Icebound
Not a bad game, not a great game but pretty good compared to most steam VN in my opinion.
Plenty of choices in the game and different endings..tho a lack of romance options i am happy
that there atleast was one in the game. The puzzle game is not to hard and not to easy, perfect for
me.

Alchemy is more than just a handy skill in the world of Permia. Alchemists are both admired and feared and have the ability to sort out problems and fix what was once broken. With a strong emphasis on character development and world-building, the simple task of discovering a monster that’s been terrorizing a town becomes all the more intricate. It has beautiful art direction, fitting music, and an alchemy mini-game that is placed at just the right parts of the game to leave me refreshed. I couldn’t get enough of Icebound, by Fastermind Games.

Platzkart Simulator

Snow Wars
This top-down shooter is not badly made but is too short and simplistic to really be worth it. Enemies have very basic AI and all behave the same. With only thirty levels, the game will probably take you less than half an hour to beat, with the only reward beinga screen that says “win.” Your movement and aiming control welll enough, and I do like the premise. There’s nothing special beyond that premise, though, making it feel more like a template for a game than a finished game. Even at a much lower price, I wouldn’t advise buying it.

Snow Wars is a “template flip”, that is to say, it’s a “game” that has been produced by copying a game template from GameMaker Studio, changing a few things, then dumping the barely functional “product” on Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. In this case it was a GameMaker Studio template called the “Top Down Shooter Engine”, used for making basic top down shooters, combined with a lazy snow tileset and some stock asset snowman sprites.
GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and results in terrible games like this one.

I am not really sure who this game is for.
However, it works, the presents attack, you kill them.
Releasing a Christmas game in July feels weird but it is cheap and works like it says it does.

Super Snow Fight
Very fun game. Have got some achievements already - yes, the MONSTER Kill, too!
But uff, “very hard” is like snow ball machine guns against you. :D

I purchased this game while having the winter/Christmas season in mind. I paid $5.49 CAD so my expectations were not that high at all, but I ended up having a ton of fun.
The game consists of 2-4 players having a snowball fight (Human or AI). You start with 5 hearts each and the aim is to “kill” the other player. During a match you can use a light or heavy shot. A heavy shot being performed while holding the throw button to charge it up. The winner being the first to kill X amount of people or being the leader after the time limit is up.

Everybody Wham Wham
A very cute and relaxing experience (with some very funny moments). The visual art is PRIMABELLA and the soundtrack is PERFECT-EL RINO and gets stuck in your head even when you’re not playing the game.
There are some things that I’d like to see more in the game though, for example, I’d like to be able to interact more with the characters (I don’t mean talking to them, I like the way that the main character communicates with the others, but I’d like to have more of those moments when you get to know them and they tell you about their lives), also, I’d like to be able to interact more with the scenario, aaaaaand (even more important than the others) I’d like to see multiple endings, I wish we could be able to convince the characters to change their minds about some things (which could impact the ending).

This game is brilliant, and deserves so much more attention than it’s getting right now. Here are a couple of reasons why:
#1 - The story elements and the vibes of this game feel so complete and so beautiful. It’s relaxing, fun, and there are always little surprises popping up that I didn’t notice the first or second time I play through it.
#2 - The soundtrack is beautiful and filled with catchy tunes.
#3 - I get so invested in the snowman building competition, I surprise myself. This his, hands down, the best snowman building game ever made.

Chasing Tails ~A Promise in the Snow~
I got roughly 4 and a half hours out of this game after 100%ing it.
I really enjoyed this visual novel. I would highly recommend it. This is one of the better visual novels that I have read.
It had a compelling story. If this were a full length novel, I would definitely read more. It was a shorter novel, so a lot of plot points could not be super well developed unfortunately. It’s essentially a bite sized chunk of a story. But I think it’s good for what the price is for this game.
The game has a crisp and beautiful art style. It even has some nice special effects. I was pleasantly surprised considering this is one of the less expensive visual novels.

A PROMISE OF GOOD TIMES
The game is a good example of the H-style gaming with a cute story plot and background mixed in with some surprise erotic scenes between the main characters.
Whilst the overall arch of the novel is not as complex nor dramatic, it does provide the player with some good light-hearted humour, tender moments and even scary heart-jumping flashes. It will satisfy the curiosity of any casual gamer venturing into the anime-ecchi side of the the spectrum and may even fulfill the need for a nice short plot that may, or may not end nicely depending on one’s choices.

Flower Shop: Winter In Fairbrook
As a fan of Visual Novels, I for one, was ecstatic when I got the chance to play this particular VN. It’s one I’ve sort of been lusting after for a couple of years now, so you can bet that as soon as I got the opporitunity to play the full thing, I took it.
This VN is sort of like a typical stat-building YN; you might have to try to guess who which stat is for, but if you spend enough time with each of the guys, you’ll be able to tell based on their personalities. And not only that, you need to help Susana, the owner of the flower shop that you’re helping out, with the flowers. Every morning you tend to them, and it’s up to you, the player, to decide which strategy to use.

Much like Summer in Fairbrook, I bought this game on sale, and yet still find it difficult to recommend to anyone, other than those firmly commited to the genre.
And much like it’s predecessor, Winter in Fairbrook leaves much to be desired.
To say the game is bad would be like saying a small piece of chocolate cake is bad (assuming that you enjoy chocolate cake). It’s still cake, it’s still good, but it is grossly unsatisfying.
The writing leaves much to be desired. Very much like Steve in the previous game, Natalie is a vapid, ignorant, immature, petulant, and lazy girl, who is instructed by her parents to find a job over the holidays, in the hopes of teaching her some discipline (They had already cancelled her cellphone due to bad grades, and are now threatening to take her new car away). Luckily, her room-mate just happens to be Clara from the previous game, and she sets Natalie up with Susana to work in the flower shop.
