Outworlder
Outworlder, you have travelled wearily from some far-flung corner of the galaxy, across countless light years through the black expanse of space; now you find yourself crash-landed, your ship torn apart, your body cold, your stomach hungry, and your eyes searching for your destiny. From these desperate beginnings, an open-ended sandbox awaits.
Survive Harsh Planets
This isn’t Earth. You’ll battle changing weather conditions while trying to establish your new life. You may even have to go underground to escape blizzards, radiation storms, and more in randomly generated worlds!

Songs of Syx
TL;DR: Paid full $25 USD. Definitely worth it, great balance between DF and Rimworld while doing it’s own new thing. Saves not migrating versions stinks, but understandable for a complex EA game.
Amazing. Still EA and some missing features, but what is here is very well built!
I was initially turned off this game because I played a much earlier demo, but this game has grown into something truly impressive! Games in this genre tend to fall under “Dwarf Fortress” or “Rimworld”, and often fail to measure up to either. Songs of Syx strikes right between DF’s sense of scale (but then skyrockets past it as your city-state grows), and Rimworld’s friendlier UX allowing you to actually enjoy playing (but UX scaled for a massive city-state, not a couple dozen colonists).

TLDR: 8/10 (Humble aesthetics, clunky UI, but does the game play have a real arse on it…)
Songs of Syx is an increasingly curious city-builder. Though it clearly has a bit of development to undergo (0.56 is the version I am reviewing), it is making leaps and bounds with each update. Sure, maybe it’s not a whole lot to look at and things are a bit muddy and cluttered, but that’s forgivable since its function is handled with such care.
Concept
This isn’t your typical hands-on city-builder or village survival game. While it shares a lot of ground with games like Rimworld or Dwarf Fortress, it’s functionally its own game thanks to your inability to manage individual citizens. Which is kind of a blessing, since you don’t want to be able to nit and pick when you’ve bloated to a city with 1,000+ people.

Diggles: The Myth of Fenris
Very surprised Diggles/Wiggles has appeared on Steam, but VERY happy it did!
This is an unique game; nothing really compares to it then (20 years ago), and since then no game has been published (to my knowledge) that comes even close to it. So i almost immediatly bought it (again).
Didnt play Wiggles for years as the original sadly wasnt compatible with ‘newer’ Windows-version. (Could play the official Demo a bit longer though.)
Although graphics is a bit outdated and gameplay is quite slow, the game concept is so good, it was and still is the best game i ever played.

WTF!?! Who’s feet do I have to kiss for finally bringing this game to Steam!! If you ever played and enjoyed, Oxygen not Included, and the new early access game, Hammerington, then you will like this game as well. I even purchased those aforementioned games in the hopes to fill the hole this game left in me decades ago. While a bit dated on graphics (released in 2002), the game still has its same charm and is still very playable. By the end of the game, your dwarves will be riding around on hover boards, and brandishing light sabers. How can you go wrong with that? Thank you

The Ancient Lands
I was peeking around steam for a new survival game and stumbled upon this beauty. I’m a huge fan of indie and 8 bit games and this really does it for me.
It’s a wave based survival game. So build your walls and your army and survive for as long as you can!
It’s quirky and new and was released on steam 6 days ago! I’m really looking forward to what this game has to offer!

Infectra
This is a good game, but it has potential to become an even greater game.
Here are some of the Pros and Cons when you buy this game
Pros
-
Fun and Challenging Levels
-
Strategy is needed to complete the levels
-
Good Cutscenes
-
Good Graphics
Cons
-
Maximum of four buildings can be built at any one time
-
Sometimes it requires more luck than strategy to complete the levels because of the building queue system.
-
The Ion Cannon is unusable in some of the levels because by the time you get to use it, nearly all the infected have destroyed either the control gates or barriers and powerplants.

Great quality, smooth visuals and challenging missions - all wrapped in a cool storyline.
Instant recommendation, just a must have.
I hate power plants though xD

Kingdom Builders
Kingdom Builders
Kingdom Builders is a brand-new casual, light-hearted city builder with a kid-friendly tone and great visuals. The game revolves around an outcast prince who is trying his best to set up a safe city for his people.
Throughout the review, I’ll be bearing in mind that this is an early access title with limited features currently in place, but from where I stand the game base is good.

Barely any content, no real goals or way to beat the game, repetitive, and the challenge of surviving can be eliminated entirely. The only good things about this game are its art style and sound design. Wait until one year or so until it is out of early access to purchase this game. In my opinion this is a little more than a tech demo.
As of August 6, 2021 here are the pros and cons of this game:
Pros
-Cute art style and excellent sound design and subtle background music.
-Few but interesting enemy types with unique attack patterns.
