Deported 2: Build That Wall
Agent Grump is back, and ready to fight the endless battle against those forces trying to flood earth with illegal space aliens. This time, Agent Grump’s nemesis has grown even stronger, and it is up to you to help him carry out his mission to BUILD THAT WALL, and Make Earth Great Again. Like it’s predecessor, it is packed with contemporary political satire, it’s easy to learn and fun to play. Not for the easily butthurt.

I’ve been wracking my brain for about 2 weeks tring to figure out how to review the game without simply saying “it’s more of the same” (that’s lazy), however that does seem to be the fact of the matter. Level progression (enemy types are the same; speed goblins at level 2, the seekers, the diehards, etc) are about the same as the first one but the map layouts are different. So rest assured that you’re not playing the same game twice. Still a short game that can be completed in under an hour. I still find the comedy still enjoyable, with the game’s story continuing the narrative of political satire that surrounds Ronald J Grump and Killary and the hilarity that ensued from 2016.

Unfortunate Spacemen
This game has everything a among us player wants plus sooooooo much more.
First of all this game is free and I mean free not loot boxs or pay to win mechanics, there are somewhat overpriced cosmetics but they are purely cosmetic and ad no gameplay advantage.
There is a story mode which is not bad, a survival mode that’s pretty meh, and shapeshifter the reason everyone plays without going into a long wall of text One of you is a monster and everyone’s name is hidden as a color. Instead of scaresolution for example you see blue the monster looks human until he transforms and the twist he can change color.

Unfortunate spacemen is where you play as one of many unfortunate spacemen/women stuck on a station with a shapeshifting monster that’s out to screw you over one way or another. (there are other gamemodes, however the game and this review will revolve mostly around the shapeshifter gamemode)
Pros:
-
Very large amount of replayability, it has a justifiable amount of maps and weapons that show up in random spots, as do the objectives.
-
Fantastic OST, the recently added menu music is something I can’t help but jam out to (I miss the old music though :( )

I first saw Markiplier play this, and knew I have to give it a shot. This game is really fun. The humor is funny, and the ghosts can be pretty tough. You’ll spend a lot time looking for stuff tied to the ghosts, and while it can be frustrating, it never reaches the level of rage quitting. The game can be pretty punishing. When you die, you go to your last autosave, which often means losing the items and quests you had, but it just makes me more determined. The controls work great, the ghosts do a great job of inciting “Oh crap oh crap” moments, the needed items are not always in the same spots, you may not always witness the same hauntings, and there’s multiple endings, which is big for me. The game is addicting, and well worth the money. Headphones are definitely recommended to hear the ghosts creeping around better.

Garden Variety Body Horror - Rare Import
I love it.
It’s bigger than its predecessor Prototype Mansion .
It mixes elements from classic games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil.
In some areas it uses fixed camera angels (yeah, classic tank control), and in the bigger open areas it uses third person view.
An radio noise warns the player if anything lurks nearby.
The monster variety is ok so far. It reachs from slow moving, flying, quickly jumping until fast crawling one-hit killer.
Locations varies, too.

Midnight Evil
The game got a very cool idea but ya boy stutters, tho.
I still love it.
The thing that bugs me, three trophies: Completionist, Mole Whacker
Those two trophies are bugged.
(I finished the game about five times, the game doesn’t even tell you that you unlocked the mole game.)
I had all Data blocks and all trophies but STILL… No Competionist trophy.
Side note: I had to replay random levels about 7 times until the last two blocks appeared since they’re luck based.
The ‘Germinator Destruction Gold’ trophy works but it was a biiiiitch to get it since the pills are random and germs movement are random, as well, cu.

This game is not worth $9.99. Maybe $4.99 tops.
It is incredibly short but very fun. A little on the glitchy side because your microphone randomly stops working and you have to restart the game. It has two mini games for more achievements but they get old pretty quickly.
That’s it. My review is about as short as the game. If you pay full price you will feel ripped off. I expect a LOT more from a game with a $10 price tag.
I look forward to more games from these Devs, hopefully with more content or a lower price point so that the cost makes sense.

Penguin’s Dogma|獄門ペンギン
A quick and fun game to play. The chase music is hilarious. Be aware that “Real” difficulty is the true game. This game was recommended to me by Usada Pekora.

Hard difficulty playthrough: https://youtu.be/NDdtB3jp4KY
Not gonna lie, had an absolute blast with this game this morning. Took me a bit to figure out what had to be done to escape, but the creepy atmosphere is subtle, the penguins act as a nice tonal clash for the sake of humor, and the core concept is executed very well. I ran into some bugs during my many playthroughs, but aside a small handful of “real” difficulty killing the experience a bit I was able to forgive them.
The biggest complaint, though? It’s short. Yes, there are four difficulties, but I still beat this multiple times on all but “easy” difficulties (didn’t play that one) in less than two hours. Hopefully the devs do what Shawn did with Pacify and continue supporting it with one or more new maps in the future, or even a mutiplayer mode at some point. $7 is a bit much to part with for such a short experience, but I really do suggest this title if you just want to sit back and play a fun little stealth horror game.

Survivor Dieland
Codeword: Hag.
So, I recommend this, because playing it made me feel good and smile. It is by far not my favourite of the test games, but it is well worth its money in my opinion.
Pros:
-
Short but entertaining
-
Interesting questions that you actually have to think about
-
Reading the results was highly amusing and made me feel good. I think that needs to be emphasized considering that survival is a rather serious business. On that note:
-
The outlandish scenarious you are confronted with are quite nice. Managed to take me off guard once or twice, which is refreshing.

Secret word: Shark-bite
While I’ve enjoyed a good amount of the other games, I would say this is one that isn’t really worth playing. I never want to down vote small studio games because I know that it can affect how many other people buy the game. This one still felt like a miss on my end. If you’re looking for a game that has interesting questions and provides you with a short story at the end of the game, then you should play it– but this was just not my kinda game. I don’t plan on refunding it though, because it brought a little enjoyment. Just not enough to recommend it to other friends/users.

I like this game concept, but you cant invert the mouse. so if you are used to playing FPS’s then you know that this is quite awkward. This is a FP game, and you would think that an invert mouse selection would be appropriate. very hard to play without it.

This game was so much fun and made me laugh so much! Probably the best $2 I’ve ever spent!

A nice silly little game of choices where every turn there is potential death. No matter what happens you won’t be leaving completely intact. The art-style is interesting and everything meshes well together. Its short but worth the time to play.

Deported: Drain the Swamp
It’s difficult for me to write an unbiased review, any games from Crankage Games are worth it just for the dialogues alone. Heck I’d play this just to read the cutscenes' lines. If you’ve played anything from Crankage Games before, you know what to expect. If you haven’t, what are you waiting for? They’re fun and they’re cheap.
This one is an arcade, old school gameplay. If you like a fun game without pretensions, just something fast and fun to play, give Deported a shot.

Today on my way home from work i stopped into a petrol station and snagged myself a chocolate bar for £1.15. I ate it in the car in just under 4 minutes, i enjoyed it. It probably did not do me any good but in the long term it wont have done me any harm.
When i got home i snagged a copy of Deported: Drain the swamp for 79p, i finished it in about half an hour. much better value than chocolate, and it was funny so it might of helped shed the choclate from my belly due to the light exercise of laughing.
