Fight Crab

Greetings!

It’s Very Good so far.

The best bits:

  • The feel. Bit of an “Armored Core” / Mechwarrior vibe to the control scheme, but with the added tactility of simulated physics

  • The UI. Smacks of Dreamcast-era arcade games

  • Customization. Pick and experiment with favorite strategies and weapons for the crabs you unlock; build their stats as you see fit

  • Co-op. As far as I can tell, your buddy can jump into any part of the campaign, without restrictions, and build up their own crab

I love this game. It’s got a sense of humor about itself; it’s interesting; there’s depth and variety…

I have not had this much fun with a game in years. I’m almost 40 now and most of the wonderment is gone for me with with gaming in general…I bought this for my kid for his birthday and grabbed it for me too, figuring I would sneak an hour in here and there with him–

Well he moved on to a different game near instantly and here I am grinding and looking for time to play this game. I like developing strategies and weird co-op tactics. It’s awesome to be excited to get home from work and actually want to play a game. I haven’t been this obsessed with a game in years. I’m not sure why but I love it.

Gado Fight

Gado Fight

This game is TOO GOOD!!! Crazy that this is a mobile game but it is ported so nice to PC. The combo system is very similar to Blade Strangers but instead getting of less damage for using the same moves in a combo, you cannot use the same attacks in a single juggle. This allows players to get creative in order to do the most damage possible! I will definitely be playing much much MUCH more often!

Real player with 20.0 hrs in game

tl;dr: The gameplay is solid. The UX,Eng translations, and lack of control remapping? Not so much.

A Fighting Gamer’s Perspective:

For context, I like playing fighting games but find the mainstream ones to have too high of a skill floor to have fun with them. I’m not wholly dedicated to them but still enjoy playing matches on occasion. Blasphemy I know.

Impressions:

Gado Fight , from the very short time I’ve played it, seems like an ambitious fighting game. Since it’s a port of a mobile game it has rather simplified base mechanics, with the depth that fgc heads will like. You can look up combo videos and see for yourself. If you like BFTG, or Metal Revolution, you’ll like Gado Fight.

Office Strike War - Multiplayer Battle Royale

This game is great! You can get to kick your office coleagues' asses and not get sued for that :)))

Jokes aside, the gameplay is dynamic, and the leveling up scheme makes you feel edgy, looking for hp and xp. Great idea! Enough of the AAA games crap, this is where gold lies. Can’t wait for it to get popular!

Blaston

Blaston

An intense competitive VR workout game that combines FPS mechanics, with deck building and a hint of fighting game mechanics. In this game you face another live opponent (or bots while you wait for a real opponent), in a 1 vs 1 duel. Guns spawn around your play field. You fire swarms of slow moving bullets at your opponent, while simultaneously dodging their bullets or blocking them. Learn a variety of weapon combos to gain the edge over your opponent. The game is easy to learn, with a high skill ceiling.

This is the best VR game I have ever played. It’s a steal for the price.

Easy to learn, impossible to master, and the most intense workout of any game available.

All of your opponents are human so no two matches are ever the same. There are endless combinations of tactics and you will pick up new ones constantly from your opponents. There’s always a way to best even the seemingly impossible opponents.

Seriously this game will work up a sweat like no other. It is a complete cardio workout program. You will crouch, jump, lean, duck, dodge, and not even realize how hard you’re working out because the matches are so intense.

Cake Bash

Cake Bash

I love this game - it’s cute and fun! You choose between different cakes and their “flavors” and either play by yourself locally, local couch with other people, or online against others in a series of party games to become the “tastiest.” The cakes are so cute and make adorable noises, and it’s hilarious to watch them run and throw punches.

To make things easier, if you want to know how to unlock a certain “flavor,” you can look it up in the “Collection” section of the main menu screen, and it will tell you what requirements you need to make in order to unlock them. No more looking up walkthrough’s on YouTube!

This is absolutely my favorite local multiplayer PC title. It has good controller support for multiple types of controllers at the same time, great games for several styles of competition, cute characters, and smooth easy-to-learn but challenging enough to master gameplay that will make it so your whole family can play, and probably each player will have a few “challenges” they are best in. It’s both cute and funny and a bit brutal, but even as a vegan I can’t feel too bad for desserts knocking each other around. This is a wonderful release that we have been looking forward to for 2+ PAX events and it has totally delivered.

Boreal Blade

Boreal Blade

easily the best melee “fighting”/slasher style pvp game in the vein of jedi knight 2/JA (inc. with mods like MB and OJP/JKE), in my opinion, of all time. whatever genre you want to call it, it’s a coming together of classics like the Jedi Knight series, Die By The Sword, Chivary, Mordhau and to games like Absolver as well to a degree.

To me this game is a beautiful marriage of the elements that made me love “melee slashers” and it’s plagued by none of the issues of other titles. The movement, animation, attacks, attack feedback, abilities and customization are all done beautifully and you can tell what’s going on regardless of how new you are to the game. The controls take a short amount of getting used to, after that it’s incredibly intuitive. It’s an incredible amount of fun to play, shockingly easy to learn and just the right level of hard to master. I haven’t enjoyed being owned by far better opponents or enjoyed owning less skilled players this much possibly ever. It all comes down to the aesthetic, combat feedback and combat design that is IMHO unparalleled by any other game on the market. Name a game with combat that’s more intense, well-thought out and encourages the least anger towards the game than this. You can’t. These developers deserve all the support anyone can give.

Edit: I wrote that because I kept trying to post my review, but I thought maybe it was too long or something so if I would just type something short it would post then I could edit it later, but then it didn’t work, but I guess it did.

Oh my oh my oh my. The beta was already super promising. Sure I didn’t get to play much in the beta since they weren’t many games running, but it was a blast. And I was expecting to pay $20, and then it’s $4, but then on sale for 10% because why not, and, and less than one 5th of the price, and, and… Oh yeah I have to talk about the game.

Schwarzerblitz

Schwarzerblitz

The day is June 1st 2020. I log onto my steam account and go about my normal gaming habits but this time I come across a unique game Schwarzerblitz. My love for this game can’t be described in simple words but yet I will try. To give background to before playing this game my marriage was callapsing slowly as, I, felt helpless to fix the mess that I created. My disabled adopted cat that suffers from the rare condition of “Blatoma Bicundrius Condition” (BBC for short) had been taking up most of our time and giving me and my wife little to no free time. As any couple this slowly created a rift between us. The girl I fell in love with, the beatiful girl who I spent each night sleeping next to, the amazing women I knew, slowly started slipping from my grasp. I knew things had finally slipped from my grasp when our weekly trip to Spyro’s Subway (our favorite reasturant) had then turned into a monthly occasion and then a yearly occasion until we each had forgetton the place where we once fell in love. Honestly the fights had gotten worse. I was a mess. A foot difference in the bed turned into 2 feet, and then 3, until I was sleeping on the couch, and then finally she said we needed a break. I was at such a low point. I needed a break so I logged onto the computer to play a game before I cuddled up with moreese (the cat) to go to bed. I check the free games and there it was- Schwarzerblitz. The sight of such a godsend beautiful game made me cry. The game in its elegant beauty reminded me of all the reasons I fell in love with my wife who was no longer at my side. I started grinding on the game becoming the absolute best I could be and thats when I started streaming. I would try to impress my wife by mentioning things from her favorite show, “Peppa the Pig” but she just wasn’t buying it. Streaming the game I started to amass massive views very quickly from my high skill level. I would never show my face however because I was nervous. Until one day. My wife and I had been re-hashing old memories and she let it slip she was watching a streamer who played this very same game. My heart stopped and hers did too when we realized me and him were one of the same. All the old emotions came back and we started hugging each other like we were the only two people in the world. Two days later my account had been removed from twitch because they labeled me as having to big of a schwarzerblitz ;) (if ya know what I mean). But things had once again came to a stop. I spent many nights alone with moreese pondering how to get my wife back. It finally hit me. I entered the Schwarzerblitz competition with 68 other contestants where wed battle it out to see who was the best. Long story short I won and now my wife is back in my hands while moreese is cuddling at our feet. Thank you schwarzerblitz you saved my marriage and saved me from losing everything. There was one uncalculated risk I never accounted for. I never read the terms and conditions to this game and by doing so I made a fatal mistake. I contracted HIV as a result. How they did this I do not know. Im sure Schwarzerblitz has their ways beeing such a high up they must have all sorts of connects. But contracting the deadly disease wasn’t all bad. Now I get to play Schwarzerblitz all day, sadly though moreese had a infection and poo pooed and pee peed and threw up all over my pc. I never cried so hard. Now when I want to play my beloved Schwarzerblitz I cant without my pecee goinmg WWWWHHHHRRRRRR really hard a lot. SOME of the pooppy comes out when this happens but its poay because its trying to clean itselfso i cna play Schwarzerblitz even more. I know that my HIV will be cured soon if I ceep playing Schwarzerblitz until I rekindle my audacious love anad youthfullness with my wife and cat ([moreeze] (in case you forgot)). Im sure that even the governmnment would get helpeded if they played Schwarzerblitz more. I know thtat people dont like taxes season but if Schwarzerblitz could revive my marriage then Schwarzerblitz could use the powers of Schwarzerblitz and revive governmenmts. Now I know wat your going to be say: Schwarzerblitz is just a game.

I’ve been a fighting game enthusiast for years and even though I will probably never what anyone can consider “good” at this kind of games, I still love play them and improve if I find something that I like.

And “Schwarzerblitz” (german for “Black Lightning”) almost immediately catched my eye.

I mean, a game that is a homage to old 3D fighting games? What is there not to love?

At first I was admittingly somewhat put off by the graphics. I’ve never been a fan of the PSX Retraux graphics style,
