Milkyway Funland
Couldn’t get on with any of the mini games. There is a stupid system where you have to “earn” goes at the minigames by doing some other (equally dull) mini-games. Why not just allow us to replay the games at will?

Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
Milkyway Funland is not really a free to play experience as it has in-app purchases, where you can basically either buy tickets to play the mini-game experiences or buy a pass. The pass costs $14.99 USD and I believe that with that you have unlimited access to all the rides forever if I’m not mistaken. I did not buy the pass.
However, you still have limited access to the content. You’re basically given a set number of tickets so you can experience some of the mini-games. I was able to experience 4 of them. You also have access to the ability to earn tickets. There’s a level with some basic mini-games that if you do well on, you will also get a ticket. However, they do the old carnival trick where the mini-games are much harder than they should be. In fact, the pinball experience is next to impossible (because it’s bugged and the ball will drain right down the middle and it’s just not fun). The whack-a-mole (skeleton) looked easy and it was, but somehow I didn’t get a ticket.

Melatonin
Melatonin is an unconventional rhythm game about dreams bleeding into reality. Stay on beat as you traverse through a series of minigames that challenge you to interact with rhythm in fun new ways.
Explore the mind of the main character and see how their dreams have been affected by their real-life desires and anxieties. The reverse is true too as the dreams themselves begin to have an impact on the character’s reality.
The game features a vibrant art style with visuals and animations that have been fully hand-drawn in 4K. The music has also been hand-crafted to flow with the gameplay for a holistic musical experience.
Each of the 4 chapters has a different theme with a new set of rhythm-based minigames that take place in their own unique dream world.
Earn stars to unlock more minigames, mashups, and additional chapters. The game relies on following sound and animation cues to beat each minigame, but there’s also a practice mode that guides you through the proper timing using a more traditional interface.
