Quarantine Cutz
It’s day 87 of the quarantine, and you’ve run out of options. You’re going to have to cut the family’s hair yourself. There’s just one problem: You have no idea what you’re doing!
Choose to play as either Pappa Smith or Momma Smith, each with their own special secret haircut skill. Each family member will ask for a haircut of their celebrity idol, who of course you’ve never heard of. Using a magazine as a guide, you’ll be graded on how closely you can match their dream haircut: “Soul Crushing”, “Terrible”, or most impressive of all, “Barely Passable”.
Each level challenges you to give a different family member an increasingly tricky haircut, culminating in the most difficult surprise challenge of all.
Key Features:
-
Master ludicrously uncontrollable jittery clippers that veer out of control at the slightest mistake.
-
Learn how to prevent ruining haircuts from increasingly unruly family members who resist and fight you at every turn.
-
A story that reveals the fates of the family members and their new hairstyles when the quarantine finally ends.
Can you overcome your jittery nerves and pop culture obliviousness to give your children a haircut that won’t crush their hopes and dreams? Probably not, but it’s worth a shot.

International Space Banana
I just got this because of the minute hour dude. I kept coming back to this like an abused partner. the level with the shifting gravity was particularly brutal. worth it on sale lol.

honestly just get it for the dialogue alone. This game is great! Yes it can be rage inducing, Yes it will make you want to buy all the banana’s at the super market and blend them out of pure hate. But I still highly recommend it!

Drunken Fist 🍺👊 Totally Accurate Beat ‘em up
I mainly recommend this game because it’s very cheap and it’s a very unique fun concept with the physics based fighting. More games should use proper physics. There is a sufficient amount of different moves to make it rather interesting. (although I’d add a few more)
However I think it’s far from desirable. It feels unpolished / unfinished with many features, such as key rebinding and level select are missing on release.
I also don’t like the “drunken” part. Sure, it’s advertised in the title, but in practice it means that the game is hard to control and clunky. While some could consider the result funny, I can only think of it as frustrating, as things often don’t work as I expect.

Tl;dr: Drunken Fist is a silly game that needs a lot of work. It feels like an Early Access title, but it’s being sold as a finished product.
The Good
- Silly and good for a laugh* Charming art style
The Bad
- Priced a bit higher than it should be for the quality/amount of content ($2 - $3 seems more reasonable)* Controls aren’t always responsive* Lacks something as basic as the ability to exit the game from the main menu* Player character can get stuck inside the scenery

Guppy
Relaxing fun, especially when you get good at swimming fast.
Controller support didn’t work for me (Steam/Linux) but configured as keyboard instead.
For the price well worth a punt.

Guppy is a poetic game, which lets you control a fish by moving its tail left and right.
No other control is used; and every movement of the tail is propelling the fish in the direction of the movement. Used alternatively, left and right movements allow the fish to progress forward, or any way you so desire; by gauging how much of each movement to produce.
Both the left and right sticks can be used; but the game really shines when shoulder controls are used, epecially the analog ones. I am unsure as if the game is using them in an analog fashion (I think not), but using them feels most natural to me.

Godly Corp
What a great hidden gem!
A game where you play as a tentacle monster working in an office already promisses originality.
I was reluctant at first, not beeing an avid indie games player, but after playing it for a bit, it really grew on me.
The controls take a while to master, which is a good thing: the feeling of achievement after beating harder levels on hard difficulty is truly great!
The game isn’t very long, about 2 - 4 hours on average to play through all levels. It isn’t a bad thing though, because you can always keep trying to beat the previous high score or other players’ scores on theglobal leaderboard.

The Short of it: Not exactly my cup of tea in the long run, but I get why it’s popular. It can be funny, frustrating, and challenging. I think the humour is its best quality. It truly tests your multi-tasking limits.
Reminds me of: If you liked any of those surgeon simulator type games, you’ll probably like Godly Corp.

Goop Loop
During the frustrating first play-through of this game I was convinced that it was not a game where you would eventually be able to consistently get past obstacles but I immediately proved myself wrong in the second run. Don’t get me wrong it is still hard but it is definitely a lot more manageable. I definitely recommend it if you like foddian games and if you aren’t afraid of a challenge.

Physics platformers are notorious for being insanely hard.
This one’s no exception. But it does have some quirky/clever vocal (English only) tutorial, that only really speaks up if and when you’re having trouble. I was actually quite amused by how the game knew when to say “You should slow down”, versus pretty much pre-emptively telling me I screwed up when I passed a point of no return.
It’s like having the developer commentary from Half-Life (But more quirky/punny), the goopiness of Gish (With more freedom of movement), and the jankiness of, well, basically every physics platformer out there. My hand started hurting after about an hour, so I had to take a break, but I’ll definitely be trying to finish it after I take a break.

YOLKED - The Egg Game
The moment I saw the concept of the game, I knew this was going to be very fun. Having a “casual” kinetic platformer/climber game with egg theme totally works, not just on screenshots and videos.
The game is somewhat comparable to stuff like Getting Over It, Jump King or even classic QWOP except here you have checkpoints and your egg character can easily crack/die(get yolked) instead of just falling all the way down to the level and losing all progress.
Visuals of the levels are well made and there are a lot of details/humour from devs, you might even call there is a “story” in each background. And artistically, it reminds me of Bit Trip Runner 2 and 3 art style, with how everything is wacky, chaotic, and related to you, everything is big obviously.

Had an egg-credibly fun time exploring this with my community!
Eye-pleasing graphics, great music & very satisfying egg violence.
The checkpoints are placed well to reward overcoming the challenges in each level.
Fellow grown-ups might enjoy it even more with their favourite adult beverage!
Not super long, but for an early access game what you get is well polished and there’s bits and pieces to explore off the main path. Looking forward to seeing what gets added!

Because its hot! Prologue
So you’ve read the description and now you’re down here in the comments trying to figure out what’s it all about. Click the video above to see some of the gameplay, mechanic and hear my thoughts on the game.
Because its hot! - Why pizza? (prologue) is a colorful puzzle platformer that will have begging for more. The graphics are sharp and pop right off the screen. They are a combo of fever dream and 80’s neon blasting your eye sockets. The music is subtle but enriches the atmosphere and gameplay. The controls will test your gamer merit by all the different mechanics at play here. There is a slight degree of difficulty controlling the head, arms and movement individually (as well as together) but not in a bad way.
