Title_Pending
Title_Pending is a story based exploration and adventure game. Become a playtester and explore the liminal spaces of a work in progress video game to unravel the mystery behind JMC Gaming Enterprises…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hello, I’m Matthew Stanton, and I’m the lead developer at JMC Gaming Enterprises! You’ve been chosen from our list of applicants to play-test our new game (which as of now does not have a title).
Not only that, tech department said they made a breakthrough with a new device (they won’t clue me in but I hope it’s big). Apparently they’re going to ‘play-test’ their device the same day we play-test the game, which is strange, but whatever. Anyway, please contact me ASAP at this number: (061)219████, or you can reply to this email, and we will arrange a time for you.
Thank you!
-Matt

Do Not Buy This Game
Wh- What are you doing here?
Did you not read the title?
I’ll put it here again, just for you, but this time I’ll make a tiny change that will probably help you out:
See that small, unnoticeable circle? Yes, the one in red that surrounds the word ‘NOT’.
Yeah? You got it!
Oh, such a happy moment of learning that we got to share together!
And now that you’ve noticed it, I’m sure you will do the respectful thing and immediately stop reading the description for the game. You are now free to go do something else!
…
Oh, I get it.
You think that by reading this long description you will find out more about the game.
Fine.
Here is a feature list you might find useful:
-
A whole lot of nothing
-
Me as the narrator
-
More nothing
-
I have some jokes ready I guess?
-
A lot of regrets
See how full of beautiful features this game is?
It was really hard to polish all these features to perfection, but I never gave up and pulled through it!
So now that you have full knowledge of everything you need to know, I am certain that you can go on with your life.
…why are you still reading this?

Dude, Stop
So, Dude Stop… A game that had people waiting literal years for, ever since the demo was released. Now it’s a little short for its price (I won one of the contests so I got a free key), but I actually bought the game before I knew I won (making me have to refund), meaning I was willing to fork over actual cash for it.
Pros:
-Quite fun, if you’re into games where you’re into defying the narrator, like Stanley Parable.
-Entertaining narrator.
-Not very hard to get all the achievements, with or without a guide.

I needed a short and relaxing point and click as a breather from competitive gaming. I picked this game up for it’s full price. While it is “relaxing”, it is far from funny.
The narration is probably some of the cringiest I’ve heard in a while. It screams “trying too hard”, and the inflection from the voice actor is so bad, I physically cringed every time he tried to make a joke. Why is this important? Because it is literally the entire premise of the game. You are Player17, doing everything in your power to do the puzzles wrong. The narrator conveys his frustration every time you do something wrong. Because of how bad his voice acting is, I almost didn’t want to work on the achievements because I would have to listen to his cheesy voice lines again and again.

Los Cops
Los Cops is a non-linear visual novel with point & click adventure elements in the form of a TV show about the life of aspiring actor Jeremy Jablonski, who teams up with private detective Santiago Hutchinson to save Los Angeles.
The plot of Los Cops depends entirely on your choices: what kind of relationship to build with the characters, what cases to investigate, how to deal with criminals, and what methods should be followed. You can act out the detective of your dreams or not act out at all, focusing primarily on a career in Hollywood or other delights of life. Every small victory and every bitter defeat will propel history towards unpredictable turns and endings.
Features:
-
Join the amazing adventures of private detective agency Los Cops. Play as Jeremy Jablonski and together with him understand what is more precious in life: the career of a Hollywood star, the duty of a detective to the city, or the personal life and well-being of your loved ones.
-
Each episode has its own genre, visual style and atmosphere. Enjoy classic 80s buddy movie, 40s noir detective, western, sitcom, heist film, road movie and much more!
-
Feel yourself in the shoes of a real detective with your principles and skills - collecting evidence, chases, shootings, interrogations, investigations, cooperation with gray representatives of the law, infiltration with disguise and much more. Be considerate and resourceful, but don’t get too into the role.
-
Spend time with a lot of colorful characters both on the side and on the other side of the law. Choose your friends, make enemies, build romantic relationships and just have a good time. You change with your environment and create it yourself. But remember - every decision has a consequence.
-
Face the most motley gangs in Los Angeles: from anarchist rockers to maniacs, from petty bandits to the Asian mafia. Put them in jail, bribe them for further cooperation, or become a criminal yourself. But so that no one can see.
The Los Cops story is divided into several episodes. Each of them is a separate story with a continuous storyline. The Tequila Sunrise episode is the first. Subsequent episodes will be released in paid DLC format.

Red Comrades Save the Galaxy: Reloaded
Point and click adventure game with a quest to find a Russian symbol.
True to it’s Russian nature you’ll see a lot of Russian stereotypes and clichés which can be fun and annoying.
I do wonder whether I’m walking through some sort of mini-Russia
! with drunks on the streets and being poor with almost everyone asking for money and many things just broken or in a worn down state. To come accross Very rude and impolite people is something I didn’t expect, actually.
The game has a very usable system to interact with the envoirement and a handy map that will transport you trough the game if you don’t feel like taking your characters walking. Beautifully drawn backgrounds and freshly designed lead characters. Still has that olden days Russia look of course. With Russian voices make it sound true to it’s Russian nature. It’s was hilarious to hear them talk in Russian for the first time, luckely the English subtiltes made sense. That’s where this game differentiates from other point&click games, it’s Russia style of handling things.

Well, it’s a russian game. Its main characters, Peter Isaev and Vasiliy Ivanovich Chapaev, were real people who served in Russian Civil War. Then, in 1934, came a very successful and popular film “Chapaev”, so this pair became the stable character of jokes and folklore, being popular for decades the USSR existed. They only lost their former glory in in 1990s-2000s, because of changed times and morals.
And, this game was made first decade after vanishing of that country, in a dark time for millions of people. Among questions that arose then, there was one, kind of philosophical - whither to move? For some people the way to get to the answer was - since the Union’s return in the nearest years seemed to be highly improbable, it’s reasonably to sum up all the previous experiense that country, consisted of every inhabitant, had, to highlest its best, to use it as base for building something some suitable for new circumstances, and then to move on.

The Deadly Tower of Monsters
On some rare occasions, a game is found which seems not only close to flawless but proves an absolute joy to play. A game like this stands up in a crowd and says, “Hey! You remember fun? Try this, maybe!” The Deadly Tower of Monsters is such a title. In perfect honesty the author nearly feels an aversion to publishing any opinion on The Deadly Tower of Monsters, as it feels like it would fall short of doing the game justice.
To summarize, The Deadly Tower of Monsters is effectively a platforming video game incarnation of Mars Attacks: a perfectly satirical nod to the greatness that was the pre-3rd millennium sci-fi B movie. Looking at it, one gets a vague notion that the developer ACE Team may have originally intended a slightly different product, and partway through the life cycle decided, “You see these stitches? That faulty lighting? Yeah, we do too!” and ran with it in a new direction like it was out of style. Every cliche and trope of 19xx’s science fiction makes an appearance while the indomitable protagonists Dick, Scarlet, and… Robot, in the interest of saving the downtrodden population of an oppressed planet of ape-people, try to overthrow a maniacally space-evil space tyrant in space.

I very rarely write reviews for games, but this is, by far, the most unique, enjoyable, humorous experience I have ever had playing a game. I believe I played for ten hours, and I didn’t play a single other game until I finished this one. Moreover, I will most definitely be revisiting it soon.
Usually, when game journalists say a game has a unique story, they’re just compensating for crappy gameplay and trying to elevate games to the “true artform” they wish it to be (even though every game is already clearly art). This game has it all: a story that is unheard of in the gaming universe; humor to please you endlessly; fantastic gameplay that ramps up in difficulty when you’re ready; 24 different and upgradeable weapons; and a look that you just won’t find anywhere else. The only thing I would note is that the combat isn’t very tight, but the game makes up for it in varying the gameplay and weapons as the game progresses, allowing you all sorts of unique and creative ways to kill stuff and solve other problems.

Kyle is Famous: Complete Edition
I played through every single one of the endings of this game. And although I would love to say ti was worth it, I cannot.
The humor is funny at first, but then you realize that the writer of this game has an obsession with vore/cannibalism/vomit and it’s pretty easy to predict the direction of every single ending. Also, there were many times when perfectly decent endings were drawn out to the point where it’s completely ridiculous and unfunny, like it’s necessary for Kyle to completely change society every time he dies.

The trailer for this game gave me major Stanley Parable vibes so I was excited to play it. Unfortunately the trailer is pretty misleading. The narrator reads out your choices and the results in a normal voice. There’s no emotion (confusion, anger, exasperation, etc), and there’s no additional comments. The only similarities with Stanley Parable are that playthroughs can unlock additional options for the next playthrough. As far as humour goes, it had the odd funny moment but most of it was just stupid, and not in a funny way IMO. Humour is very subjective though so I can understand some people liking it.
