Light Fingers

Light Fingers

Light Fingers is a magical mechanical board game where thieves compete in a test of skills to prove who among them is the most deft! Explore a randomly generated miniature board world that unfolds before you as you roll dice and move around to explore.

Seek out shops where you’ll find cards to buy, special services for hire and chests of loot to plunder. Remember, always shop before you steal!

Raid Dungeons, where coins are a plenty, but deadly hazards are just as numerous. Here you will go up against your rivals who can defend the dungeon operating the traps while you attempt to loot its treasures.

Don’t get caught! Play your hand of cards strategically or buy favors from the local inhabitants to avoid the guards and other players as you work your way back to the thieves hideout.

This was an interesting review to write. On one hand, it’s an extremely fun game to sink a lot of time into. On the other hand, it’s basically a re-release of a game, not a remaster. The game itself when it was released in 2010 was really fun. I really enjoyed it (although I’m still not a huge fan of the very heavy steering that the game supplies) for its really fun gamemodes online, good graphics, great car list, and the really good tactical nature of most of the online stuff. It’s also immensely satisfying when you do get a really good run through a series of corners at top speed and shaving off that extra fraction of a second when grinding for good times on all the single player events. Likewise, it’s also hugely satisfying to release that perfectly timed spike strip to catch one of your enemies off guard, allowing for your teammates to move in to take them out of the game.

For reference, I bought the 2010 “Limited Edition” version of this game’s original release for PS3 pretty much as soon as it was available. I played through all of its DLCs, too. Is this remaster a faithful recreation of everything from that version of the game? Pretty much, yeah.

I understand that a few cars were removed for the remaster. However, from what I’ve read online, the Carbon Motors E7 was removed because Carbon Motors no longer exists as a company, and the two Mercedes SLR McLarens(Mercedes McLaren 722 Edition and Mercedes McLaren Sterling Moss) due to Mercedes selling off their stake in McLaren starting back in 2009 and not completing until 2011(after the original NFS:HP 2010 release).

Detective Holmes: Trap for the Hunter. Hidden objects. 探し物

Detective Holmes: Trap for the Hunter. Hidden objects. 探し物

It’s ok, for the price.

Pros:

It’s got Hidden object scenes, spot the difference scenes and a few match pairs of things scenes, about 31 of them.

Cons:

No voice acting which is shame because it’d be amusing to hear someone try and act out the gibberish lines.

The text is badly translated to the point of mostly being gibberish.

The story is almost non-existant, this game is not ‘story-rich’, even if it was perfectly translated, I get the feeling it still wouldn’t make much sense.

The Game is 100% linear, there is no map, you simply go from scene A to B to C to D etc, but you can revisit previous scenes to improve you score and star rating of one to three stars. The game is easy to get 100% achievements IMO and hints can be used on most scenes without losing achievements.

I love hidden object games; I love Sherlock Holmes games. This game was not enjoyable very long, it got very boring very early on, and I didn’t have a desire to finish it.

First off, it goes straight into the game: no preamble, no cutscene, no opening dialog. Just a bubble of text or three from the 2 main characters (Holmes & Watson) and you’re instantly in the puzzle section. Now, this doesn’t sound like too bad of a thing, but most of these games at least have a few lines of dialog and a custcene to get things started.

Vampire & Monsters: Mystery Hidden Object Games - Puzzle

Vampire & Monsters: Mystery Hidden Object Games - Puzzle

Short version: It’s mostly just HOGs like other Crisp App Studio games, but it is enjoyable enough.

There’s no real story here and no proper ending, this is purely a Hidden Object Game with a few spot the differences thrown in and a handful of rotate the tiles to make the picture (easy). Once you’ve discovered enough of the hidden objects you can choose to try to beat the scene within 2 minutes.

Each scene has a set of objects, each time you play the scene you get given roughly half of those objects to find.

Vampire & Monsters: Hidden Object Games - this is a logical game in the genre and adventure. The interface is very simple and clear, all this is expressed through bright and pleasant colors of shades, the whole game came out very colorful, which gives a big plus to the game. The characters themselves are very well developed and the background music is likewise interesting. Also, they improved the levels by adding in more than double the amount of items to find so if you replayed the level you are still finding new items. There are various tasks in the game: finding objects, finding differences, searching for the same items. At the same time, there are simple tasks, and there are those that you will have to break your head on.I recommend this for some casual, quiet fun with great graphics and objects for a super low price

  • Tear Dropper is hands down the most useless badge in the game

  • Light contested layups are going in at a better rate than open layups

  • Your chances of hitting shots increase as you move further away from the rim

  • Players are being heavily penalized for not being able to time millisecond timing windows on inside shots with multiple animations that trigger randomly

  • Midrange jumpers having a lower timing window than 3pt jumpers

  • The most valuable shot in the game is the most reliable shot, the quickest field goal attempt, and the shot that requires the least amount of space to get off (3ball)

Update: after a bazillion hours in on this game (where I only care about MyCareer mode - looking for some escapist fun) I get my player to level 90. I have maxed out the mid-range dead eye badge and for mysterious reasons, the game now tanks my player performance across the board. It played more fun as a 70 ovr player. I had games scoring 20-30 points with a handsome amount of assists and rebounds but now I can’t sink any shots, no matter how good my look or how full my shot meter. In-game, it never gives me green but I still manage to fill the shot meter damn near perfectly. And even with a character whose supposed to be about as deadly a mid-range shooter as ever existed … I get abso-frickin-lutely nothing. I have never been so angry at a video game as when it turned on me like this. Don’t buy this thing if you thought you’d have fun with MyCareer. It is just awful.
