My friend and I laughed so hard while playing this game that we couldn’t even breathe. If the beta version did this to us, I can’t imagine what will happen if we play the completed version.

I am changing my review because this game made me and my friends feel disappointed about this game. I wanted to play this with two of my friends. First, the game opened in Chinese even though I did not choose it. Second, my friends couldn’t change the language (their language changed into Chinese too) because it always froze in settings. Third, in the remote play that my friend shared, it did not detect my gamepad. Last, I hope developers will fix these bugs. These bugs make the game unplayable with more than two players. Until then, I do not recommend this game.

This game is fantastic, but I must issue a warning:

Player creativity and practice is an absolute requirement.

Some people say the game gets old quick, and that it’s too simple to squeeze enough enjoyment out of it to make it worth the money, and that d!ck jokes aren’t funny. Those people are wrong.

When I picked it up, I liked it, and it made me laugh my ass off for a bit, but I wasn’t quite hooked. Then I played a match with someone who was REALLY good at the game, and it showed me the potential for hilariously rewarding gameplay and growth through raw skill. It actually exercises your brain because you have to figure out which keys you need to push next, and in which order, while you’re helplessly rag-dolling through the air.

…I just spent almost 2 hours in an online match with some random guy. Neither of us were trying to win the game (bridge builder). We were pretty much on par with one another skill-wise in the beginning. Suddenly he pulls a fancy move and teabags my character, grabbing his head and smacking his junk against his face. It was hysterical.

I did the same thing right back, attempting to ride his face ‘Gangnam style.’

This went back and forth from a number of bizarre homo-erotic positions. The novelty just did not seem to wear off.

Quiplash

Quiplash

A brilliant game that resembles both cards against humanity and the TV show who’s line is it anyway, one of the reasons I like the game as much as I do is because only 1 person needs to own the game in order for a group of people to play it, granted the owner is the only one who sees the fancy visuals unless you stream the game or everyone is in the same room.

This game can be extremely funny and has a lot of character to it but I wouldn’t reccomend it if you have less than 4 friends to play it with, as it’s not quite as games don’t last as long and as a result, not as many laughs are had. But if you have enough friends, even if one’s PC is broken for some reason, they can still play using their smartphone, tablet, or really anything with internet access, so it’s a brilliant deal as well as a hilarious game.

I wanna start off by saying that this is my first review. Secondly I’d like to say that I genuinely thought that this would be the last game I thought I’d ever play with my family, given the humor of this game, and the humor of my family.

But well….it happened. And it’s actually been really awesome so far! Even my tech challenged family members have been able to join up using a spare tablet from someone else in the family, can understand how to play, and can get their answers in on time. (Granted I put on the extended timers, just in case) The games go by quick enough even the most competitive of my family quit caring about point values and just try to have fun, which is a plus for me! I’ve laughed plenty more times than I thought I would with family, and I can’t wait to play with a group of friends!

Retimed

My review will be dithyrambic but the game 100% deserve it.

This game literally changed my life. 65h hours on steam, but you can count as much on switch, and as mutch with the pre-alpha (with no hours recorded), + 400 hours working to orgaise stuff with the community.

I’ve alway been fan of couch games. I’ve always been fan of indies games. I’ve always been fan of esport. And this one answer all my needs.

I love indies games, but really few of them can grab me for so long, but often it’s short experience. I had the chance to have access to the early beta, and I know I’ll grind so much this game that it would be fair for them to ask me a monthly suscribtion !

Retimed is a casual competitive shooter, where we have to shoot the opponents with our projectile pistol. Once the elimination limit is exceeded, a game is won. Simple right?

The game moves very well and, except for a little connection spike in the four-player games, there seems to have no problems at all.

Also the music complies with this carefree aesthetic , without the melodies attracting our attention for nothing in particular and with a scarce variety.

Pros.

+Guaranteed fun with friends locally over friday night drinks.

Roast Party

If you love hanging around with your friends and poking fun this is the best game! Even those who were nervous or considered themselves sweethearts got hooked on this idea and ran with it even harder than the rest of us. Somehow instead of destroying friendships we actually created some solid bonds! Can we deem this Roast Therapy ?

I never laughed so much at a game like this one, it’s quite amazing to see some prompts & pictures work really well each other along with some of the answers written down by the players, hope to see more games from these developers!

A (precision) platformer with light-weighted puzzles, gentle difficulty curve, wacky plot, and hilarious narration. Especially enjoyable to play with a partner. Last few chapters could be a little bit too difficult though, but nothing insurmountable even for casual players.

Support local multiplayer, but controllers are necessary. Otherwise, you can progress in story mode with your friend in online multiplayer mode. When two computers are on the same WiFi network, the lag is nearly imperceptible.

TL;DR:

This is a simplified, faster-paced successor to The Ship. If you’re not familiar with that, think of it as a cartoony, multiplayer Hitman game for 8 players/bots on small maps. It can be a Bloody Good Time, but unfortunately, it has just 3 maps and suffers from dumb bots, a lack of instructions and some cheap weaponry.

Full review:

Bloody Good Time is a simplified, faster-paced successor to The Ship, which isn’t surprising because it’s from the same developer. The meat-and-potatoes of this game is called “the hunt”, a gamemode requiring you to murder a different target each round, all while avoiding guards, cameras and your own hunter. To do this, you can pick from a large roster of weapons spawned throughout the map, each with a randomly-assigned star value which changes every round. This means you have to pick up new weapons often in order to stay on top of the scoreboard. Whoever has the most stars at the end of 12 rounds wins the game. In addition, you’ll find “murder aids”, which do just what their name implies; they can either be used to assist you in a murder or to defend yourself in a bad situation. There’s a glue gun to freeze someone for a few seconds, a holographic decoy to mislead your hunter, even a camera to steal stars. You also have to take care of your “needs” - sleeping, pooping and eating, respectively - and if any of these gets too low, it lowers your speed, defense and strength. You’re pretty much defenseless while taking care of these needs, but when fully refilled, they give you an added stat boost. There are also traps littered around each map and while difficult to pull off, the reward is high.
