Delta Squad
Delta Squad has nearly been out for a year now and I stumbled upon it while browsing the store pages for smaller games. I was visually attracted to the art style for a top down shooter and thought this was a game I could get my friends into after giving it a quick play through.
Art, Lighting & Rendering 5/5
Loved the appeal of the modeling, colors and textures.
Animation & FX 5/5
Music & Sound 5/5
I loved all the sounds the guns made, when they hit their targets or the environment nearby. I don’t know why but I enjoyed shooting the lamp post just to hear that ping sound. Voice overs took me back to the arcade days.

CONTRA: ROGUE CORPS
MOST IMPORTANT REVIEW OF THIS GAME (please upvote to stop the ‘Negative’ REVIEW BOMBING GOING ON !!) –-
(Short Version – This game is like Warhammer 40 000k: Kill Team (which is an awesome game) and -Also- has many cool and important features such as upgradability, customization to your guy and also your guns, ability to purchase new guns, different characters, solo and online coop+pvp, different types of missions, etc etc
BUT – it’s getting negative ‘review-bombed’ because people aren’t bothering to turn down and/or adjust their settings and realize the game actually runs fine on lower settings (also there are guides for specific changes on Nvidia or AMD etc),

*Through a recent update, weapon cooldown has been drastically improved.
For example, while swapping weapons, a primary gun will be ready to go
by the time a secondary’s clip is empty, while that one will already be
recharged half way through the main’s clip. A welcome change.
It can be looped for an endless stream of bullets, making it more “Contra”.
(Run and gun as it should be, rather than run for your life, previously.)

Mage Fort
This is a challenging and fun little game! I love the diversity between characters, and the different playstyles. The spells are pretty intuative, and it definitely plays well with a controller. There are also some very different challenges between the maps that make each unique. Co-op is pretty simple to jump right into, and highly encouraged! It’s definitely possible to go solo in this game, but it’s more fun to play with help. Haven’t really mentioned yet, but there’s also a nice simplicity of style in this game. It’s a combination you don’t see a lot in games: challenging, fun, simple. This makes it a good pickup for all ages, and definitely playable for most.

This game is a hoot! Me and my two daughters play it all the time. The controls are easy, the interface is polished and it is a fun game. Recommended for pretty much all ages!

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
Completing the master course challenges took years off my life.
Completing the monkey golf challenges took even more years off my life.
10/10 would throw controller again.

Everything about this game makes it the perfect remake except for a few things such as the physics, not great UI, and some lackluster production value here and there. Those are, however, only slight negatives in the grand view of things as playing this game is a blast and there’s enough fun and exciting content here to last many hours.

The last earth man
In 2XXX, a strange virus suddenly appeared on the earth. It only infects humans. The infected person’s body will slowly weaken and then die within a few weeks. The infectivity of this virus is extremely terrible, and human beings cannot avoid being infected by any means. When the whole world was in despair, a Arcturian named bill came to earth and declared that he was willing to help treat the virus. People on earth thought they had met a Savior and fully cooperated with Bill’s treatment. However, the treatment had no effect. Soon, human beings became extinct. Bill holds the gene bank of all mankind, so he continues to clone humans to study the treatment of the virus. In one experiment, due to a coincidence that the probability was infinitely close to zero, the virus on a human clone was removed and had immunity to the virus. Bill told the human that the coincidence could not be copied. If you want to revive other humans, you can only go to the source of the virus: Sirius. So, the last earthman drove the mecha provided by bill to Sirius. But waiting for him is a conspiracy
Theatre of Doom
Bit easy, but pretty fun.
I actually prefer Mouse + Keyboard as opposed to Controller for this.

Graphics
Arguably the weakest aspect of Theatre of Doom. The game itself is far from ugly, but it has the graphical appeal of Path of Exile in its early days. There is much left to be desired, especially after being inundated with well optimized UE4/Unity titles these past couple of years.
