I’m part-way through, and it’s getting tougher (trying to get par on level 39). So far this game strikes a nice balance of being challenging without being too hard. The par scores make you think about how to be more efficient while making it clear that there are savings to be had. The graphics are fun while being readable so you don’t feel overwhelmed by visual noise.

I’m digging it.

Fun little, sokoban-esque puzzle game.

The level designs are actually very well made, and really bring out the interesting interactions between the different mechanics. Really makes you have to think sometimes, especially when trying to beat the “Pony moves”(Dev highscore)

I definitely recommend this game! The puzzles are super fun and the character is so adorable! I would say it’s roughly 2 to 3 hours of gameplay. Perfect if you’re looking for some relaxing evening puzzle-solving.

Really enjoy this game with my friends! Although the rules are easy, we can always find different strategies to beat each other :) Wish there will be a map editor. Cannot wait to create some maps to share with my friends!

Good party game that is awesome if you can find someone else to play with.

Good:

  • Innovate gameplay.

  • Has AI player so you can play alone.

Bad:

  • Too many loading screens.

  • No V-sync.

  • I don’t want to get a poo when I lose a round.

  • Online match is impossible unless you can find people at right place.

Wish:

  • Level editor with Steam Workshop support.

  • Custom match but you can set multiple levels instead of just one.

A Snake’s Tale

A Snake’s Tale

Casual puzzle game, for the most part too easy but fun, harder level would help because for me this game is just a time killer.

Can’t run in full screen mode and awful music are mos def a minus.

Recommend if you are new to puzzle game genre or just want an easy puzzle game with 2 or 3 tricky levels.

I bought A Snake’s Tale out of multiple yearnings at once:

-Despair for a game where I can finally play as a snake- a diagetically-portrayed one, mind you, not just a sequence of squares chasing dots;

-A good puzzle game;

-A growing liking for smaller-project titles due to my chronic inability to afford any of the AAA games or the hardware to run them;

-An eagerness to support a fellow Austinite, and aspiring game creator.

In each of these, I say A Snake’s Tale delivers.

Turns out this game is a great brain-builder. We learn the rules as we go, and the simple ruleset is used to great versatility.

OCD presents itself very cleanly as a well-made interpretation of the classic sliding-tiles puzzle, the likes of which have remained popular with casual audiences and more hardcore fans alike since the earliest days of Flash animation games. The name becomes ever-more fitting as the levels advance, the challenge rapidly becoming something which requires genuine forethought to successfully overcome; the basic control scheme of using each arrow key to rotate the board ninety degrees left or right at a time masks the many dynamic aspects the game which will be introduced very quickly.

It’s an interesting rotating puzzle game.

You have to fit the tiles in the marked area in the exact orientation, among a few other challenges.

It’s a decent game with 60 or so levels.

Dream of Bells

Dream of Bells

Dream of bells is a puzzle game. All bells in the world fall asleep because of some evil magic. Your goal is to wake them up in a specific order. Essentially you have to make a program for the car, but the program also a part of the puzzle world, some sort of Rube Goldberg machine.

You need to put commands block in the level, so the car can follow instructions and drive through bells in the desired order. Making the car drive through the correct bell wakes up the bell. Command block can be simple like turn right or turn left or conditional: turn right or left if the block on the roof of the car matches with the block in the front right side of the car, the game also has a pickup command block, put down command block, and rainbow block which can update the block on the roof.

I like it very much. This game is awesome. It might be difficult at first. If you play for a while, it will challenge you a lot. Thank you for creating a good puzzle game.

Another tile sliding puzzle with a cat. This one has a sci-fi theme and spacey music. You can only really see it’s a cat on the title screen, otherwise it’s just a small mars rover that goes along the path. It gets a bit tedious towards the end when there is only one tile to spare but that’s pretty standard for tile sliders. Nice for an evening with a puzzle and some bright warm colored mars environments.

Sokoban: Bunny Tales

Sokoban: Bunny Tales

This game is a good game, don’t let the graphics fool you.

It builds on the concept of sokoban quite well, even if many of its puzzles drift away from the main idea of sokoban and become more like a better version of chip’s challenge. Much of ‘those’ stray puzzles are welcomed additions when compared to the variety it already has when focusing only on its more sokoban-like puzzles of pushing objects onto spots.

Being only 200 levels long, it’s rather short when combined with its relative ease, albeit its difficulty does fluctuate. For me, it took only 22 hours to beat all of the levels… This ensures that the game can’t possibly overstate its welcome, if such a thing was possible with its variety.
