Drizzlepath
Drizzlepath is a little game of exploration (many would call it a “walking simulator”) completely developed by one single man, Tonguc Bodur. Though that’s by itself an impressive feat, it should not cloud any appreciation, which needs to focus on the merits of the game by itself.
The game may be small, but the world in which you can walk (not run!) around certainly is not. Using the CryEngine, Bodur has created a world of exceptional beauty, with far-reaching views over sea towards towering mountains in the distance. The world feels rather tropical, but not in a lush way: animals are scarce, and the mountains are extremely steep and imposing. Sometimes it felt like I was walking like somewhere in the Andes (the setting of Macchu Picchu came to mind at a certain point), at other moments I felt like being in a completely unreal world out of a fantasy setting. The game allows for a fair amount of exploration off the beaten track (a path one can follow across the land and up to a mountain top), but there are hardly any incentives to do so.

Introduction
Drizzlepath is a flawed game that can still be enjoyed. It’s a walking simulator and the first iteration in a series of Steam projects created by the talented Tonguç Bodur. Yes, a one-man team developing indie games with CryEngine assets. Not an easy task and from what I’ve read in the many negative reviews this game has been receiving, it’s not that rewarding either to have your hard work constantly criticized or mocked by individuals who never created a single thing (digital or not) in their entire lives.

It’s a very short game, but the dialogue in this game made me wish it was longer. Genuinely funny and enjoyable experience.

What’s Your Gender?
This is a lovely, wholesome, informative and short game about gender identity.
The player walks through some kind of museum or art exhibition. As you explore, you come across various terms related to gender identity and expression. From time to time, a pleasant voice will ask questions, like: How do I know what gender I am? Or: What makes me feel euphoric? There is a room, where you can try out different pronouns for youself to experience how you feel when they are used for you.
I recommend playing this game. It’s sweet, fun, wholesome… but also, I recommend forwarding it for educational purposes. I think you can safely recommend it to your friends and family. To people who might have mentioned they’d like to learn more about gender identity.

I’m a genderqueer YouTuber and I highly approve of this game!! This is an amazing first-person experience exploring gender, gender expression, and sexuality. The concepts are really interesting, definitions are clear, and overall the space makes you feel the experience. I played this on my channel, DaintyTank, for Trans Awareness Week as this game is a perfect way to get an introduction to different concepts in gender.
Definitely think it’s worth spending the $2 to support the developers and for you to play this yourself! You can see my playthrough below but this game is much more impactful to play yourself. Love you all and your feelings are valid!

This is what was missing after watching the expance show.
In this space 2D arcade, physics is more realistic than in other serious space simulators
If you are familiar with Newton’s second law, then you should like it.

I am incredibly surprised by how cool this game is.
At first I got pretty annoyed and ALMOST rage quit. Then I thought to myself, “Are you gonna let the game win?!”
I then preceded to beat each level 4 or 5 times, and I’m glad I did.
Between your surroundings, the background, and your ship, there are times I sort of lost perspective. What’s moving? What’s at a stand-still? Am I still moving? Lol, it was great. It almost gives you a bit of perspective into how vast and empty space can be.
The controls are simple and responsive, the HUD is minimal but exactly what you need, the physics of your ship vs everything else with a gravitational pull feels really clean.
