The Black Heart
CHECKLIST
☑ A stabby, murderous child
☑ Grudge noises
☑ A tree that can, and will, kick fruit in your face
☑ An undying, genderswapping masochist
☑ A sexy spider lady
☑ A Lovecraftian worm creature that just-so-happens to be purple
The Black Heart features these six vastly different playable characters, each representing a different aspect of horror. They all mesh together into a smooth, satisfying fighting game that is wildly underrated in the mainstream FGC. The story and presentation are top-notch, as is the music and sound design.

A cool looking fighter game with horror and gore? sign me in!
At the time of writing this review I haven’t played the game a whole lot, but what little I did experience was very good!
…for the most part at least.
The only negatives I can think of are: the lack of content, and the lack of characters (although considering the price it’s no wonder that there isn’t as much content as in other fighting games). I understand that this might drive some people away from it. But if you happen to be brave enough I can guarantee that you won’t be dissapointed!

DARK MAGIC
This is a great platformer game, honestly you should get this game for it’s price. Great lore, well thought out platforming, fun combat with interesting enemies, for the most part great sound design, all around great game.
The only issue i have with the game is the sound that plays when you attack is a little harsh, i think it should be a quieter, more subtle sound that doesn’t drown out all other sounds and the music. 8/10 game.

Darkened Glory
First and foremost you have to keep in mind that this game is in the alpha version / early access, and it could be changed by the time it is a final product. The mechanics of the game are similar to a Souls style games, it’s not yet polished but it has the basics. It currently just has an Arena for PvP, but there will be Singleplayer / CO-OP campaign too in the future. It has a distinct Slavic / European flair to it, which i personally very like. The recent updated came along with level editor which is a nice feature. Optimization is usually really good with drops (drops occur from the fire animations, devs are aware of it and will fix it eventually), i have a 1060 6gb, i7, 16gb ram and i am in the 100-144fps range. Final verdict: buy the game if you want to support it’s development, it’s unpolished currently, but looking at how much the game is updated, a year from now the game will be in a completely different state, i can only assume it’s going to be in a better state!

a very fun game !! the maps are very good quality and the characters are consistent with the type of game darkened glory is.
I absolutely recommend this game!

Lost in Random™
As much as it pains my heart, I cannot recommend Lost in Random. While it started off as a visual feast for the eyes, embodying the art style of Tim Burton and feeling like playing a live-action version of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the game was clearly rushed to production, and its quality suffers heavily because of it.
Here are the major detractors for Lost in Random:
- Repetitive game play, lack of variety (the card mechanic and its related interface are unnecessarily difficult to navigate and, when you finally do figure out how it all works, you will get bored)
– Real player with 32.7 hrs in game
Lost in Random is a gorgeously crafted adventure in a fairy tale world, with lots of Alice:Madness Returns vibes and a Burton~esque art style.
Without spoiling much about the story, you live in the world of Random, a kingdom with 6 districts that’s being overseen & ruled by an Evil Queen. You control a cute girl named Even, searching for her sister Odd, which gets “abducted” in the beginning of the game by the Queen to her castle.

Sur
It has so far been a fun and challenging 2D pixel art survival horror game. Would recommend.

Nevermore: The Chamber Door
In the poem The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, the narrator is faced with a creature that enters his room and remains on the bust of Athena, goddess of wisdom, thus placing himself above reason and logic. The crow speaks only one word, “Nevermore”, which the narrator interprets in different ways to answer his own questions.
In THE CHAMBER DOOR something similar happens, but before Athena a door opens, a portal to another world of creatures and demons of nightmares. While the dark-feathered raven contrasts with the marble of Athena, of light and darkness, life and death, our hero is taken by something above reason, making him enter that door with the certainty of the unknown.
THE CHAMBER DOOR is a game of introduction to the NEVERMORE universe. You will be introduced to fluid combat mechanics and endless possibilities. Aggressiveness and agility is the basis of combat, you will be rewarded in a combos ranking system where your variety of blows is your greatest weapon, but beware, NEVERMORE contains dangerous creatures and any mistake can be your last.
As you progress through the game, you’ll craft exclusive mirror cards to build your character according to your combat style. Each card can bring new abilities, new mechanics or even improve your stats.
When passing through the CHAMBER DOOR you will face hordes of varied enemies in an arena system, at the end of each level you find a passage to proceed to the next one. As you defeat these hordes, you will eventually come across more powerful entities and stronger bosses.
If you fail and get defeated, you will return to the first level, however, in a roguelike system, you keep the souls you captured in your last adventure to evolve your charms through the statue of Athena, thus becoming stronger and more prepared to advance further more on your next try.
