MADNESS: Project Nexus
Madness Project Nexus. First of all the obvious. 600+ hours as of writing this you already know I’m going to recommend this game. Here’s why:
Why Reccomend This?
I am one of the original kickstarter backers. I’ve been around since the beginning. So I’ve seen and played this game throughout it’s entire development lifecycle. Throughout it all I’ve seen the game change a lot, from it’s graphical upgrades, to refinement of the mechanics and gameplay design, I’ve played this game through it’s best and worst. And the one thing I can absolutely say is that this is a great game that I’ve had a lot of fun with, and am confident it only gets better from here.

sandford is a massive handsome hunk and i’d smooch on him all day
Jokes aside, I’ll go through the game and what I experienced. I played through Arena mode 2 times and am currently playing as ‘The Massive’, and I’ve beat the base game all on normal, and am yet to play it on tough.
This is my real first review, so i’ll break it into segments. In order, Story, Arena, and Playground. This is the order you SHOULD play the game, or at least in parts.
Story : In the story, you play through a long and grueling journey as Hank and his buds, and you make new friends along the way on your conquest to take down Project Nexus. The story, i binged through and completed in 3 days, but if you take your time, you’ll complete it in a balanced span of time. There are unique, fun to fight factions, many bosses fit for each faction and event, neatly designed levels and segments the game is played through, and many show-casings of scripting, unique weapons, and story building. It’s strong and fun, and satisfying to replay on higher difficulties. The added outfit system to allow you to replay levels with different setups is great fun. Some bits may be found strange or frustrating to fight through, but as me, a medium skill player, I always eventually prevailed. It’s definitely the main focus of the game. I rate it 8.5/10, it satisfied my Madness Combat itch!

Space Elite Force
Summary:
(longer version below)
Space Elite Force is a pretty neat and lite side-shooter, offering some builds/customization and a fair amount of gameplay. It doesn’t come without drawbacks, but they’re minor, so at the end of the day, depending how much you pay for it, you can get a pretty decent local co-op game without regretting it.

Reminescient of games like R-Type and Gradius, this shootem will bring back fond memories. It is a masterpiece and a game done right in this genre. It is 99 cents well spent. I would’ve gladly paid for $5 or more for it. Exceptional development.

Sometimes you unexpectedly find a real gem. This game is such a hidden gem. A small, but very polished game that I never heard of before, but understood in seconds and had fun with immediately!
The premise is simple: Kill your opponents, like in Towerfall or Duck Games. You got only one bullet. After shooting it, you have to retrieve it before you can shoot again. The different levels contain death traps, like spikes or lava. Also each character can choose a super ability, like the possibility to kill opponents by jumping on their heads. You also have a few options to select and gamemodes to choose from - and then the fun starts!

Predator: Hunting Grounds
You can have some great fun but game has share of issues. I played a lot and had fun, but don’t imagine that I will be playing it again anytime soon.

Pros: - respect to source material, soundtrack from orignal movie used along with many other features;
-
good customization options;
-
predator designs mostly interesting;
-
predator weapons are very versatile, so you may vary gameplay on the go
Cons: - too much waiting in the lobbies, even though PS players could chip in;
-
gameplay seem to be unbalanced, predator, especially new paid DLC ones are ridiculously OP;
-
game is very demanding graphically, FPS drops to 30-40 even at my relatively high end machine

Bionic Shield: Battle for Space Nebula Omega
You are the Bionic Shield - humanity’s last hope to survive the Automaton invasion of Space Nebula Omega.
In this 2D twin-stick shooter you navigate your spaceship, engage in epic space battles, discover and invade new planets in your combat suit, using drones, tanks or other vehicles, avoid traps, dodge bullets, customize your weapons and shoot your way through hordes of enemies. The universe is procedurally generated to allow for a different experience every time.
Ironsight
I’d recommend this game to those who have a nish for like classic FPS games like CoD MW since its trait and gameplay experience is something to come onto.
Like ignore the whole “The future of FPS”, it may try to become new with these “Futuristic” drones like the Metal reaper Robot or the Zues space-cannon. but trust me its still classic CoD at heart. and thats what i love about this game, it has its heart out to commend/revive classic CoD gameplay/movement without all those dives and slides.
Now for the Pro’s and cons

Been playing the old Aeria-version and, after its shutdown, this version for quite some time now and feel like giving a proper review.
First and for most Ironsight is not Pay-to-Win as many people claim. Every monetized content is purely cosmetic, no increased stats, no obscure damage increase, no advantage. Simply just looking better most of the times.
The game itself gives of heavy BO2-vibes and feels a lot like it aswell, so please dont expect any CoD gunsmith options where your gun just goes brrrrrrr.

GraveRun
Early access from 2016 so have to assume this is probably all we get. A bit of a shame really as it has a lot going for it. it’s a really fun little twin stick zombie shooter with a bunch of neat mechanics, upgrades and cute pixel graphics. Seems primarily designed for multiplayer/co-op but it’s great fun solo too. Unfortunately probably owing to early access the campaign is pretty short, still pretty fun though.
Some games that don’t get finished you shrug and move on, some are missed that little bit more, this is one of those that had some real promise to it so it’s a shame we didn’t get to see a bit more it even now.

Fun game to kill time, easy to play and get addicted to. Pixelated graphics, smooth gameplay, many different combinations of weapons allows you to regulate the difficulty of playing the game, some are stronger and synergize better with certain weapons. Although coop is recommended, buying the game at full price is not so.
