy

CONTRA: ROGUE CORPS
MOST IMPORTANT REVIEW OF THIS GAME (please upvote to stop the ‘Negative’ REVIEW BOMBING GOING ON !!) –-
(Short Version – This game is like Warhammer 40 000k: Kill Team (which is an awesome game) and -Also- has many cool and important features such as upgradability, customization to your guy and also your guns, ability to purchase new guns, different characters, solo and online coop+pvp, different types of missions, etc etc
BUT – it’s getting negative ‘review-bombed’ because people aren’t bothering to turn down and/or adjust their settings and realize the game actually runs fine on lower settings (also there are guides for specific changes on Nvidia or AMD etc),

*Through a recent update, weapon cooldown has been drastically improved.
For example, while swapping weapons, a primary gun will be ready to go
by the time a secondary’s clip is empty, while that one will already be
recharged half way through the main’s clip. A welcome change.
It can be looped for an endless stream of bullets, making it more “Contra”.
(Run and gun as it should be, rather than run for your life, previously.)

Doughlings: Invasion
If you grew up with arcade games like me, you must play this game definitely. I have played it since closed beta for 35 hours. After break for a couple weeks it is still very fun to battle against unique bosses and invaders. Good job guys. I’m looking forward to your next game.

Modern Space Invaders with better story, cuter graphics and more tactical gameplay.

RICO: London
Rico 2 is a sequel to the first Rico that not a lot of people played, but the ones who did, did mostly enjoy. The game for me was and still is pretty fun for what it is and i do recommend it, despite a few problems that it carries.
In terms of story, it’s just like the first game (which means: SKIP). I like the art style, i think that real XIII style graphics (Cell shaded) are not used enough and i find it charming in this game, which also has a bigger verity of environments and a bigger attention to detail. sound design is nothing special, does what it needs to but nothing memorable.

RICO 2: London has an amazing art style, a classic rogue cop premise and good voice acting. All of that is weighed down to its death by a boring loop system, the same soundtrack played over and over and over again, a needlessly complicated weapon system and enemies who are laughably bullet spongey for zero reason.
Don’t buy this game.

Star Aegis
This game is different, because you don’t shoot, but use the shield to reflect the bullets to destroy the enemies. I liked very much.

Space Invaders had a child, and it’s into metal!
Simple yet great game. I’m not sure if it was the actual game mechanics, the soundtrack or both, but I felt a rush of adrenaline playing it. And I’m usually not into shooters.
Definitely worth giving a try!

The Undisputables : Online Multiplayer Shooter
Very good game. I really appreciated the cartoon atmosphere which gave it a very original touch. Also online matches are especially fun, you never get bored. I highly recommend it

Interesting third Person Shooter in cartoonish style and very casual for any players. It has potential.
However, I have some remarks and I hope that the developer will take consideration:
-There is a slight input lag while using keyboard and mouse that needs to fixed as soon as possible.
-The game seems locked to 60hz while using my 165hz monitor. “unlimited FPS” and “Vsync” for non-Freesync/Fsync users are a must to be included in graphic settings.
-Perks like in COD games would be interesting to be included.

Pulstar
Pulstar, with its intriguing choice of colors and the promise of a fast paced shoot em up, has so much wasted potential. The game is basic, almost barebone, which is fine for me and many others. However, it suffers from two major issues: horrible contrast and jerky movement controls. The game starts out easy but soon becomes overwhelming with continuous waves of enemies. Pulstar’s replayability stems from the single and multiplayer world ranking that it offers. In the advanced wave stages, it becomes unnecessarily difficult to identify enemy elements due to the overdone graphics saturation. Additionally, you won’t be able to adjust the jerky movements which makes advancing in this game more of a matter of luck than skill. Finally, the multiplayer option is limited to local co-op with no online functionality. The developers have decided to keep the game as is which is truly a shame.

Pulstar is a colorful top down shoot’em’up. I found myself enjoying this game for it’s interesting design and immense challenge. Containing only 3 types of enemies, I thought this game was easy, that was before I made it past the 3 minute mark. Playing for the high score and my spot on the leaderboard, I got all the way to 119th before getting burnt out due to the game’s difficulty and RNG mechanics.
~Mechanics~
The games mechanics goes everywhere from RNG enemy spawning, RNG powerup spawning, RNG score multiplier spawing to acceleration in movement. When you first open up the game it reminds you of a normal top down shoot’em’up. The first thing you find odd is the movement, that is because there is acceleration on the player model itself, making it nearly impossible to stop when you let go of the keys. But the acceleration is a constant and is very easy to learn after about 15-20 minutes of practicing. The points system works by adding 1 point per kill to your unit destroyed reward counter that adds to your total every kill you achieve. It’s a bit difficult to explain in text, but essentially the first kill you get +1 to your total points, the second kill you get +2 points, so on and so forth. The points increment also resets when you get hit and lose a life, so if you got a kill worth 45 points and got hit, your next kill would be worth 1 point to your total. Every now and then an enemy will drop a +10 kill worth token which increases the points per kill by 10. Much rarer is the life saving CLEAR SCREEN token, which when you pick up, kills everything on screen, visible and offscreen, this process adds to your total per enemy killed, so if you get 50 kills you will get the kill worth value up 50 and get the amount of points relative to the kills as if you got them one at a time. The one power up you get to control when to use is the time slow device, this device has saved my life multiple times and has allowed me to bob and weave through enemies to get the screen clearing token. The one thing I found the game was missing is a crosshair, I kept losing track of my tiny mouse pointer that blended with the background at times.
