Zoological Era II
I don’t make reviews.
But this fucking game had me on the verge of depression and full melancholy at times and then smiling ear to ear, happy to realise how hopeful and humble life really is.
This game manages to make a masterful and deeply personal story about going through a downward spiral in your life, full of gut-wrenching sorrow and pain. While that’s an achievement on it’s own, I truly appreciate that this game also encapsulates finding light at the end of the tunnel, getting back on your own feet and finding hope in even the smallest victories.

Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon
A very fun game for PvP Players.
The units look cute, but don’t get it wrong, the PvP game is pretty hardcore with lots of ingenious tactics.
After like 150 matchups, I’m still adjusting strategies and tactics against different factions as there’re so many tricks on timeing, using physics and unit/skill combinations.
There’re lots of funny memories during my matchups.
Once I rushed 3 berserkers against Perisa. When them reached the doorstep of the opponent’s base, a Genie came out. Guess what? I bounced the Genie and a soldier behind my berserkers with Thor’s Hammer. Then the berserkers demolished their base, while the Genie was trying his best to reach mine.

A good game that just improved on what the first flash game did.
comparison to swords and soldiers 1 and soldiers 2 shawarmageddon
Swords and Soldiers 1:
3 factions, Aztecs fast and hits hard, Vikings good tough all around, and The Chinese having utility and zen magic.
-9 maps, small medium and big.
-has a campaign, online, vs local, al and challenges
-Gold mines on maps are 3 mines on each side.
cons: the strategy can be buying units in the right order and using spells correctly or just unit spam see who runs out of gold.

Astro Joust
Update: I have found people to play with, and its honestly one of the most fun games on Steam. Its leaps and bounds better then the shit you see on this place. Its simple but hits right at the core of fun. The after death effects are almost more fun than trying to win. Its incredibly clever and the art is fantastic. I really hope the creator makes wallpapers available, otherwise if you screenshot the game during play it makes an instant wallpaper thats super beautiful.
While I really enjoyed the prior games by Mutant Entertainment, this one isn’t as enjoyable. I didn’t realize it was just local multiplayer until I got the game. Because of that, and lack of people to play with locally, I have been unable to even play the game until I find someone.

Astro Joust is simple and delightful. If you have an opportunity just to play some local multiplayer games, you really can’t go wrong with this. It’s not the most exciting or has super refined systems, but it’s a charming game and all elements of it are polished.

A Healer Only Lives Twice
A short and neat game, for its price its doing alright I guess.
Don’t be fooled by my playtime, I kept the game open to get the rest of the cards
In total I think I played this game for a good 5-6 hours to get all achievements.
To explain the mechanics of the game.
Each encounter has enemies sitting in rows, you choose which row to attack with the warrior and he’ll attack in a turn-based matter, as in after all the monsters attacked.
But the main part of this game is the priest ..the healer which is you, you are not bound by turns you can act whenever you want to heal the knight’s limbs, head , torso, hands, legs, if one of them reaches 0 hp they go critical and you lose damage or defense or other stuff, once they all reach 0 you lose the game so you gotta keep healing.

This is an interesting game. Certainly worth the price point.
You play as a healer, trying to keep a warrior alive so you can both get out of a dungeon, and so must fight waves of enemies to get to the end. The gameplay mainly consists of using the right ability in the right circumstance; should you put a wall up so a limb won’t die from that next attack, or just heal? Should you bump up the damage of the warriors next attack? Do you have enough mana stored to use your increase exp ability, so you can level faster and get stronger abilities?

RC Flight Simulator 2020 VR
The video for this game made it look more detailed than it really is, The plane operation and flying is pretty good , but the helicopter and quadcopter flying defintely needs an update to make the movements more fluid, they feel like they are models just moving about in the air and don’t seem to follow any aero dynamics rules and I’ve flown quite a few real ones to know how it should feel. It also give the impression in one video that your place might be up on the frame for erm? modification fixing I guess but nothing like that is possible in the game. You start on the runay so theres no taxi to the runway etc. The jets are pretty slow also so don’t get too exicited waiting to unlock those. Here’s hoping for an update soon and despite the shortfalls I’m a hopeful fan.
– Real player with 3.6 hrs in game
Very enjoyable so far! Always wanted a real RC plane but never had the time but this is a great option. Lots of aircraft to unlock with flight time, can’t wait to get to the jets!
I’m sure the physics can be worked on and I suspect the devs will update in the future. if you’re looking for an ultra realistic sim this might not be for you at the moment so you’d have to pay £100 for RealFlight.
If you’re after a bit of fun, this is excellent!

3on3 FreeStyle: Rebound
Dead game like Freestyle 2: Street Basketball
After a certain level like F2:SB you play with all the higher level players that have all the unlock of most of them. Better abilities skills etc. It is at level 10.
After level 15, you get matched up with max level players, with no near any missed shots
Pay-to-win game, can’t win if you miss events, etc. you will be too far behind.
Too low population will match with higher levels that can always win against you.
Dead game about 100 ish players on steam population.

What a real pity. I had read the reviews before trying the game and I hesitated to try it for quite a while fearing it truly was Pay to Win. But in the end due to a serious lack of street basketball games I surrendered and played the game for about 2 weeks, every day.
Now I know all those reviews were right. The game is ok for the first 10 levels or so. It looks fine despite there’s no full support to controllers. At first, despite the messy UI and bugs the game itself is fun enough for you to start considering investing some money.

Anstorm
If you like simple top-down twin-stick shooters give this one a try. Anstrom seems to be inspired by Ubermosh and TTV and basically offers a mix of both, though it’s not so much hardcore arcade-style. There is a campaign (story mode) with bosses (ans some are pretty good, classic 2d Contra-like). The campaign alternates between arena actions with different objects (clear area, run, survive x seconds, find something, destroy something, and more) and fewer maze levels (TTV-ish with enemies). And then there is Survival mode which comes in two separate flavors, Maze and Arena, that is more arcade.

A very solid 2D-Arcade-Shooter. It has it’s charm even though character movement can lookt a little bit janky. I helped to translate the game so if you don’t understand something it is probably my fault. The dev is open for criticism so if you want to help improve the game just help him out.

Divine Commander
Divine Commander is an Action-RTS designed specifically for controller. By mixing Action elements with Real Time Strategy, players can get the RTS experience on their couch.
Play as a god
You control a powerful Greek god, replacing the mouse cursor from classic RTS games. Travel across the map and destroy anything in your path. Build your base where you want to, and command your units by having them rally to your position. Switch to your commander for surgical precision to quickly and accurately position your units.
Build your base
Expand your influence on the world by building temples, gather resources, and keep your base safe with defenses. Build your military buildings to start raising an army.
Go to war
Command your troops and dash headlong into battle. Ravage your opponent’s temples and claim victory!
Brotherhood United
I had a lot of fun with this one. You could feel the inspiration of classic 2D sidescrollers of the past like MegaMan and Metal Slug in the over all game feel and design. I enjoyed the art style of the game, but could see how it might be a turn off for other gamers. If you’re an achievement chaser, there is a bit of replayability in this one. Otherwise, it’s pretty straightforward in regard to play through time; a few hours of your time will clear the game.

Tunnels of Despair
There are dozens of “small indie walk around in the dark jump scare” games out there and most of them are garbage. Tunnels of Despair does it right. The atmosphere is creepy, the graphics are solid, the music is eerie, and the tension is real - exactly what you want from this kind of game.
The core gameplay is avoiding shambling undead while trying to find the clues and objects you need to escape from an abandoned subway station. A simple premise, but one that works well. After a few horrible deaths you’ll start to think that you have things figured out. Then, the situation gets worse and you go back to being afraid and dying. By the time you finally make it to one of the two exits, you will heave a genuine sigh of relief.
– Real player with 9.5 hrs in game
The idea is nice, but the realization is utter crap. Bugged controls, when you can hit the zombie 30% of time, and sometimes the crowbar simply lags. And that fucking “random” items placement. The developer must stop being an asshole and place the crowbar in one exact spot, or remove it for good. And unkillable enemies which can spot you from a mile distance even without a flashlight or noise. Come on, man, don’t make that “game” even more miserable.
If you bought those horse apples, better return it fast.
