Where are my Internets?
One-of-a-kind DYI-style indie board game, simple but challenging.
Contrary to what you may (and I did) think at first, it’s really hard to play with a single character; but it has a special achievement for winning exactly that type of a game. Some of the encounters are purely fictional, and it’s weird in a funny way to see this in a setting based around searching for (and actually installing) a satellite dish-provided Wi-Fi in some rural area.
All in all, funny little adventurous thing, best played in hot-seat mode!

Cute Board Game
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yw8ASYH1YJg
[Disclaimer, I played this Solo, it is probably more fun with friends locally]
- Visually the game looks pretty adorable with cute drawn artwork that looks more or less like a hand-made board game.
-
Far too RNG based. The entire game is based off pure luck, there is little to no real strategy or decisions for the player to make, every outcome is based on the dice roll.
-
The gameplay is too simple and repetitive. You roll, land on a tile, fight a monster, if you win you get money or an item you can sell. That is about all there is to the entire game… if you land in the city you can pay to put up internet. Once you get enough money from fighting, and get internet in every town you win… I could not find anything fun, really lacks any real challenge.

Cyber-Ante
This game is very addicting and refreshing to play. I have never seen a puzzle game like this before and it has been done well here. On top of that, the hacker’s dialogue keeps things interesting and gives the entire game and puzzles a backstory. The puzzles are challenging and make you hate yourself after doing the same move after 10 times of trying it. Would love to see what else this developer releases.

FIGHT KNIGHT
It’s a terrific game. Fight Knight has a lot of uniqueness to it and doesn’t follow gaming trends much at all, beyond a bedrock of mostly old school foundations. A dungeon crawler with combat a bit like Punch Out and God Hand, it lacks almost all now standard progression mechanics and instead focuses on the actual game you play. Difficulty ramps about linearly, not many games can claim that, and it never becomes trivially easy. The bosses are highlights and the basic framework of combat and how enemies mix and match gives a lot of variety to encounters. The different gauntlets you equip are surprisingly different from one another and provide actually different playstyles as opposed to very minor moveset reworks.

fight knight is an all around fantastic game. it’s a unique blend of dungeon crawling mixed with a first person punch em up.
the combat is a lot like God Hand; it’s challenging and has tons of situational moves you gotta use at the right time. there’s lots of enemy variety and encounters that kept me on my toes. the different weapon upgrades also each had different playstyles. i got filtered by a few bosses, but after changing strategies and equipment, i did eventually manage to beat them, which was intensely satisfying.

LABYRINTH OF TOUHOU - GENSOKYO AND THE HEAVEN-PIERCING TREE
where do i start on this game’s review? heck if i know but i’ll try to leave it readable
the fun i have had in this game exceeds that of over 99% of rpg games i have ever played the combat is excellent its kinda like active time battle but each time you or the enemy gets their turn the atb bars stop increasing until everyone who has their atb bar around 10000 or so had their turn then atb bars resume increasing up to 10000 then those characters or enemies have thier turn rinse and repeat
the difficulty with the bosses is legendarily hard even by dark souls standards you will die a lot of times and when i say a lot I MEAN YOU WILL DIE A HEAP OF TIMES (assuming if you dont over power yourself because lets face it overpowered characters negating the challenge is less fun then stepping on the edges of lego pieces barefoot) joke aside the some of the bosses will take every single bit of knowledge you have from this game and any other similar role playing games to even have a slight chance take it from me i have been party wiped so fast i didn’t even have time to say darn i got shredded and owned lol (i party wiped so many times though not once have a rage quit because of the boss’s difficulty it happens because i made the blooming mistakes that made the party wipe happen oh for those fans of a certain super hard rpg game im not going to say who it is but all you need know is a certain npc appears from that series somewhere in this game when i saw them i was like nooo….. can it you are you really them? no blooming way its them (yes it was them i can tell because i played a good bit of that game series myself

Estigma [Steam Edition]
This game is bizarre in a really good way. The horror elements are fun and engaging, and the style of game play is simple but entertaining. This game was built with people who love puzzles in mind, with the real puzzle starting after the game is over. Can tell that who ever made this game put a lot of love into it, can’t wait to see what happens next. The only real issues I have with this game are that the controls are unclear, made sure to check them out before starting the game.

This game is actually amazing. I currently have the fastest recorded completion time for the Normal Ending in 18:25, so here’s what I have to say about this:
I love this game’s atmosphere. Everything about this game makes me uncomfortable, so the game is definitely doing it’s job. I love how the creature you play as also sings a little song if you hold down Z. It’s a really nice touch.
The puzzle based gameplay is amazing, it flows really well. Levels like Anxiety are my favorite types of levels to play, since it always leaves you at the edge of your seat.

This Is Not Chess
I’ll admit I bought this purely for the nostalgia that the graphics give me. It reminds me of a lot of gamemaker games that I was obsessed with in my youth.
The game itself however, is suprisingly deep. Each unit has a type and a list of techniques and these techniques take time to pull off. But here’s the catch: you can pay action points to speed it up. You’d think you’d be constantly doing that but action points are shared between the whole team and they are also used to move your units and spawn new ones.

Dave-Man
A simple story about a simple man, that just wants his everyday routine not to be ruined. A story, that many of us could tell.
Once you’ll start to play Dave, you will soon find out that there is a quite some background for this well made tribute to a Pac-man like games. I was simply amazed with the amount of all the dialogues, options, hidden jokes and obvious puns, all accompanied with great chiptune music. The music itself makes a huge work here as well, as many times I have just realized that I am humming the tones along with my head nodding to the rhythm.

Dave-Man is a charming retro-style game that taught me to despise anyone named Cathy! (for real, there is something very satisfying about getting caught out by her for the 15th time and exclaiming ‘GOSHDARNIT CATHY’ while smacking your desk). The gameplay is heckin fun, reminds me of my terrible attempts at Pac-Man when I was a wee lad but with cool extra stuff like online shopping and cats!!!The music is delightful, love the chiptune sound and it is there to comfort you when you inevitably get caught because you tried the hardest difficulty room. The end of a run is a really nice touch too, I won’t spoil it but it made me genuinely laugh.Overall I’d super recommend, and honestly it’s a steal for the price. It’s cheaper than a coffee from Costbucks for Christ’s sake and it comes with janitorial friendship!!
