Crystal Raiders VR

Crystal Raiders VR

Nice VR game with full body avatar. Played it from game test, beta test and during early access tests. Improved a lot during the early access. Like the bow very much. The added story with artifact collection and new enemy Golem (like mini boss) enlightens the game. In general, there is big improvement from the play-test in spring, and its cool. Can recommend it!

Cool new VR game with co-op mode! Played for 3 hours, and like it a lot. Very beautiful castle surroundings and those bombs - nice. Sometimes feels difficult, a lot happening around. FPS good - played on RTX2060, I5. The chicken in coop is fun. Good idea, how to stay in a game.

Slightly recommended if you’re looking for something that’s a little janky but can be played with friends. I’m sure this would be better with friends who can guard and cook but maybe too easy to start.

The idea is solid and reminds me of overcooked but with enemies. You’re trying to handle kitchen duties while enemies burst in and attack them. They’re pretty quick and once the enemy latches on it’s pretty much over. The powers (attacks) feel very weak and it’s incredibly difficult to aim.

If I was going to suggest improvements it would be:

16 hours between Wulfgar / Drizzt Solo and Multiplayer before deciding to put my 2 cents.

First I’ll start by saying that two main complaints are legitimate but pretty exaggerated.

  • Netcode does need work and diminishes the value of twitch mechanics which otherwise work flawlessly Solo but at the same time you’re in a group so unless you’re the type to scream “But I pressed the button!” and rage. It’s mostly an annoyance right now and not bad enough to kill enjoyment of the game.

  • Enemy AI is indeed a bit derpy taking “Action Movie” turns to attack the player. This is most notable Solo. At the same time if the enemy were to aggro stick the player all at once I doubt it would be Solo’d above 2. Hero difficulty. Far as I’ve seen the issue with hitting enemies from range, esp bosses is generally fixed and in the end this isn’t a competitive game. I’ve seen 5/5 star games where the AI is still easily exploited. Just play the game and stop trying to break it.

To start this review, many of the first negative reviews, and highest rated ones, are both much too critical and based off of a low amount of hours.

This game is marvelous, but it would be ignorant to write this review and say there are no issues. Of course, there are some glaring issues. But many of them are no where near as detrimental as some of the high rated negative reviews make them seem.

The worst issue in my opinion is the lackluster AI. Many of the enemies, simply won’t attack you, if you don’t start attacking them. And you get warmed up to that very fast. However, there are some AI, who are very aggressive, and being warmed up to AI not generally attacking you, it makes it feel like… a normal game. However, if you’re playing with a team, I have not yet encountered an enemy who will actively attack you whilst reviving a teammate.

BADA Space Station

BADA Space Station

Badass aims to bring short bursts of intense action by pitting you and your pals in an Arena against hordes of different enemies. The players will need to navigate through the different Arena Segments, killing all enemies that are sent against them and survive in order to win.

This is a co-op focused game. Gather your friends, stay close and coordinate in order to survive. At launch, there will be four available characters to choose from, all different and with unique playstyles.

All Characters share a similar control scheme. However, their Core Attacks, Weaponry, and Skills vary. This will have players make several choices on how they want their character to play out. Character progression is set by earning promotions and each new skill might open a whole new playstyle that you maybe had not yet considered. Do not get cocky though, the waves are randomized and you will not know what exactly comes next. So choose your skills and character wisely.

THE BRUTE

What happens when you combine Chewbacca and Conan the Barbarian? A furry brutality happens. Revel in the guts of your enemies as the first to enter the action and the last to leave. Use your gigantic Gun-Sword and either dismember or shoot your weakling enemies. Brawns is not the only thing this character has, from Explosive Rounds to Inspiring Brutality, this character has much more than meets the eye.

THE PUPPETEER

Like going fast? Like dodging bullets like nobody’s business? Like transforming your hand into a boomerang and throwing it around dismembering your unfortunate enemies? Then the Puppeteer is for you. Damage per second is her thing, and she does not shy away from playing dirty by becoming a blob that makes her invisible to her enemies. She can also fuse with other friends or foes, giving advantages or disadvantages to them.

THE SCARLET MAGNET

If you like tanking all the damage and if you like humiliating your enemies by using your Gravity Gun, then the Scarlet Magnet is for you. The best crowd control abilities will be at your disposal and on top of that you can use your Gravity Gun to traverse or manipulate the environment. You don’t like where our level designer has put the explosive barrels? Just pick them up and throw them at the poor souls in front of you.

DR. SCRAP

He might not look like it, but he is the smartest of the bunch. So smart that he modified his office chair into a machine of death. His Melee Attacks are nothing to boast about, but he does not need them. He is all about pure firepower and gadgets. All kinds of machinations can pop out of his chair, from Healing Turrets to Explosive Spiders, and if the worst happens, he can simply pick up his chair pieces and carry on with the fight.

BUT WAIT-

Why all this aggression? Why the violence? Can’t we all live peacefully?

**ABSOLUTELY NOT.**The premise is simple:

In this far far away galaxy a very odd Event happened a long time ago. The sun stopped emitting the usual rays that… you know… suns do. Instead, it started emitting pure badass hormones. As a result, every living thing in this galaxy became super pissed and macho, creating chaos that lasted ages. But the Big Four Companies did not like the chaos, as it decreased sales. Yes, capitalism existed - even before the Event - and no matter what the money needs to flow.

MEET YOUR SPONSORS

They created the BADA Space Station and started having their employees fight in the Arenas in order to promote their products to their now bloodlusted customers. Simple advertisements did not cut it anymore. On the other hand, advertisements from the most badass creatures in the galaxy were priceless. You would only buy something from someone stronger than you. And that’s where you come in.

  • Choose your Character.

  • Fight with your friends against countless enemies.

  • Promote the Sponsor Products during the battle.

  • Earn their Influence for a wide variety of Bonuses.

  • Level Up.

  • Unlock up to 20 Skills.

  • Gather randomly generated Loot.

it could be a great AAA+++ game and if it were not for the constant grinding to keep oxygen and food and I mean constant, with very little way of upgrading to make it not so like a grind fest just to stay alive, it reminds me of Breathe in the worst way, just to make the game seem longer. There is no reason to make it this mind numbing tedious and just plain old not needed to this extent that you forget your on a mission. I’m really a big farming fan and I have been called a hording hoe because i will go out of my way to gather and loot days on end before i do anything else or go to the next mission. if a game gets me not wanting to farm there has to be something wrong. Remember this is just my own opinion you might like none stop farming to the point you forget there is point to the game. Good luck and I hope the game devs do something about it because I don’t see it going AA forget about anything more then that. But what do I know after 25 billion plus years of gaming, will it feels it. Later All. Update, I have no problem with criticism if some one does not agree or has a different opinion because even I might not be correct about something. What I wont do is bother listening to some ass-hat who creates an account and has no games or any comments and has to make it a point to tell me why I’m wrong or why I should like something. It looks like a deceptive dev move many try or some one who has some type of involvement with the game trying to make the reviewer look like they are being hard on a game or unreasonable for having an opinion that they don’t like or make the game not look so good. I would have left the review at that and when I played for more hours and had more time and maybe found a reason to change my review I would have. Do NOT leave a comment on my review, IF YOU HAVE A BRAND NEW ACCOUNT WITH NO REVIEWS AND NO GAMES! It will be deleted. Any other real players comments will be left up no matter what they have to say about the review or what their opinion is.

Overall I enjoyed the game but, CASUAL PLAYERS BE WARNED!

First, this game is NOT a base builder early on. If you plan to hunker down at the start and work on building a little foot hold for yourself, you will be overwhelmed with void rift spawns and you will find navigating the map mid-game to be absolute torture.

Base building is mid-game ONLY. Early game you must focus on collecting basic items and progressing through the story objectives as fast as you can.

Wow, is amazing. Chaotic and in some moments peaceful, and I really really love the cars and characters xD, very good early access. The online mode is perfect to play with my friends, but I suggest that at the end of one online race, keep in the room with the same players, althougt I understend that is a recent release

A nice and fun arcade racing game with some original mechanics and nice details like the cars (I miss some iconic cars like a doggo van), Since I use the keyboard I will love to be able to change the keys, also I want to see what the developers have to offer during the EA.

Battle Engine Aquila

Battle Engine Aquila

It’s a genuinely fun and, dare I say, original game with lots of love and attention put into it. You play as a transforming, arguably overpowered super-mech that can lay waste to the battlefield on land and from the air. The battles are nicely simulated and have a good sense of scale (for a game that’s almost 2 decades old), and the over-the-top explosions and general mayhem is surprisingly good for stress relief.

The story campaign will be your main focus in the game. Here, individual missions are graded based on your performance, so there’s some form of replayability. The campaign is highlighted by several exhilarating and creative boss fights, and, though it’s nothing to write home about, there’s also something of a branching storyline.

This is a great game and I loved it when I was a kid. now that I’m an adult I was dying to replay this game as it held such good memories. The nostalgia was amazing and I love the game even more. the flying controls are some of the best I’ve seen in any game and the ground to air transition makes things so easy to keep up with the games fast pace later in the more difficult levels. I would love a remake with how big games get now, I can imagine how awesome the game would be with more levels, detail, more choices for weapons and online multiplayer. it would be so much fun. Alas, that’s unlikely to happen but I have hope.
