Pocket Cars
200 character summary
PocketCars is a nice RC combat racing game with a lot of potentional It looks great and has very nice physics simulation, It does lack in content for now, But the gameplay is already extremely solid.
Gamemodes & Gameplay 7/10
The game only has one game mode for now, Seasons, Here there are 36 events, Some are time trials some are normal races some force the use of a specific car or tyre or only allow a certain class, Each race has 3 challenges, Like hit an amount of cars, evade mines, hit a certain laptime or finish first. You can do the same race 3 times to complete each challenge seperately. Each challenge gets you a star and a certain amount of stars in a season will unlock you cars, tires, weapons, but also new events and new seasons.

A lot of fun to play, but the regular graphical glitches are irritating.
This game is a ton of fun. Driving these cars around is a real hoot. They slip and slide and scramble for grip in a way that’s really engaging and reminiscent of real-life RC cars. It’s this that sets it apart from other driving games and provides a lot of enjoyment for young and old players alike. The challenge is fair, and you are encouraged to try out the various play modes. The ‘stunt’ mode is very inventive - allowing you to throw your car around in search of trick points. The weapons are OK but nothing to write home about.

Diesel Guns
(VERY LONG EARLY ACCESS POST)
Nowadays is really hard to find some good drive combat videogame, and while Diesel Guns is still in developement, it is still promising and has a good foundation.
Sayd this, maybe is because of it’s Early Access nature but there are things that definitely need improvement in order to make it a good game that can bring back the Drive Combat genre.
First off, let me list what’s good about it so far:
- Good weapons variety. I especially like that you can choose which weapons to equip for each kind, and apparently it seems there will be more in the future.

If you’re a fan of games like Hardware: Rivals and Vigilante 8, you’ll love this game. the balance of weapons seems just about perfect, and so does the gameplay. Everything just works great. The speed and pacing is perfect. You’re never struggling to try to make a certain mechanic like, ramming or ground pounding work right, it’s not TOO easy either, but it just feels… GOOD when you use it. as of right now, the game is severly lacking in overall content due to it being an early access alpha title, but what’s there will make the gameplay feel near complete when you’re in a deathmatch and blowing up enemies! But for $5, it’s absolutely worth the current state that it’s in.

Initial Drift Online
Initial Drift Online is of course using the hype of Initial D.
In this game you can easily find the best and most popular cars of the 80s', 90s' and 00s'
Video settings can be customised and it is easy to do so, therefore you don’t have to worry about your PC not running it.
Mouse&keyboard controls are easy, but won’t give you the best experience - my recommendation is a good, solid controller. Steering wheel controlling is buggy and may not work in some cases.
The starting AE86 is very weak and it heavily understeers, so don’t worry that you can’t get any good drifts or slides. Remember to change your suspension and wheel camber for the best experience!

My first impressions were rough. The brakes make you skid into everything, the steering is twitchy with horrendous understeer AND snap oversteer, but I found the tofu shop and accepted the tofu delivery jobs, driving the passes over and over (and over and over) again.
I spent some tofu money on better brakes and engine upgrades so the car was definitely faster, and thanks to suspension tweaks it handles more to my liking too, and the more I drive the better the car gets.
It’s not better just because I’m getting better at the game either, it’s because this game has a level up system.

OverShoot Battle Race
As a big fan of the original RRR I had to try this one out, and I have to say, it won’t let you down.
Overall the game is very well produced and for an early access game, I could only find very few minor issues that won’t reduce how much fun you will have.
The soundtrack is really good and the visuals are absolutely stunning, merging this kind of low poly style with flashy colors and visual effects definitely worked very well.
I only played alone but I assume it will be a blast playing online with my friends.

Amazing casual game. Looking at the screenshots one cant imagine how difficult it’s to steer the cars while avoiding get shot. Really addicting. Couldn’t find any bugs, showing how it’s very well done for an “early access”. I believe that is gonna be a great hit.

DeathCrank
Really entertaining game, great core gameplay and lots of fun with other people. Early access so still lacks some polish.
10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for fun multiplayer games with friends.

This game, even in its early stages, is a very satisfying and entertaining couch co-op. If you’re a fan of this genre, I encourage you to pick this up, get some friends together and play locally, or gift a few copies for the holidays and play online! I’m excited to see it develop, and was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly the dev’s are working out current issues with the game.

bought the Early Access Game, constantly crashing, freezes during the game, very buggy.
the idea behind the game is not bad, it actually seemed to be fun but the game itself, the engine not optimized.
maybe ill try later after public release.

Alright, so… I have trained using other virtual alternatives in the past, but they’re normally half way there on being a cycling simulator and half way being a game, so I personally prefer to just train while watching to youtube videos… Then I played this game! I am in love that they made this 100% a video-game in which you happen to train, I got trashed in about 30 minutes of playing and even threw a 1000+ watts sprint out of sored legs…. just because I wanted to respawn, lol!!!! I’m looking forward to have a lot more people on the servers so it doesn’t matter how weak the bots are, this can be a very competitive cycling/gaming scene!
