Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya
ENGLISH:
Brave Rock Games’ last visual novel (more recent release), Jiraiya’s short legend. Since the text had less than 4k words, it is very short to read. 10 minutes top and you’re done. While the price was decreased since its release, I still feel to be expensive for what you get, but it a nice story, with voice acting. There are also easy achievements to get, for the chivos collectors.

Destroy The Shogun
Had fun with this. Took me about 2 hours to beat. Easier/more forgiving than a lot of retro-style platformers, which was a plus to me. Some very fun music, and a grappling hook that felt good to use. Would have liked if it was a little bit longer, but still felt satisfying enough as-is.

I will change this review if need be but so far, you can’t seem to save and the game will crash to windows.

G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout
I do recommend this game, albeit with some caveats.
G.I. Joe: Operation Blackout is an old-fashioned third-person shooter with 17 missions, across which you get to play as twelve characters total (six each for the Joes and Cobra). The game is obviously a love letter to the original 80s cartoon, and given the comments the developers make in the art book, they worked with what they had and would’ve make a more robust game if given the choice. If you like G.I. Joe and don’t boot up the game expecting a triple-A title, I think you’ll have a good time.

I honestly couldn’t tell you why this game got so slammed at release. I picked it up in a Fanatical Platinum bundle and powered through the whole thing in one sitting - and it was worth every penny. Definitely a budget title, but between the self-aware humor, earnest appreciation for the IP, and damn fun action (even the vehicle sections!), Operation Blackout might actually be the first genuinely GOOD G.I. Joe game!? It basically is like if Volition’s Agents of Mayhem was a linear action game rather than a sandbox grind, and it works so much better as a result!

Explore a large open world inspired by anime, manga, and the brutal Sengoku period in history.
Fight humans, demons, and creatures taken from folk-lore in intense open world combat.
Explore towns to interact with NPCs, purchase and sell items, pick up new primary and side quests, rest at an inn to heal or wait for the day to change, and craft items.
Befriend and recruit interesting and powerful allies.
Use a variety of weapons, including swords, pole weapons, throwing weapons, chain weapons, and bows.
Bot Gaiden
Not for the faint of heart, Bot Gaiden is all ACTION, EXECUTION, AND SPEED. Ninja robots Robyu and Bytron race to recover the power skulls that have been stolen by each of Giorqio’s 6 Hench-bots. Slicing everything in their path, they must reach their destination quickly. The Hench-bots grow stronger with time and exposure to the skulls.
The faster you go, the easier the fight. However, going faster means putting yourself in harm’s way. You’ll break out in a cold sweat trying to figure out the most efficient path through each stage.
Designed to be shared, no matter what the skill mismatch might be. Got a child that’s just learning? Team up. Got a buddy that just sucks at action games? Bring ‘em on! You can teleport to your partner at any time: lagging players can instantly catch up, and experienced players can lend a helping hand, instantly. Speaking of catching up, the trailing player is automatically equipped with additional recovery speed. No more bad old days. No fighting over skill gears either: when one player picks one up, both are equipped! Become a tag team terror with BotSwat, which sends your partner flying across the screen in an invincible fireball!
Momentum is key. Keeping skill gears leads to speed boosts (you lose skill gears when you take damage). Fast finishes enable upgrades. Upgrades enable faster finishes. Bronze and Silver rewards give you the edge to break through the Gold clear time and earn things like Triple Jump, Super Drill, Glider Bombs, and more! Plot your chain of attack accordingly.

Mad Bullets
Howdie partner. This is by far the best shooting gallery type game I’ve ever played. It features good graphics, sound effects and music that never gets boring. There are many types of enemies, and thanks to the missions you’ve got to achieve to get stars, wich make your character level up, there are many different styles of playthroughs.
What makes this game different to its competitors is that on the first look it only consists of three different levels that get mixed up by a handfull of bonus stages, but overall get repeated over and over again. Sounds boring? Well, it isn’t, because there are many different routes through each level that get mixed up every time, and this feature is so well thought out that even with my high playcount in this very game it still does manage to surprise me every now and then.

I’ve discovered that I do enjoy shooter-on-rails style games (Blue Estate, Is Defense) and this game is actually good as well, but mean and cheap grinding mechanics is what made me rate this one down. I’m an achievement hunter and as for the moment I only got one left - reach level 20. You need more and more stars with each level, and although their amount skyrocket closer to the desired level, it’s ok. To earn stars you need to complete goals; there are common goals that grant 1 star, 2 stars, 3 stars and daily goal that refreshes every 24 hours and gives you 5 stars. If you don’t like a common goal, you can change it for 125 Sacks and since money is not actually a problem, this is ok as well.

Street Hero
it’s good, legit i bought it because i thought the developer put a bunch of time into the game to make it look good, but then when i bought it, it was great and when i beat the game 100% (just now) i wanted a second one but there isn’t so i was kinda disappointing, but if they ever make a second one i’d get it happily which i want them to do.

Hey there! If you enjoy short and sweet reviews, follow my curator page here! I am an independent Curator providing reviews and insights to the games that need the spotlight! Thank you! :)
I got the chance to play Street Hero back when it was introduced as a demo for the Steam Game Festival and I thought it showed tremendous promise. Especially if you consider that this is the first game released by DD Games , a Game Studio from Vietnam managed by one authentic Hero! A one man band!

Project META
Such a fun superhero game, perfectly fufills several superhero power fantasies from web slinging to shooting fire from your hands to super strength and flight. You know that scene where superman punches his foe into the sky and hit them a couple more times, only to zip around in front of where they’re flying towards only to smack them to the ground? You can do that, and it feels WAY cooler than you think.
It is still in early development and I am SUPER excited to be there every step of the way as this game grows and develops.

If you would like to feel like superman and send enemies flying, this game is for you! This game really makes me feel like a super hero and you can actually have a selection of many more powers and it will keep growing! The graphics are good and will improve over time I can bet because the single dev is listening to the players! You have a variety of enemy types to choose from and the level selection is decent.
This game has so much potential, just give it time and you will love it!
