The Bluecoats: North & South
The game is full of bugs, errors, AI should be improved a lot, keyboard commands are not always comfortable, the map is quite uncomfortable.
But it was my favorite game on the Amiga and that’s okay then
UPDATE
After 24 hours of gameplay the thing I find most annoying during the assault on the forts is the lack of footsteps in the enemies and the spawn behind them

Not bad, actually. I read the controls were not good originally but that an update fixed it, for me they were working with an American keyboard. The new 3D shooter fights are not bad but I miss the original jump’n’run environments.

The Climate Trail
‘Even if we were to stop putting out greenhouse gases right now, we’d still face decades of warming’ - Jamais Cascio
This is an Educational Awareness game that focuses on the Greenhouse Effect and the impact being made to the ozone layer - it sets a scenario where society has collapsed as we know it today and sets you on a survival resource trail.
If this isn’t your type of game (or you avoid resource management like I usually do!) it’s a free choice!
William Volk has created a free-play game based around the mechanics of The Oregon Trail yet placing the player into a scenario where Global Warming has caused the Oceans to rise causing countries (or States in this case) to be flooded. This has devastated society to the point a new currency of trade is in use and we see the only way to survive is to abandon the flooded regions and head to higher grounds.

This is a really great game to remind us all of how well and truly hosed we are, if we can’t get global warming under control. Played to the end and, and didn’t regret it. (A bit boring or grindy at times, but that’s far overshadowed by the existential horror of our planet’s current tragectory. Oof.) Definitely worth playing! :)

“Third Update”
All control mapping is now working and is smooth and easy to use. Playing through for a second time was more enjoyable without fighting these.
I know mappings may seem like a “small thing to be updated” but the speed the devs have done it and their updates was what stopped me from refunding and got me to play through twice.
Keen for episode 2.
“Original Review”
This game does seem like it could be good, unfortunately running on a Vive it seems that the controls do no function and you’re unable to proceed past the initial starting point.

Okay, so…
Fuck the other two games - flesh out Carnage Cross as much as humanely possible. This is the closest the Twisted Metal fan-base will ever get to a spiritual successor since Sony decided to elbow-drop Twisted Metal for good. Wait until at least 1.0 to keep working on Sanitize or Starglades.
I know some of the suggestions I’m gonna make are already on your roadmap - AND I DON’T CARE. I’ll repeat them infinitely into the fucking VOID if need be.
● ONLINE MULTIPLAYER. DO IT.
● NONE of the vehicles should have auto-aim machine guns - all of their guns should fire directly forward. Auto-aim should be either a power-up or a special ability. With that being said…

The Adventures of Fatman: Intergalactic Indigestion
Sorry, but no.
I enjoyed the first Fatman game, but this is nothing like it:
-
It is smaller. Much smaller than the first.
-
It has no speech. (The first one had)
-
It is NOT point & click. It is purely drag & drop, which is, well… a drag.
-
It is not a complete story. At some point you return to the fatcave to get some paperwork for a new member and… game over.
Yes, the cost is minimal, but at the same price the first Fatman offers much, much more. It should be given as a free prologue to a series of episodes that will never come.
