Angry Zombies

Angry Zombies

the game left only positive emotions. Hardcore mode makes you sweat a little, and the game also has many levels, and more specifically 30. Sound atmosphere, just chic.

So here is my review on the game.If someone see my account they will know i only play left 4 dead and dont have much time for other games as im a indie dev my self.As a support from one indie to another(i dont know the developer personally but we do meet on the unreal engine forums as the engine connect us all)I decided to try this educational game and see some new horizons that shoudve been seen years ago.

As the front page says, this is a educational game for small kids age 5-12.I dont have any kids but looking at some of the puzzles i loud say 5 to 10/11 years maybe.(coud be wrong as i didnt get too far in to the game).

Kanso

Kanso

How to describe Kanso? Well, you play with your mouse, and you have to draw a line around a shape! Sounds pretty simple right?

This is one of those relaxing, zen like games, where you think everything is all easy and simple, but quickly you realise that things take some skill. This is a “line following” game. Everything is very bright and colourful and really is a joy to play.

As you draw around the shapes, there are “Koi like Daemons”, they kind of look like giant sperms, or perhaps tadpoles, they are on their own little journey, come into contact with them and you will have to start again. As you draw your line, you cannot go backwards, only forwards, but you can speed up or slow down, or even stop, that will allow you to avoid the Daemons, and finish the shape. As you progress through the levels, the shapes become more interesting and there are more Daemons to avoid, some will try to follow you, some will avoid you, some do not care about you. But you must always care about all of them if you want to progress.

Towards the Sky

Towards the Sky

okay so you probably already have some of these in mind.

It’s a great base.. it could just do with some. upgrades so to say.

What I’d like to see added as a player:

Skill tree - this will add more goals to the game rather than just get to the top, also get all the skills.

boost mechanic - so kinda like in rocket league.. you get a certain amount of boost and you can use it as like a jetpack, this would be a good substitute for the double jump because it would make gameplay way smoother imo.

Make it really difficult: maybe a platform you cannot stand on or you get teleported back to the start ( or like a checkpoint for in the future )

// !! This is with all graphics settings maxed out. The game gets a degree worse every step down from max texture settings. !! Graphics are fine, nothing to write home about. Identical models are repeated throughout in a small space, greenery has no texture and the sausages are grey. The rubber flooring develops a DDPAT pattern at night when the reflections bounce off it. Vehicle Interiors are generally fine although resolution has been lost due to optimisation, just dont scroll in and you’ll barely notice it although in the LF24 the interior is just messed up. Exteriors can be fixed with workshop skins although out of the box, they are forgivable. Not many cars on the roads, none drive by the fire station probably so that AI collisions or detrimental interactions dont happen during a callout. If you turn up your ped count, the traffic mimics more of a small town rather than a large city like Mulheim and same can be said with car traffic. Variety for both cars and characters are rather limited as for the latter, full characters are generated rather than pieced together randomly and the former, there just isnt enough colours to make it liveable. //

I am someone who enjoys firefighting games a lot so I really want to like this game, here is my review of it:

This game should not have been released in this state. However I do think it is playable.

Bugs, there are a lot of them, from mirrors that completely obliterate performance to non functioning equipment (all essential equipment works).

Content, there seems to be very little. From what I have been able to translate (more on that later) they planned on releasing more calls/incidents in the days/weeks after release.

MY 1980’s DASHBOARD

MY 1980’s DASHBOARD

I like these kinds of racing games, they’re really fun and not many people are making them, so it’s cool to see someone is supporting this genre. Overall it controls well and it looks good, there’s only a few little complaints I have with it. For the aesthetics, when you’re playing in classic mode the speedometer isn’t pixelated, the font isn’t very good looking, and I think the background is always a snowy mountain and pine trees regardless of what level you’re on. For the gameplay there’s not much to change, drifting would be great addition because slowing down to go around a sharp turn is really unsatisfying, that’s really it. The music is empty sounding and none of the songs made me exited to drive. I think I heard all the songs, tracks don’t seem to have their own music, it just picks a random song from a little library, if I’m wrong then maybe the songs sound really similar.

This game is a throwback to the racing games of the 1980’s (hence the name).

There’s no fancy graphics, no relistic handling, no gears to worry about, just straight out race to complete each stage before the time runs out.

There are a handful of pleasant chip style tunes and sound FX, both of which can be toggled off if desired.

Control is by keyboard, or use a utility such as Xpadder to map the controls to your control stick/pad of choice.

The game is very easy to play and FUN. Good for a quick game when you have a few minutes or even an hour or two, trying to beat each stage.
