A Hand With Many Fingers
So I was given a key for this game, to create some content. The result of which you can see here: Before you watch, to clarify the video contains SPOILERS however this text review does not.

Firstly the concept of the game is great, I would love to see this adapted to a more conventional case-based system for murders, true crimes, etc. Maybe split into an episodic story etc.
The searching, retrieving boxes, reviewing evidence is interesting although a slightly tiresome mechanic. Thankfully the game isn’t too long, much longer and I would have resented the walking up and downstairs.

I absolutely loved A Hand with Many Fingers.
In my college studies I work under a history professor as a research assistant, focusing on digging through FBI files from the mid 60’s / 70’s (specifically COINTELPRO related documents). Given this context, A Hand with Many Fingers scratches an itch I have only ever really been able to experience while doing actual archival research work. The game is a like a direct injection of the dopamine rush experienced when something finally clicks in your investigation. Leaving out the hours of scanning useless or redacted pages of documentation, this game plays like a highlight reel of those “Ah ha!” moments of coming across something juicy or finally making an important connection that can move your research forward. The use of a conspiracy cork board that you put together over time only goes to make the experience even more satisfying as things fall into place.

Rebellion Gaia
This is the best RPG since final fantasy 7 and it’s genius stepson spiritual successor. Took a solid 70 hours to beat it and I enjoyed every minute. Full of red pills, humor and good storytelling. A gem. A real treasure.

This game is a lot of fun… and quite hilarious. Yes the voice overs are awesome!!! But the references to real life are bang on. I can’t wait to dive deeper into this game as I have only played for a few hours up to this point but trust me, if you like RPGs, this game will hopefully spread some awareness to the unaware and provide knowledge in areas that you may already be familiar with. Plus the proceeds go to a good cause and I will support this crew anytime I can. Thank you for this game!

Intelligence Trader
I’ve been playing this for about 4 hours and I like it so far. It definitely feels like the game is unfinished and there’s more to come, but the basic premise of the game is clear.
Pros:
Fun concept
Interesting story lines and missions
Nice graphics (I like the look of the agent photos)
Clear interface/map
Lots of potential for expansion by tying in the missions completed with the news headlines
Cons:
A little unorganized. You can’t click on an agent placed in country and get information about them. When intel comes in to sell, you have to scroll around to figure out the highest bidder. (easily remedied with an icon indicating high and low price, or maybe highlighting with certain colors to shoe high or low)

Bought it hoping find something similar to Kremlingames products. Unfortunately realised that it’s too early to buy it. Started the game and understand nothing. Russian translation is not finished, in some places in place of words I saw just black strips… Surprise… Cannot return an agent back from a country to base. News are very interesting, but I’d like to see it in a new window. Time moves too slow. There is no explanation what is specialization of agents.
Perhaps it’s only in Russian version, didn’t play English one. Hope to see something remarkable and interesting in future)

Lost Cosmonauts ARG
A short game that involves very basic web searches (most of the time I didn’t even need to read any info on the pages ) in order to answer what amounts to quiz questions. Interesting content but not really much of a game.

I’ll keep the review as short as the game:
There’s not much to this game. It’s a trivia game of sorts, with only 10 questions that don’t change. You’re presented with one riddle-like question at a time (which you must answer in order) where a lot of the challenge is to figure out what the authors are getting at in the first place. All of the questions focus on the Lost Cosmonauts conspiracy (if you’re not familiar with it, look it up). What’s unique is that it’s asking you to leave the game, do research online, and provide the answer based upon your findings. This might be interesting if the answers that the game seeks weren’t so rare, obtuse or redundant (e.g., looking for the name of a lake near some Gagarin tribute site? Well, this could be one of several lakes, depending upon the site…you’ll just have to type in each one until you get the right one).

Introduction
Quite some time has passed since my last review for a title focusing on hacking and other covert activities. It’s a relatively narrow niche, rather than a full-fledged strategic subgenre. In any case, I enjoy such breaks from norm and regard Digital Siege as a slightly more complex tower defense game, to put things into perspective. As in most situations, the best defense can only be offense. Developer Dreambakers had a prolific debut year, as Digital Siege is their sixth consecutive project released in 2018. Just as they describe themselves, I agree on their focus for “experimental games” transcending genre boundries. Intelligence gathering may a pill that’s harder to swallow by some, but it’s a crucial activity nonetheless. As with most “commodities”, what you do with the information afterwards is far more important than stockpiling it, so to speak. Its value never decreases, no matter the parties involved.

Drawn Down
Surprisingly good game, really enjoyed it! Would’ve liked it to be a bit longer, but given the low price it’s hard to complain. Recommended!

I didn’t quite know what to expect when I started the game. I am a sucker for pixel art point and click adventure games. This one is a nice gem of a find. There’s some interesting plot threads, and a good level of interactivity with the various mechanics that do make it feel like there’s more to puzzle solving than just dragging items over others to progress.
The voice acting is also a nice touch but it can be a bit spotty in places.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this game, especially at the price. I’m looking forward to more from the creator.

Undelivered
England, the 1920s. Provincial town called Fate. Bored already? Don’t judge the book by it’s cover!
Plunge into the swirl of events and you’ll realize that Fate is one of the most mysterious and dangerous places you’ve ever heard of!
Where is the local cutie who has suddenly disappeared? What is the doctor’s secret? Is the military test range near the town really dangerous? What are the crazy chemists doing in their laboratories? And what can an ordinary postman do once he suddenly finds himself in the thick of it all?
Undelivered is a detective quest where you have to find the answers to all these questions and decide what to do next!
… It started as a joke or little mischief… Mike, a young postman, learned to open the envelopes so skillfully that no one could ever notice that he reads the letters. At first it was a funny spy game, but then something went wrong. One letter told Mike that the only son of Mrs. Wilson, a lone librarian, had tragically died. Mike decided not to deliver the letter to the poor woman. So Mrs. Wilson didn’t get to know the news. But the postman himself realized that now the fate of the town inhabitants indirectly depends on him…
Mike can’t stop reading the letters, but the more he learns about his neighbors, the stronger he feels that something needs to be done… Because too many dangerous secrets have come out, and now hundreds of people’s lives are at stake.
In this game you will:
-
Watch the life of the city and its inhabitants;
-
Deliver mail and communicate with different people;
-
Solve mysteries and make difficult decisions.
When meeting a “dangerous” letter, you can deliver it to the addressee or not deliver it at your own risk. You can also give it to someone who, in your opinion, will help you deal with the problem mentioned in the letter. However, remember: the road to hell is paved with good intentions!
Alt-Frequencies
I’d give it 10 of 10 - but it deals with some difficult topics, people disappear, are shot without any remorse by police - pretty tough on the youngest generation of players. Excellent spelling and voice quality.
Your’re forced to think. The conspiracy theories by goverment officials denying everything? Young adults can understand the game with some adult guidance.
The game is like an audiobook; with 6 chapters. It’s made in a similar way to visual novels; permitting one of two paths, with pretty good voice actors and music. The achievements 23 vary in difficulty, and yes, can be pretty frustrating at times, simply because you’re forced to actually think a little.

2021 Update: I just wanted to say that after gaining a job in retail and being forced to listen to a radio I think about this game almost every day, which is no small feat for a tiny french indie game. I didn’t understand not only how realistic this game is, but just how bone chilling listening to the radio can be in the world of today. The VA do a brilliant job at capturing the voices on every station. If you’re a nightshift worker or someone who has to listen to the radio a lot. Give this game a shot. It’s got fantasy elements and it’s made me more introspective about my own time spent listening to the radio at work.

Captivity
To who ever made this game: Thank you. Thank you for the creation of this distasterpiece. I no longer have doubts for my own video game that I am creating at this time. I no longer have doubts about the future of my career as a video game designer due to this game being so hilariously bad, so awful, boring, needlessly hard, and unfair. I love this. I love the entertainment I have gotton out of this game. It’s so fascinating that this game was actually created with the same game program I messed around with when I was about 12 years old, First Person Shooter Creator (FPSC). This game has given me and my friends such great laughs, the incompetence is amazing. I absolutely love this game because it’s so far down the barrel it fell through the damn thing.

It’s another one of those “Hey! I can make a ‘game’ with a simple game making program and put it up for money” situation here with Captivity.
Being developed obviously from FPS Creator, there is no effort put in this game whatsoever. There are a lot of instances of loading, which makes the whole thing tedious as anything can be. There’s also a ton of glitches and crashes throughout the game. I came across several during my playthrough.
The game isn’t really fun. The enemies can kill you in one hit and there isn’t much in terms of completing objectives except find keys and unlock doors. There’s also one enemy type and the variety is non-existent. It’s also really hard to see anything due to the graphics used here.

Phantasma VR
Hello Everyone, I just finished this game.
I am glad I finished, If this was a Hard copy of a game I would of put it in a bucket of Gas, and set it a fire.
This was one of the most Aggravating games I have ever played on VR. If I didn’t pay so much for my vive, I would of smashed my Controllers into a wall a long time ago. Not only did I want to get to the next Head banging puzzle so badly, just to stop me from slamming my Headset into the walls, but I wanted to get to the end, to find out what kind of reward I would be greeted with since I went through all of this Madness. There was none, None end line story finish, no what is going to happen to me, NOTHING!!! it just ends…… I am searching for a highlight of my day into the night, back to the day Aggro blast, the only thing I can come up with is standing in front of the hall door listening to the couple Screwing.

I have decided to completley re write my review of Phantasma. when I first played this game I really wanted to love it but to be honest , and this is hard for me to say because I pride myself on my puzzle solving ability and proudly wear the “I solved obduction without cheating” badge. but before some updates and reworking this game had me beyond frustrated. The dev has completely reworked the second puzzle,. the infamous Paris and added a few clever hints in a couple of the other levels now that make this game much more accessible. The puzzles will still challenge you. But every thing you need to solve the puzzles are right there in front of you. you will solve and when you do you will feel pretty damn smart for it. Graphically the game is gorgeous. the sound is great and free locomotion works fantastic. Currently the dev is working on an update to fix the teleport from pushing players back from the edge of tables and the like. That’s another thing. This dev is listening to his customers and has been working like a madman to give us updates and fix anything that may have been over looked in playtesting. You should easily be playing the game for 3 to 5 hours depending on your puzzle logic,. I initially didn’t think there was any replay value but have found myself going through again and just absorbing the atmosphere of the game and feeling the narative. It’s really twisted. this is definitely worth your time and money! we need more interesting titles like this and less wave shooters.
