Assassin’s Creed® Liberation HD
Short Version: A solid 6/10. Not the best the AC franchise has to offer, but I’ve seen worse games.
The Not So Short Version:
Positives:
-
the Bayou area - I could almost smell the swamp.
-
The fabric of New Orleans: this city has character!
-
The three different personas of Aveline. I loved that you get 3 different lives within one game and one character.
-
The story/plot of the game.
-
Sugar cane machete as a weapon. Need I say more?
-
Connor re-appears. It’s always nice to see a familiar face.

I am kind of biased because I love the AC franchise, and how it mixes historical and science fiction with conspiracy theories, and I have been a fan of stealth games since the original Splinter Cell way back when as well as the Prince of Persia franchise, which I’ve played to the point where each new playthrough would be essentially a speed run with some story interruption. It should be taken into account that this is a port of a PS Vita game, so it doesn’t have the depth and breadth of a typical AC entry, but it is still worth the time. So, let’s get down to it:

Eldritch Academy
A nice mild magical girl (without the flashy change scenes or clothes change)
type horror with mild yuri romance. This is the prelude of the Eldritch University VN which is The Girl who got Badly hurt and her girlfriend..
You have the 3 girl endings and a harem and a secret ending, I have the secret and harem to find.
It is a good VN so give it a go.

-
cute yuri game
-
interesting mystic concept
-
a few fun conversations
-
this is NOT a horror or a thriller. there are definitely no scary or tense moments in the game
-
the game is short, but terribly repetitive
-
I expected more from Akomi, almost all her innuendo are dull
This is a cute short game with misleading tags in the annotation. The characters and the story itself lack depth. Even so I enjoy this game. You should give it a chance

HEXCRAFT: Harlequin Fair
Haven’t got very far into it yet. As a fan of Oleander Garden’s other games: The Pagan trilogy, and Hexcraft: Eventide Sigil, I can say with certainty that this is exactly what I expected in the best ways. It feels a bit jank, the graphics are muddy and dated, and it is very frustrating dying with very little warning over and over. It’s part of the experience, however. The game is one big immersive-sim-esque puzzle about working out how to get anything done. Leave your morals at the door, rob some people, and acquire black metal shirts to fight off the horrors lurking in dungeons hidden behind shopping malls and alleyways. It’s a lo-fi game for sure, but the experience is well worth the 13 dollars.

Immersively simulate a nightmare. I instigated a gang war in Chinatown so I could plunder tarot cards from those caught in the crossfire. The victims had recited poetry to me moments before. They knew me by name.
Oleander Garden’s work is consistently haunting, enigmatic, beautiful, infuriating. It’s genuinely fun to bang my head against its walls in an attempt to uncover its secrets. I loved this game.
Given how unfairly obscure it is, you’re lucky enough to have stumbled upon this page, so don’t let the opportunity go to waste. Buy it already.

Night Cascades
Diane Carter never expected her folklore degree to get her a job offer from the local police department, but when a rash of occult-themed fires sets the city on edge, she is called in as a special consultant on esoteric religion to help find the culprit.
There’s just one problem: the woman she’s assigned to work with. She’s cocky, beautiful, and far too familiar.
Can Diane and Jackie overcome the obstacles of their past and find the truth?

Short also Acheivements dont work and nothing unlocks when you finish Blanche.

This feels like a demo to a demo. There is only 7-10 minutes of content and far more locked options than available options. 3 of the Achievements also don’t work/can’t be attempted either. How awful.

Beyond Good and Evil™
About The Game
Beyond Good & Evil, published by Ubisoft in 2003. Where do I start with this game? First off, I want to say that this is a good PC port. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done. I will explain why later. What’s the premise to this game? You play as Jade, a reporter who lives with her pig-uncle Pey’j, taking care of orphans on your lighthouse reservation. In this planet called Hillys, Hillyans fight for survival as evil DomZ, alien-like creatures, take over the planet. A combat force called the Alpha Sections has been sent to fight back the DomZ, but when the Alpha Sections fail to show up during attacks, a suspicious Jade goes undercover for a resistance force called IRIS to see what the Alpha Sections are really up to. Camera in hand, you participate in various undercover missions to expose the Alpha Sections for who they really are.

Beyond good and evil - это классическое игровое приключение, сделанное с душой, во времена когда у юбисофта еще была душа…

Broken Sword 3 - the Sleeping Dragon
Despite the fact that I liked this game, I can’t recommend this game to everyone (again, a ‘Maybe’ or ‘Mixed’ option would be more fitting). The biggest and most noticeable problem is that the game’s controls are not what you think; the point-and-click interface of the previous games is replaced with a weird adventure-game Sims hybrid control scheme, which is something I’ve never seen before. WARNING!!!: I do NOT recommend using the keyboard for this game. Otherwise you’re gonna have a TERRIBLE time and you’ll experience some of the worst controls in gaming history. And this is coming from a person who loves the controls of Fixed-Camera Resident Evil and Tomb Raider 1-6.
– Real player with 12.9 hrs in game
Broken Sword 3 is host to some big problems that unfortunately overshadows a lot of the good aspects of the game.
Just like the previous Broken Sword games, the story is decent though not special. The dialogue and voice acting is definitely one of the strongest aspects of the series, and BS 3 has that too. Most of the puzzles range from okay to pretty interesting.
However, the controls are an unholy collection of awful and rubbish. They suck, they suck in every way possible. Combine the bad controls with the terrible camera and you got a special kind of awful. The camera uses weird angels and it switches them constantly. CONSTANTLY. It jumps back and forth, sometimes as much as five times in a few “meters” of road. It’s enough to make you seasick… and it causes you to run the wrong way since what was one direction a second ago is suddenly the opposite direction or sideways. It also prevents you from seeing the things you wish to see.
