I’ve been playing the game for about 14 hours now and while it was fun at start, some things started to annoy me:

  • First off, a dev who claimed (in discord) this game is worthy of a full release, which obviously is not the case).

  • Too many plots are taken by bandit camps and mining plots

  • Boats are buggy and can break sometimes (not allowing you to load resources on it)

  • It needs more optimization, i have a great pc but even for me the game started stuttering (ingame and sound)

  • Bandit camps need balancing. I have them with only kings, which requires a max level training field. By the time i can defeat them i have no more need for such resources you can get from them.

The Holy Silence

The Holy Silence

You wake up from a deep sleep with a terrible headache, and you see the dark, empty subterranean base.

You are saved by a traveler, from whom you learn that the world has experienced a disaster later called ‘The Holy Silence’. The sun suddenly disappeared, the world became dark, and the creatures and environment have changed beyond understanding.

Five races were born in the world, and humans became the common target of the new races. The combined strangling of ‘The Holy Silence’ and the five races made mankind retreat successively, and finally retreated to the underground base in order to survive.

  • Permanent Death - If your character dies, they die for good. Choose a new, random adventurer and embark on a new adventure. Even if you don’t manage to go far, your actions will have consequences that carry over to subsequent playthroughs. Dying is a natural part of the game.

  • Random Dungeons - Every playthrough brings completely different areas to explore. No shuffled predefined rooms - truly original locations every time.

  • Unique Setting - Visit Western Europe of the late 1700s to discover how scientists isolated from the outer world crossed boundaries dictated by known science to gain access to powerful forces reminiscent of magic. Gain answers to mysteries never before found on the pages of written history.

Idle Monster TD

Idle Monster TD

I really wish Steam had a neutral option. This game, for me, would be a case of “Yep, it’s okay” or “Fun under specific circumstances”.

Let’s get started!

Pros:

1. The game actually rewards you spending time interacting with it. The little helicopters that show up every so often will make you frequently check in on the idle game. While the rewards aren’t “outstanding”, an overall reward of 10% boost to damage of all your monsters for every 5 clicked can add up quite quickly if you’re active. There are also spells (which you can automate, but isn’t as effective for anything except the resource gathering spells) which you can activate in order to help push you through a wave.

I have been playing this game on a number of platforms and did test it on the Steam platform here. I truly like this game and it has kept me coming back since June. There’s always something else to build on, upgrade, or figure out. The developer is actively adding content, quality of life improvements and is still working on more.

It is not necessary to pay to progress and two of three of my accounts (Steam and iOS) are free to play. Yes, it takes longer as free to play, but everything is fully accessible and nothing is behind a pay wall. The good thing is that there is no one best set-up and all godly and immortal monsters are viable to use.

LandCombat:Ren

LandCombat:Ren

It’s a strategy game that focuses on ground war.

[Worldview]

The continental Tiracian has the Terra Empire and the National Union of Ren(Aron, Baekra, Cheollok, and Zili) is at odds with each other. The Continental War, which broke out as a result of the confrontation between the two camps, has decimated the power of all nations.

It served as an opportunity to make. The Royal Government of the Kingdom of ‘Baekra’ prevented the invasion of the Terra Empire in the Continental War.

It has consumed a great deal of financial and military power and has thus far been unable to exert complete control over the entire country. Each region and city in the kingdom of ‘Baekra’ is still trying to survive.

[Game Introduction]

Players start in a specific area, collect resources, produce a variety of units (trams, vehicles, etc.) and recruit heroes.

‘Unit Troops’ consisting of units and heroes are used to defend friendly forces and bases, or to expand friendly forces, with hostile forces in the region and unmanned tanks (UGVs).

Do not avoid battle. It gradually expands its power by occupying bases in other regions and forms a united kingdom. When the time is ripe, we will conquer the Terra Empire.

We welcome peace on a unified continent.

Age of Darkness: Final Stand

Age of Darkness: Final Stand

This game is simply a amazing and addictive game for RTS and tactical RTS gamers. By default, there is a pause feature allows you to queue unit actions, building construction, and tech research. You start with a small group of units and a hero. From there, you need to explore, expand, and exploit the land in order to survive waves of nightmares that attack from large dark crystals during death night at which you will suffer a malice during the night. If you survive, you may choose a blessing that will be with you the rest of the match. There are five death nights, and a final stand. The final stand on the highest difficulty is 80k enemies that attack from all the dark crystals. You have ranged, melee, and siege units at your disposal, as well as ballista towers, and flame bellow towers. Your economy management consists of farms to produce food for villagers, which in turn are used for housing income, and resource collection building, as well as units. Your units have a tech tree you can utilize to offers advancement as well. A green fog encroaches the land on death nights, which cannot be removed without building vision, or you survive the death night. Enemies vary from crawlers, slow, weak, but can be a challenge in number, to giant hulking crushers with massive hp and damage.

The Gameplay

Picture this scenario:

The days go by while you’re out exploring the map and expanding your base while those blue dots turn into red dots… one… by… one… And on the last day now with only 4 minutes on the clock you realize that the enemies are attacking from the worst possible spot.

You scramble together some defenses and you’re happy with the towers, their placement but you’re a bit short on the wall department but you’ve got 15 units guarding in front so it’s gonna be fine… Right?

Confusion

After the initial 10 minutes of “wth am I supposed to do” its not that bad, a hint for new players

! buy arrows at the market, kill deer, sell goods at the market, harvest herbs and sell at the market. Market is by the fire, sell item by dragging from inventory to bottom of inventory. Hire Archers at archer flag, assign to a wall by interacting and then hit left or right. There are 2 chests close by in the forests

Quite entertaining.. Once you know what you are doing.

All it need is a little story/lore at the beginning of the game about the main character and the objective, it took me 30 minutes to understand the objective of the game…

Other than that the game is perfect, the artwork is 11/10, game mechanics is 9.5/10, sound design is 10/10, and i haven’t found any bugs/glitches through out my gameplay

Stack Gun Heroes

Stack Gun Heroes

Stack Gun Heroes combines fast paced combat with addicting base building. Invent your own gun and take it on challenging missions to earn valuable resources. You process the loot back home in a factory of your own design.

Gun Building

The Stack Gun can be customized however you want. Will you make a gun that shoots sentry drones that chase and shoot enemies? A gun that abducts people into the upper stratosphere? Or maybe a gun that shoots yourself at the enemy, killing them with the impact damage.

These aren’t pre-made classes. Players invent their own strategies. Chances are you will come up with a playstyle the developer has never thought of.

Factories

Your base is a giant factory that you build with the Stack Gun. You will use it to process loot into items that make you more powerful. There are tons of base machines to build, you can unlock tech infinitely, and the factory has no maximum size.

Features

  • Make any gun. Want a gun that cuts off limbs? A gun that shoots guns at people? A gun that makes you fly? Why not all 3 in one? Combine any gun parts for whatever effects you want.

  • Get so much loot you need to design a factory to process it all. No boring menus, you interact with your machines by doing sick wall-jumps and wall-slides on them. Efficient production is radical!

  • Try out BILLIONS of procedural superpowers. Can you find a use for that power that teleports all nearby bullets wherever you point?

  • You can bring as many friends as you want into online co-op to beat very challenging maps, assuming you aren’t an incredible badass who has no friends.

  • Infinite endgame lets you advance in power forever. Start with “normal” FPS guns and before long you’ll be accidentally killing yourself with nukes 10x the size of the map and running into walls at supersponic speeds.

  • Test your most irritating guns on your friends in deathmatch. They can’t be mad. It’s for science!

  • Run through enemies, wall-slide down skyscrapers, dismember robots, collect superpowers, launch people into space. Every time there was a cool idea, it went in the game.

After 9 years and over 16,000 hours working on this project it’s almost ready. Stack Gun Heroes is my dream game. Hopefully it’s yours too!

Warpips

Warpips

Just the right amount of challenge so far in the early access version. Warpips has this odd mix of classic Command & Conquer nostalgia with the soundtrack and faux PS1 graphics while being its own style of game. The quasi hands off combat still has me managing multiple things at once and every playthrough is an absolute blast. I find myself coming back to it a lot to either spend a few minutes while waiting on something or spending hours just burning through the campaign yet again. Definitely worth a pickup if you’ve ever touched an RTS from the 90’s or early 2000’s.

DNA Farm

Very interesting game, the description says it all, clearly…but it runs well and feels fun! I keep saying it in these reviews, but I mean it…the price is a little too steep..this could be fun for a lot of people but…if they won’t spend 11 bucks, maybe the won’t see how good it is, anyways..just my thoughts. Not a bad game at all!
