Office Strike War - Multiplayer Battle Royale
This game is great! You can get to kick your office coleagues' asses and not get sued for that :)))
Jokes aside, the gameplay is dynamic, and the leveling up scheme makes you feel edgy, looking for hp and xp. Great idea! Enough of the AAA games crap, this is where gold lies. Can’t wait for it to get popular!

Spies & Soldiers
Spies & Soldiers is a low fantasy strategy game with procedural content and simple mechanics, providing a hit of pure strategy gameplay without the overwhelming complexity often associated with the genre.
The game is a two-player, turn-based digital board game, based on simple mechanics from which complex strategies arise. Each match plays out across a uniquely generated world map, so every game is different.
Key features include:
-
Online head-to-head multiplayer.
-
Simple mechanics and complex strategies.
-
Fast-paced gameplay.
-
Simultaneous turns.
-
Procedural maps.
-
Single player skirmish mode.
Game Mechanics and Strategy
There are two primary systems: military strength and subterfuge. To grow an empire and win, players must carefully balance both elements. Because a fresh map is created for each game, players also need to adapt their strategies to each new world.
Military strength is represented by Soldiers. They are straightforward and effective, relying on strength of numbers, and are used to take control of the castles that are needed to win. Soldiers combine to form armies, and battles are won by the largest army in a region.
Subterfuge is the domain of Spies. They are more complex than Soldiers, dealing with hidden information, surprise and paranoia. Spies are used to take control of cities, which provide the action points needed to power all activities. They can also turn the tide of battle, assassinate other spies, sabotage castle defenses and more. A spy’s effectiveness is determined by its rank, with the most highly ranked spy in a region having the upper hand. Working from the shadows, spies are hidden and can only be seen by an enemy spy of superior rank.

Solid9 and Fatdog thank you so much for allowing me to beta test this game. Lots of patchs and hard work went into the making of this great Indie title
Its not easy. It takes a bit of trial and error to get through each scene. Dont expect to smoke through this game!
Gameplay is turn based and lots of humor along the way as this does have a storyline as well.
I have yet to test multi player but Im looking forward to it.

A solid
! (9 he he) tactical game with a light-hearted setting, pleasant graphics and firm gameplay core.
There are plenty of ways to go through the campaign missions - the achievements are sort of a built-in challenges to find another play style or experiment with the map which is nice.
I have to try out the multiplayer but the campaign alone is decent enough for people who enjoy a turn based not overly-complicated games ;)

Blood Bowl: Chaos Edition
This game falls in one of two categories: You will love it immensely, or you will hate it and wish you never played it.
For starters, it has a tremendously high learning curve. I’ve put my share of time in with both this and the legendary edition and I’m still learning new tactics. Couple that with every single team having their own specific playing style that you need to learn to a certain degree, and you have a death sentence for a new player that isn’t patient enough to actually learn the ins and outs of the game.

You will discover new swear words you never knew you needed.
This game is frustrating. Let me say this right off the bat. It. Is. Frustrating. Between the rather convoluted rules and the insane randomness. This game is a pain to get into., especially if you’re unfamiliar with the table-top or previous incarnations. The tutorial helps a little buut the ingame documentation is done in absurdly fine print and is a pairn to read. this is one of those games where you will do most of your learning via play and by play I mean getting your ass handed to you a few times. Once you do learn…the game becomes deliciously satisfying. Still frustrating as hell but the furstration makes the successes all the more satisfying.. Oh there is nothing so great as tackling a guy on the opposing team and sending him to morgue.

Gremlins, Inc.
I saw adverts of this game while it was still in beta stage. The peculiar character of the graphics made the whole intriguing but I suspended with the purchase till Gremlins, Inc. left pre-release state. Watched some gameplay videos but without sufficient knowledge of the rules I could only tell that the game has really strong influence on the players. In fact only the description of available achievements made me realize the depth of the Gremlins, Inc. and convinced me to add it to my Winter Sale basket.

This is a virtual board game with a strong focus on strategy in a non-deterministic setting, requiring probabilistic reasoning (think of poker).
The game is set in a steampunk society of (genderless) gremlins that see the purpose of their existance in grabbing power and profit by tricking and cheating each other. The design of the game material is in a hand-drawn cartoonesque style and visually appealing. Also the available music kits (to be won as prices in free-to-open chests) are a nice feature.

Koi-Koi Japan [Hanafuda playing cards]
I just plain love it!
Hanafuda is a tough game to describe. When people ask me about it I usually just say “It’s a lot like Go Fish, but with a deck of Japanese flower cards”. This is only partially true, the game is a bit deeper than that, but at it’s core the game mixes chance and strategy into a really fun, really unique match game. The cards, the rules and the scoring can appear daunting at first, but once I got the hang of it (I have some experience with this game elsewhere) it is a really great and unique card game.

I can’t recommend this game at full price. If you have friends to play with, it might be worth buying in a sale.
Koi-koi is a Japanese card-matching game using Hanafuda cards. It requires the players to match same-suit pairs of cards from twelve suits of four cards to produce sets (‘yaku’).
This implementation of koi-koi is very basic. The single-player AI is predictable, and not particularly hard to win against. The single-player mode doesn’t have a lot of replayability value, as it’s just the same game over and over. The single-player DLC requires the player to make certain yaku to progress. Some of these are very rare. While the pictures that you get as a reward are nice, it’s immensely frustrating to be unable to progress until you get an ideal hand.

The Political Machine 2020
I played a few rounds of this game, some multiplayer, some singleplayer. Overall, I really enjoyed this game for what it was worth. The game is charming, in a humorous way. I really enjoyed the ideology system, and how it influences and reshapes the race depending on candidates are in on the race. My friend and I made some custom candidates, did stupid matchups, and we had a lot of fun just pushing the ideologies to their limit. Some of the ideologies, like fascism or giant meteorism, just end up shooting you in the foot, and its amusing to see races devolve into stupid fights between two godawful candidates.

This game needs a LOT of work, and with it now being over six months from launch I doubt that’s happening. It seems more time and resources were put into releasing the “Founding Fathers DLC” then going back and finishing their original broken product.
Perhaps the most glaring issue is that this product seems to have been made purely off some designers intuitive bias rather than any actual polling data. Universal healthcare and universal basic income are unpopular with “independents” but “Build the Wall” is. It also lists Trump’s intelligence as “smart” while Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s intelligence as dim, despite placing second in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair while in High School, being bilingual, and graduating cum laude from Boston University with a bachelors in both international relations and economics. Meanwhile the geniuses that built the game have the same issue “farm subsidies” listed twice in the policy management tab, as well as a few spelling errors.

Sea Battle: Through the Ages
Hello= Only buy this game if you like to play by yourself the online game is none at all =Bye
– Real player with 22.7 hrs in game
The game takes the basic idea of Battleships and expands it to cover three time periods and add tactical options. The graphics are decent and the AI good enough to give an entertaining game.
It falls down a bit on price, the content is not worth £7.19, particulalry as to unlock some of it you have to play an awful lot, and by the time you’ve unclocked it well you could play the game in your sleep.
If you can get the game free or heavilly discounted its worth considering.
