Seance
Its a good 2D style anime Detective game with great Storyline mix with comedy. You play as duo partner with one having a power of speaking to dead spirits to find clues on the crime scene. Theres even different endings too which makes u to play it again to find other ending. A great game would recommend to try it out.

Principais pontos positivos:
1-Uma excelente história de detetive.
2-A trilha sonora é espetacular.
Principais pontos negativos:
1- Achei o controle por mouse estranho, então eu recomendaria jogar pelo teclado no lugar. Mas não é nada que impeça o usuário de jogar do começo ao fim usando só o mouse!

The Haunted Island, a Frog Detective Game
Words can’t describe how much of a masterpiece this “game” is, but I’ll give it shot.
I put game in quotes, because you can’t really call this a game, its more of a vivid memory of your distant self who is a frog detective. The instant I clicked on the “New Game” button I became Frog Detective.
Thanks to the innovative key bindings my keyboard and mouse could truly become an extension of my body, which only resulted in letting this experience become more real. Even though I only have 50 min in this “game” it felt like I went through an entire life of pure joy.

Short game and with childish art style but somehow unique and charming!
Developed by Grace Bruxner and Thomas Bowke, The Haunted Island, a Frog Detective Game is a short (~1h) by enjoyable adventure that puts you in the role of a lovely froggy detective, who is phoned by his supervisor to investigate a strange case. On an island ruled by Martin, a sloth who crowned himself king, unexplained noises can be heard from crevices. The sloth’s first reaction is to call in a group of ghost scientists, who spend the next two weeks trying to figure out what is going on. Trying, but certainly not succeeding. That is where the Frog Detective, come in.

I really enjoyed Trials and Traces: The Tomb of Thomas Tew, an earlier game by this developer, Because Because. It’s not available on Steam as of the writing of this review, but it is available over on itch.io. It was a nice little gem within a collection of other independent adventure games, with turned out to be a great purchase, because it put games like Death Has a Million Stomping Boots and Beard in the Mirror on my radar.
When Because Because released Detective Boiled-Hard, I jumped on it right away. This game is a bit on the shorter side, clocking in at about 90 minutes of play – but it’s a solid and enjoyable (and fully voice-acted!) 90 minutes. Detective Boiled-Hard never once pretends to be a serious game of any sort. It fully embraces bad jokes, self-referential humor, so-bad-they’re-amazing celebrity impersonations, and insane situations.

Detective Gallo
Comedy noir point’n’click with a sleek look, cool sound and a wobbly puzzle element. Mandatory cranky attitude and a trusty six-shooter included.
Hard-boiled detective Gallo has been called to investigate a peculiar case of murdered plants. Plants, yes. Considering that he didn’t exactly have a line of cases to solve out of the door, and someone needs to hear all the Gallo’s “Rules for Living” (those must be immortalized), he took the case. Arriving to the mansion of entitled snob and seeing the money, detective is fast on the track of a potential killer. There might or might not be aliens involved and, truth to be told, the whole thing is a mess, so it’s a good fortune Gallo has his pet cactus Thorn to consult on the most pernicious matters. If only we all were that lucky!

Detective Gallo is a point and click adventure game where you play as a chicken detective investigating the mysterious murder of some plants. The game is made in the style of classic point and click adventure games and is also a parody of the noir detective genre.
When the game begins, you see Gallo, a struggling detective, receive a call from Phil Cloro, a rich, eccentric bird who has just discovered that his plants are dead. Gallo investigates the case, discovering that things are seemingly more and more complex until he finally reaches an unexpected conclusion. While the story was generally enjoyable, it wasn’t always easy to follow the progression of the case, and the clues didn’t always feel like they were building to a logical conclusion.

Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard

First Impressions
Having recently played and reviewed the first game, which really disappointed me, I’m not at all looking forward to Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard (FD2). Considering how well received the first game was, I don’t see the developers changing up what they did the first time, as there’s no reason to fix something that’s not broken. Knowing I’d knock it out quickly enough, I decided to play it sooner than later to find out whether I was right or wrong. To spare any potential mystery, I wasn’t off the mark in my prediction.

Frog Detective is back! A delightful sequel to the original game
Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard picks up right after the events of the original game, The Haunted Island: A Frog Detective Game. In a lot of ways, the games are very similar, both are a short and easy point & click adventure game, where you play as the titular Frog Detective, who need to gather clues and figure out who the culprit is within the case. This time, you are aimed to solve a new mystery. You need to figure out who wrecked the parade the townsfolk of Warlock Woods were preparing to surprise their new neighbor, an invisible wizard?!

Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse
The third season of Sam & Max represents a shift in tone and gameplay. The changes are obvious from the very beginning - a narrator to set the scene, new control scheme (same as Tales of Monkey Island; clearly favouring consoles), a new villain, an opening tutorial of sorts (which is so entertaining and interactive that it puts most other tutorials to shame), psychic powers for Max and a grainier, darker graphical style.
It may sound like a lot of changes to a successful formula, but it works well. Not only does it provide a quite accessible introduction for newcomers to the series (including clever little pop-up profiles of characters and notes in a journal about the case and clues), but it also provides a fresh spin on the series for veterans.

This is more of the same from Telltale games, and yet it adds in some new tricks. The game is mostly the same point and click system the last two seasons of Sam and Max have had (And probably should be played in order) but Season 3 brings about special powers. Max gains psychic abilities early on in the season and they keep popping up as you play the game, helping solve a number of problems.
The story in season 3 is probably my favorite story out of all three seasons because it seemlessly fits together. Where the last two seasons seem a bit disjointed (in between episodes). In fact I really liked how this game fit together with out feeling forced.

The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark
The first one was really charming and I loved it. This one I can’t recommend. It boring and uninspired.
First of all, it doesn’t have the charm of the first one. Instead of delightful and creative music, I’m two hours in and its looping the same ugly track. The story is bland, the puzzles don’t make sense like they used to, and I find myself bored which never happened with the first. The dialogue has grown exponentially in all the wrong ways, and the jokes just aren’t cheesy funny anymore, they are just… bland.

A lot of (sometimes minor) characters from season 1 of The Darkside Detective make return appearances in this second season – it’s cool they keep building out the world like that – and to refresh my memory I started going back and replaying episodes from the first game while going through this one. And I enjoyed them so much again that I ended up replaying all of them in random order. That ended up making me feel as I finished this game up (except the, at this point, unreleased bonus episode) that the second season wasn’t quite as good as the first. But that’s a very high bar to try to reach, since I loved the first season. Main comparative downside for me was that it seemed like they aimed to build out longer episodes with more challenging puzzles, which was a good direction to take a lot of the time, but it was a bit marred by what seemed to me to be some excessively convoluted, directionless puzzles and moon-logicky item combinations that you needed to make and some cases of excessive backtracking through the larger environments trying to find something to interact with.

Penny Arcade’s On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3
This quickly became one of my favorite RPG’s as well as my personal favorite game in the PAA series, and with good reason. There’s quite a lot I’d like to say, so let’s get to it.
The game takes place 2 weeks after the events of Episode 2, but what’s neat is that you don’t need to have played it to understand the story going into Episode 3, as they immediately give you a summary of prior events upon talking to one of the statues in the Detective Agency. That alone makes Episode 3 easy to pick up and play, and the gameplay will keep you around for the long haul.

This game was an enjoyable throwback to 16bit turn based RPGs, but with a twist. They improved the combat system by adding some complexity without making it overly complicated. Since the core of all these turned based RPGs is mostly how well and fulfilling the combat is, the majority of this review will go over that section in detail to give you a greater understanding of how the game plays. I broke down the review in bold sections so you can read what is most important or what is most interesting to you in order of importance.
