Handball 21
REVIEW + GAMEPLAY VIDEOS
HANDBALL 21 does a brilliant job of recreating the awesome Sport of Handball.
The characters, arenas and animations are almost perfect and Graphically I find Handball 21 pleasing to the eye.
A good match full of end-to-end action can be very rewarding and ultimately the Handball 21 experience has made me aware of and appreciate far more the sport of Handball.
Much of what Handball 21 does is spectacular but the game is unfortunately ruined slightly by the collision and push/trip animations which are unbelievably poor. They fundamentally ruin immersion in what is otherwise a fantastic title.

I need help and the developers dont answer me, if they can´t help me I need the refund of the game because i cant play with this bug. I have a bug in the game, like a goal net at the middle of the screen, and i don´t know how to solve it.
I like too much handball and I hope you fix this problem.

Pixel Cup Soccer - Ultimate Edition
I can see how this game shows quite some good potential for growth. I wasn’t aware that there was a whole Pixel Cup franchise, but it seems my time will be rather appropiately spent with this one as it looks like a considerable better development than the before editions.

-Kick offs are a bit broken, if you align your kick off kick to the middle and shoot at max power, there’s a 90% chance your shot is going to be a goal, weirdly enough, this seems to work better at some stadiums than on others
-AI for defenders is a bit bad, sometimes all your defenders will go up to attack and leave the defense empty for no reason

Lyantei
Lyantei is a casual visual novel from Sweet Slush Games. The main story is about you going to help you’re aunt run a tavern, which has you doing different daily task. The story is a bit weird in places and clearly loses some effect in the translation. I wasn’t impressed by the story as much as the artwork. The story just seems to try too hard and failed to get the effect it wanted with me. With that said you can tell a lot of love went into the game and several of the 6 main characters are interesting enough to keep you going.

Lyantei has a lot of wholesome interactions with its diverse cast of characters. I played through once with the tavern management, and for subsequent playthroughs I just used the story mode. Unlike most VNs that I have read, Lyantei’s story mode lets you explicitly choose which character path(s) to take - a design choice I much prefer over trying to figure out the exact right things to say to unlock a story route. The art, music, and writing are all pretty good. The character interactions are all generally quite wholesome and the story feels quite warm. A very minor issue: a couple of menu prompts weren’t translated from the original German. Lyantei seems to have flown under the radar, and I think it deserves more visibility. I enjoyed it. My time counter got messed up somehow, my actual playtime is about 3.5 hours.

Super Blood Hockey
Super Blood Hockey is an awesome game, Fluid and Simple Controls, Pixel graphics and 4 Player Local coop or versus. It does not take the sport too seriously and there is a lot of blood.
It is a nice take on the classic hockey games of the early 90s. Anything is allowed and getting trough a match without a fight is pretty rare. Players can get injured and wil just bleed oud on the ice, There is even an achievement for it, “One for the dumpster” You can play any game up to 4 players, you can play for the same team, you can play versus or mix and match.

This is the hockey game I’ve been wanting for almost 30 years.
TL;DR: This game is awesome.
This game reminded me of a few different games. Ice Hockey, Blades of Steel, NHLPA ‘93, and NHL Hitz. Coincidentally, most of these have been my go-to games to get my fix of hockey violence. SBH seems to take elements from all of them, make , and then wrap them into one. I revisited and played all of these games plus others to refresh my memory and make these comparisons as accurate as possible.
