Invasion 2: Doomed
This game is the sequel to “Invasion: lost in time”, the main characters are the same but the plot is different and it is always based on the same style as the previous one, it’s a science fiction adventure genre with a futuristic plot, focused on finding objects in various scenarios and interspersed with minigames.
MY IMPRESSION:
Very nice graphics, wonderful sceneries with snowy landscapes where the sky is not blue but violet, beautiful sunsets, and mountain views.
Excellent sliding playability never frustrating and simple, the object-seeking scenes are not classic conventional but pleasant and engaging because they require you to interact with various objects to obtain others, one thing struck me favorably:

If you enjoyed Invasion: Lost in Time, well, this is a direct continuation of the story and of comparable quality. Which, for the most part, is a good thing: more great and original puzzle mini-games and more of the exciting, fast-paced sci-fi story.
However, we also have the same buggy game engine. With the previous game I could not play in 4K. With this one I can only play in 4K, but that means text is often very tiny and also clicking on dialogs does not dismiss them. I could still finish the game and it didn’t bother me too much, but … awkward. Worse, once again there were bugs that forced me to quit and return to the game. Again, I could still finish the game.

After You
I enjoy a challenge so I jumped into this game. You play (from a 1st person perspective) a guy who has just woken up and found that everything around him has changed. There are police cars, crime tape, and evidence of bloodshed. You decide to hit the road but have to jump through a series of puzzles before the car keys become available.
The first chapter puzzles were fairly straightforward, once I found my entry point (which was obvious, with 20/20 hindsight). I then drove out to Chapter 2 which went well until I ended up totally stuck with one item in inventory and nowhere to go. It is a very dark landscape and, after hours of stumbling around with a flashlight, I needed a hint to proceed. Turns out the clue was right in front of me and I had not recognized it in the dark.

Murder On The Island
This game is reviewed for TentacleBunny's Cozy Cottage who generously offered the steam-key for Murder on the Island that was provided to the Curator
Background
This is the first Visual Novel by the renamed Forever Young Games which previously released Global Soccer Manager simulations under the same name. It is written by Márk Kovács as an experimental foray into this genre and it’s purely a Kinetic visual novel where an holiday island owner interviews the remaining 13 holiday-makers after 1 is discovered murdered on the 1st day of a week’s stay on the Island.

Murder on The Island is pretty much a Detective Kinetic Novel were you try to find the Murderer. Sadly you can only try to solve it by reading the Story. You dont get any Choices or get to decide on who did it in the end. Nevertheless just for the Case and the Infos you get while playing i found it quite interesting. It took me axactly 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete which would have been faster but you have to wait for the text to completely pop up and you cant set it to instantly.
So just the Story is quite good, however there are also a lot of things I didnt like about it. The Art is just average and the Translation has a few Grammer mistakes that are pretty obvious. The Game also feels laggy as it is completely in 30fps and the Menu is very minimal. You also dont get a Skip feature or any of the other feature you normally expect of a VN.

Cellular Harvest
This is a terrific short form game. I made sure to get all the photos and play both versions. A good hour and a half of exploration and walking.

Cellular Harvest is a short but sweet experience. It’s hard to describe much about it that you can’t see in the store page description without spoilers. It’s a dark, creepy take on the small Pokemon Snap genre!
Things to Know:
-
It’s pretty short, 30 minutes. Nothing wrong with a short game, but $7 feels a little steep for something this length with no replay value. (Maybe $3-$5)
-
The only difference between Green and Purple is one is day and one is night respectively. It’s just a lighting and color swap, nothing else changes.

Christmas Stories: The Christmas Tree Forest Collector’s Edition
Bought this game for the girlfriend. She’s big on Christmas and HOGs. Played it together in one long session, to complete the main story. The puzzles are super doable, we never had to skip one. We did take hints at times, but overall you’ll rarely if ever feel stuck. All in all, if you’re familiar with the hidden object games published by Big Fish, this is pretty much the same good ol' stuff, wrapped nicely in a Christmas theme.
Highly recommended for the fans, but get it when it’s on sale. I’m not saying the game is not worth its price, taking into account the amount of work it went into doing all the artwork and the soundtrack / voice acting, etc, I’m just saying that right now you can get Stardew Valley, Tomb Raider or Hollow Knight for the same money.

Who is the Liar?
I loved the art direction chosen for this game. It combines pieces that look like they came out of the board game Clue with beautiful, more realistic 3D scenarios and comics iconographies. The game also has an engaging story and charming characters.
With all of these elements at the developer’s disposal, the game practically begs for more content. Since it is still in early access, it is sure to develop into a great game.
Very promising!

A fun game, very well produced. The visuals are incredible, combining cartoon 2D and stunning 3D. A humorous narrative, it reminds me of the movie Knives Out with its crazy eccentric family. Looking forward to play the next stories in the final version.

Hidden Object - Sweet Home
Ok, I am an historian (at least I should be one) and I admit I’m really not accustomed that much to computer programming or game developing, but this game - which has the usual settings window before launching it, in which you can choose to play windowed or full screen, the resolution and the graphics quality - when put in tray or in the ctrl+alt+canc window (ok sorry readers, my PC interfaces are all in Italian or in French and I don’t remember now its name ahah) it’s called “Woman House”.
Quite different from the game title on the Steam store..

How can anyone like this. Ok it’s a game where you search for hidden objects, that’s cool, but why do you have a story that was written by a 9 yo girl it’s so bad. The characters face is so badly photoshoped, just use someone from real life. If I had to rate this game I would give 2/10 just because Iike searching for hidden objects. Also can someone tell the dev what hidden object looks like the game on hard mode AKA the last 5 lvl out of 15 btw, every object you click on is collected and it’s just super boring and I am going to keep it running on background only to get the stupid achievement. Litterally who would spend their time on this game legitly playing it. There is like one million of free online games so why would you spend your 1,59€ on this game. I got it for free so it doesn’t matter to me, but just why would you do this. How would I make it better you might ask: 1. Delete the story 2. Make the objects look like they aren’t photoshoped in it 3. Make more than 15 lvl in which you have 5 different rooms 4. Make it free or for 99 eurocents 5. Make a level selection 6. Add mute audio 7. Don’t add more languages if you don’t even know them just don’t translate them with google thx 8. Add some real objects not like mushrooms in kid’s room I hope your kids don’t have them there 9. Don’t loop one song it becomes annoying as hell just loop 3 or more songs NOTE: If you wanna argue with me about that this game is not bad etc. I allowed comments

Mystery Case Files: Crossfade Collector’s Edition
Its pretty good; I like revisiting games from the past. Speaking of, who was the genius behind the Big Fish Mega Puzzles from Dire Grove and Fates Carnival? Where are you hiding them??!! I MISS THOSE!!!

This one had refreshingly different puzzles, and after, let me go back and find collectibles I missed, I like that. I would say give it a go for sure…

Mystery Hotel - Hidden Object Detective Game
This one is mostly on par with the other games made by Crisp App Studio. It’s a bit on the short side, you definitely want to get all accomplishments completed on every level to get you monies worth. Best to wait for a sale.
It’s a shame you can’t scroll through the high scores and it’d be nice to see more than 3 scores at once.
The English is improving.

Your arrival at the Hotel associated with a mysterious murder and only you can get to the bottom of the truth.
This game is about solving the “Hotel Noir” riddles, so I recommend it to all who loves to collect puzzles, match clues and search differences.
Pretty interesting and detailed locations, animations, music - all of this makes playing experience even more breathtaking!
