Outworlder

Outworlder

Outworlder, you have travelled wearily from some far-flung corner of the galaxy, across countless light years through the black expanse of space; now you find yourself crash-landed, your ship torn apart, your body cold, your stomach hungry, and your eyes searching for your destiny. From these desperate beginnings, an open-ended sandbox awaits.

Survive Harsh Planets

This isn’t Earth. You’ll battle changing weather conditions while trying to establish your new life. You may even have to go underground to escape blizzards, radiation storms, and more in randomly generated worlds!

Gear up through Exploration

Want to do more than survive? Seek out unique resources to research new technology and equipment, and take control of your planet. Maybe you’ll build rocket boots, or advanced survival clothing. Expect to face fierce resistance from raiders and wildlife intent on stopping you.

Thrive with Colonies

You’re not alone. Save other survivors and build a colony together. Assign tasks and orders to NPCs and create a place to call home in the stars. Manage their needs and they will help you go from survival to expansion.

Expand with Friends in Multiplayer

Feel like braving a planet with friends? Try one of the multiplayer modes and get everyone involved! Whether you want to have a peaceful cooperative colony, or cutthroat factions dueling for planetary dominance, it’s your multiplayer experience.

Remember the old days playing on your Digimon at school, well this game reminds me of that.. but on my PC playing over the net with friends. I have it on in the background as I’m working or playing other games. I’m really enjoying it and look forward to updates the Dev’s are working on.

Simple, yet requires a lot of strategy to set up character builds. Fun to play and break. Remember O’ Developer, the Beta Champion will one day beat you.

Also, I would recommend buying 11/10.

Take over the playful and rocky Smelogs to compete against each other for fun and honor!

A unique simple but clever technology tree. Where Up and Downgrading units and buildings at the right time is key. Units can morph into buildings and buildings into units. And can so change quickly from one Technology branch to another which allows you to out smart and maneuver your opponents.

While Upgrading restored the Smelogs health back to full health no matter if building or unit Downgrading will keep the health % but recoup some of your investment.

Besides the simple Tech Tree Smelogs Playground has all the RTS genre essentials you would expect from a great RTS game.

  • Base Building

  • Combat

  • Fog of War

  • Resource Management

World / Setting

Colorful and approachable art style in a mystical Aztec world.

High focus on readability ideal for genre newcomers and competitive play.

Initial Base Editor

The Initial Base Editor gives you strategic depth right from the start of the match. And allows you to accelerate your strategy before the match even starts.

The Map Generator generates randomly a new map at the start of each match. The map is symmetrical to ensure competitive integrity.

This will test your ability to adapt to the surroundings every match anew.

We have planned to release new theme-based content in a regular cycle featuring a Limited Time Gamemode with new unique mechanics.

Smelogs Playground has the genre typical mouse and keyboard controls. With some quality of life improvement which allows you to easier control and manage your units and resources.

Swords of Gurrah

Swords of Gurrah

Alright so there’s a popular review here that’s got like 100 people marking it as helpful, that review was posted around 5 months ago and the game has changed a lot since then, I’m just going to go point by point on their list of issues with the game to show how it’s changed since then.

Issue 1:

“The worse connection someone has, the less frames they have while fighting. This results in some people feeling unfair to go against given their moves are incredibly hard to read for being as laggy as they are.”

Real player with 240.0 hrs in game

TL;DR Best multi[player melee combat for VR yet. Real combat techniques produce real results.

I’m an armored combat fighter and weapons instructor for multiple historical and athletic groups, so I love me some hand to hand combat. I want to fight more often than I have meetings or events, so I like to dig around in VR for good fighting games. So far the only game that got close to scratching that itch in VR was Blade & Sorcery, which while fantastic is single player. This game handles completely differently from B&S but brings the most fun multiplayer that I’ve seen yet.
