Kitchen Island VR

The core gameplay is fun, and I was having a blast right away. I am happy to change this review as dev’s have now been engaging with the community on bugs/issues. I am hoping they can solve some of the startup issues as I look forward to playing this game with friends more.

The Jackbox Party Pack 8

The Jackbox Party Pack 8

Another great party pack. Each of the games is fun, my friend group gets the most laughs out of Job Job. With some of the games, you can go on the Jackbox TV site afterwards and order a ridiculous NSFW T-shirt with a line from one of the games you’ve played. If Jackbox has gone over well with your friends, Pack 8 won’t disappoint.

I was once with a jew and 7 muslims when I entered a bar in Bismarck, North Dakota. In case you didn’t know, this is the capital of South Dakota. And so, it was in this snowy summer day in Montana that I heard a client who looked drunk as fuck(lmao I’m rofling thinking about it), and he started explaining to me why the radical left partakes in speedrunning. Sadly, I did not get to hear his whole speech. I did, however, catch the end of it: “[…]in a petersonian sense, to elevate the alternatives in the sexual marketplace, open parenthesis, the fastest hedgehog, close parenthesis.” I did not understand a single word he said, and I still do not. I think he was on heroin, as well as substances such as: weed, marijuana, MJ, cannabis and the devil’s lettuce, among other things.

Magicka 2

Magicka 2

My experience in Magicka 2 vs Magicka 1.

I’ll start it off with the first time I played Magicka 1. The moment I started to grasp the concept of regular combinations, element combinations, and the special spell combinations, thats when I begun to experiment on so many spells (be it regular spells or the special combination spells, or both), and found it absolutely fun at how I can play the game differently each time and would still enjoy it nonetheless.

Thats when I absolutely fell in-love with Magicka. It promised a sort of freedom to your utilization of these spells. And the better you got at utilizing regular combos or utilizing multiple special combination spells, the more satisfying the gameplay was.

WARNING! Don’t listen to negative reviews here or on Metacritic. The game is light years ahead of the first game in almost every area. I’d say PcGamer’s 79/100 rating is about right, although they were complaining about the difficulty of the game too which I don’t necessarily agree with. Well, although initially it was frustrating, after I got the hang of it, I was steamrolling my enemies even at the final fight. It’s actually almost impossible to (permanently) die now because you can resurrect your fairy and you’re pretty much immortal. This also means that the first games infuriating moments of losing your hard-earned staves upon death are solved, because you drop your staff on death and you can pick it up on resurrection. You just need to let go of your anger/fear about dying, and maintain a relaxed, observant mind to easily be able to make accurate snap decisions about what elements to use, what vulnerabilities your opponents likely have. There are tons of clues about it, you just need to let go of your fear of dying and the constant anxiety that makes combat much more difficult than it should be. As I’ve mentioned, death is meaningless now and you are almost guaranteed to die every 10 minutes or so, even if you’re a legendary player, and it’s okay. Or every 20 seconds, if you’re not, and it’s okay too. Relax, and you’ll start improving rapidly.

Morphies Law: Remorphed

Morphies Law: Remorphed

FUN 3rd person shooter with a twist. The twist is every part of your body represents an ability, and if you hit the body part of your opponent, that body part grows on you increasing the associated ability and the body part shrinks on your opponent decreasing their ability. For instance, the size of your feet represent your run speed. If you aim for your opponents feet, their run speed decreases and yours increases. It adds a unique dimension to the strategy of the game.

This is not my usual type of game genre, but 6 hours in it has been a lot of fun and I do not regret the buy. The graphics are Fortnite-esque with Día de los Muertos themes and music. You earn bolts through play or they can be purchased and spent on cosmetic skins. You earn weapon upgrades through play. At this time I see no option to purchase weapons or ability upgrades, so thumbs up for NO p2w.

I’m having fun with this game. Finally something easy to get into and non committal game. Do you like to customise your weapons or appearance? This game may be for you?

What a building crushed me?

WTF is this combat?

Progression system?

WTF you grow when you attack and shrink when hit?

This applies to individual body parts?

What each body part has specific perks???

Interesting. Fun. Finally something good came out on steam. The game focuses on game mechanics and fun. Great work to whomever made this game!

So. Lemme begin by saying that I absolutely love this game.

The Gameplay

It has Both a singleplayer and multiplayer mode. The singleplayer is… well. not very fun. You just draw stuff to your creativity; BUT you can invite your friends and draw whatever you want in the same canvas, and it is necessary for the competitions with amazing rewards that take place in the Discord Server . The multiplayer has 3 different gamemodes, which are:

There are no bad games here.

Champ’d Up is a real treat for people who love to draw, and even people that only draw black and white stick figures can join in and stand a chance. So much unintentional humour - and a lot of fun to be had by trying for some humour if you can guess your opponent’s prompt and make a deconstruction of it. You get to keep your drawings for the next game if you play with the same players, too! Compared to Tee K.O., it feels like a better flow because you draw two things at a time and every drawing is used at least once, possibly more because there’s four drawings and six rounds per person (and again, they can be used in the next game.) Also includes the best part of Bracketeering with none of its bad.

No disclaimer about the fact that I’m European this time around. This Jackbox Party Pack has a Filter for US-Centric content, to make it accessible to the broader audience around the world. Definitely a welcomed addition. You might still note that all of those games were played with the aforementioned option turned on.

Do I recommend the Jackbox Party Pack 7?
