Dashing Fire
Finding the game very fun, i haven’t beaten it yet but i find the game tense and tight. The design is very thoughtful and encourages tactical decision making. Also the art of the game is very nice. The few things i have against the game is I fins it much too easy to buy shortcuts before you’ve been to an area, practically disincentives playing the game, the other thing is that after playing for a while some of the areas can get quite repetitive. Other than those small gripes the games is great and would definitely recommend to any fans of rogue likes.

This is such a cool little indie game! It’s so worth it! It’s basically a point and click rogue-like but it has way more depth to it then just that. There are 4 worlds for you to discover and traverse around, each with their own unique gameplay mechanic. In each world, there are 3 levels which once completed you will face one of three random bosses for that area. If you complete all 4 worlds, you fight the final boss to complete the story but there is so much replayability as you can earn currency to spend on lore and short-cuts.

TOK
Brief about this game
Tok is simple but timed puzzle game where you need to rotate various pieces to make paths from the start to the end, with no loose ends in between.
Click on the “O” once done, to finish the round. If there are no loose ends in between, and all the ends are connected, the round completes. Keep an eye on the timer though, on level 45+, it gets pretty tight.
Follow the trick discribed below, and it will be easier to finish. Its a very simple trick, but without it, finishing the game is a nightmare :P

Tok is simple puzzle game where your goal is to rotate the various pieces to make paths from the start to multiple ends.
Each level presents you with a group of parts: 90 deg. curves, straight pieces, right angles, t-junctions and four-way splits and it’s up to you to rotate the various pieces to form connected routes. It’s really not much more than that. There is an added complication though, a time limit for each level. You can’t really dawdle as the time limit is quite tight on many levels resulting in the first one or two attempts on some levels being more about planning.

Coloring Game: Pixel
I don’t understand why this is ANOTHER standalone game instead of an expansion. I really enjoy the relaxed nature of the color by numbers stuff, but It’s weird to me to have so many different versions of the same game in my steam library.

It is addictive. The firsts ones are easy. Afterwards, there are more and more pixels to fill (fortunately there is an option to fill large swatches at once. Then pictures get big, and you have to move the window over it.
One warning. If you make a mistake and click on a pixel that was filled with a different color, it goes blank again, and you will have to refill it

Floogen
Its finally here!
Floogen is a fun and charming game with cute handcrafted looking graphics.
The characters and enemies being made out of clay along with the cardboard levels makes it feel like games you played as a kid with your own toys.
The game is sorta hard near the beginning due to your health and stamina being very low. So enemies can kill you fast and you may not be able to roll dodge enough. Although you can upgrade your health, stamina, and moves in the shop! I recommend doing that as soon as possible. It is easy to farm melon pieces into whole melons especially with fishing as that is the fastest way to gain melons to use in the shop.

I’m going to give this a hesitant recommendation.
The style of this game is simply astounding but the gameplay has a hard time keeping up…

Mondrian - Abstraction in Beauty
Recommend! ːthumbsupː
If you are a fan of breakout games you should give this a go.
Mondrian (in my opinion) adds a unique spin and challenges to the genre. There are 3 different game modes (Endless, Gem Hunt, Arcade) to switch things up, as well as 4 difficulty settings, and 3 speeds.
And the options don’t end there. Instead of just swatting the ball around and picking up buffs/debuffs as they drop into a vertical path you spin in a circle and try to collect ‘gems’ as they break free from the shapes you destroy. But don’t forget to keep an eye on your ball or it might be game over.

TLDR: Improper Xox360 pad support. Paddle control problems. Circular arena causes game design issues.
Xbox360 pad was vibrating but inputs not detecting. The ball would sometimes clip through the paddle. The paddle would accelerate drastically after very slow motion for the initial second as if it was some exponential curve. The circular arena means that if your paddle is up your inputs can feel as if they are reversed if you are just twitch reacting because your paddle is upside down. The visual presentation tries to be clean and crisp and minimalistic. But it comes across as barebones, grating with way too much bright white and flat vibrant colors with no texturing for breakable tiles. The audio did not thrill me much either. Game loads slow and the new age quotes were pointless and not appropriate for an arcade title. Removed for declutter.

Squirrel Sphere
The aesthetics and artstyle is really amazing! The controls are smooth and responsive so you’ll have no issues with that. The soundtrack is spot on and fits very well.
Overall a cute and fun game if you’re looking something similar to Super Monkey Ball. There is room for polishing this game for sure but you’ll have no issues playing this game so give it a try!

A Great addition to the marble genre! it has good platforming, minigames unlocked from secrets found in levels, and customizatiion of the “marble”, in this case a squirrel in a glass ball. You can play it fast or slow too, which i enjoy in platformers. Squirreltastic!

Areia: Pathway to Dawn
This is a beautiful light platformer with a touch of a walking simulator. A relaxing and immersive game with a heavy spiritual overtone to it with Hinduistic and Buddhist influences. It reminded me of Ancient Knowledge and other reviewers have mentioned Journey which is on my wishlist.
This is not a walk in the park as you have to work your way through different environments and challenges on your way to enlightenment. That sounds really heavy, but the game is quite light and enjoyable.
Music is lovely with Indian overtones to it, but it did wear thin after a while. I only got half of the achievements despite going back in to hunt for them. Dunno where they were?!

So this is a tough one, while technically I give the game a thumbs up - you might find it not worth your time.
Quick score: music 9/10, graphics 8/10, atmosphere 9/10, gameplay 5/10, story n/a
This is supposed to be a “deep” game to make you think, reflect etc. in this for me it failed - it offers a few “contemplation points” where you sit and get 2 lines of text, this text while apparently supposed to be philosophical is rather non-sensical and does not make me find any deeper meaning in it - despite me being rather open to such ideas. What make this even worse is a rather unsatisfying ending(I am not even sure what its supposed to mean if anything).. it does have a “to be continued” so maybe in an expansion or update we will get more.

Colorzzle
This is a highly addicting and fun puzzle game. I love the colors and the different concepts continuously introduced. However, I blew through the first half of the game in twenty minutes. But it does get more challenging toward the end, for a playtime of 90 minutes. I’d love a sequel consisting of “impossible” style levels. Highly recommend to puzzle game lovers.

Colorzzle is very beautiful and relaxing game with unique color matching mechanism. I would appreciate more levels since the whole game can be finished in an hour. And maybe a bit more difficulty and logic based levels. But overally it offers good value for money and the hour I spent was great. Buy it and support great indie games and developers. Absolute mush have for puzzle game enthusiasts.

DYE
After finishing this game 100% and speedruned a lot of levels, I give my opinion about this game. First of all, you need to love hardcore games otherwise you’ll be frustrated even on the first world. This is a very hard platform 2D game inspired by Super Meat Boy but it has his own identity.
Pros:
-Very accurate gameplay, you have several “power” of jump which allows you to be very accurate. There is a float feature that is very interesting, you can use it to play safer but it’ll make you lose time. That’s up to you to use it or not !

I haven’t experienced Super Meat Boy-style gaming joy like this since… well SMB I guess.
So far (around half way through the first world, and playing hard versions of each level for completion), I would say this matches it (or even surpasses in some ways). One can’t deny it is perched firmly on the shoulder of giants, and I highly doubt it will dissappoint me as I progress through the game. Problem is I have very little time to play, but a couple of hours today with this game has lifted my spirits considerably.
