Teenage Blob: Paperperson - The First Single
This is the best version of “Paper boy” that i have ever played, please make this a full game, not just a mini game! The music is great but the other 5 games don’t match the quality of this one, and i feel like i’m not alone in saying so, the concept is great but i would have really loved if all the games were NES remakes like this one.

Well… it’s a “split release” featuring 6 songs & 6 minigames (with the demo version featuring just one song and one minigame, which is a Paperboy clone).
This immediately hit a nerve - you see I have an almost pathological obsession with playing various versions of Paperboy, ever since the Amstrad CPC home-micro version was (sadly) lacking any sort of in-game sound. (yeah, it’s an emotional scar from my teenage years, what can I say).
This particular mini game is pretty nice - but there’s just one problem: There are times when the perspective changes from the classic isometric view, to a side-view (resembling Kikstart, somewhat). However, this switch (which follows the song’s rhythm) can occur in completely inappropriate times (for example, at the moment you line up your newspaper shot) and when your view suddenly switches back, you can miss your shot or crash into an obstacle, etc.

Super Plexis
Disclaimer: I got this game for free, for being a part of the community Discord during their giveaway. I am very invested in this and similar game’s success, as I like this kind of game a whole lot. However, not getting paid or anything, as I’m some nobody.
If you ever owned an SNES, you may remember Tetris Attack: a game about matching 3 or more blocks in a vertical or horizontal line, and/or chaining matches of blocks one right after another.
If you ever owned an N64, you may remember Pokemon Puzzle League, a game similar to the above.

tldr: great game, cool devs, great community around it, beginners beware.
Tip: while searching for a match you can go back to title screen and enter training mode while staying in the match queue!
Sidenote: Instead of wishlisting you could also buy now and wait for the mentioned features, as the price will increase with content updates.
Longer version:
You might remember games like Tetris Attack or Pokémon Puzzle League, Super Plexis is basically that but with good online capability and cool customizable difficulty in custom games. There are some small gameplay tweaks which make the game feel slightly different and a lot of good content is still in the works, hence Early Access.

Moonsters
Very fun little retro-modern mashup game
Pretty nice game with the feel of my favorite Pokemon game but with an updated and modernized look! The monsters are all unique and quirky in their own ways and so are their movesets. The Moondex is unlocked from the start of the game so you can see all the monster designs and they remind me of some of my favorite characters that I used to watch growing up! If you liked the original Pokemon games growing up, you should definitely try this game.

Blewie
Very satisfying and challenging puzzle game that will keep you thinking outside the box. Simple rules with brilliant execution. Plenty of content with over 100 stages, boss battles, and unlockable bonus mini games and powerups. An ultimate (and maybe a little sadistic ;-P ) 8-bit brain teaser with some epic tunes. I just cleared it all, can you?

I usually review weird hentai games so when my curator friend asked me if I wanted to try BLEWIE and the FUN HOUSE let’s just say I found those words misleading. In reality, it reminds me of some games I’ve played on very old computers with green screen monitors. I really miss one where you’re an ant trying to escape a level having to dodge what looked like wasp heads chasing you. You could drop boulders on them or shoot them. Can’t remember the name though. Anyway, this game is kinda like that but in color and the music is really good.

Retro Classix: Two Crude
Another great retro Beat ‘em up game to kill some time! Frustrating at times, but the action is superb.
Boo-yah!!

Reminds me of the 90s big time. I remember seeing the Sega Genesis version and I wanted to try this game out since I heard the Arcade version is superior but I can tell you the hit boxes on the enemies are rough and it can be completed in 30 minutes. Its fun at first but the bosses hit boxes are terrible.

Canvas Hockey
After 30+hrs now and beating the career mode I can say without a doubt this is a must-buy for any pc hockey fan, and a super satisfying gaming experience. Winning the cup was akin to the feeling of accomplishment in recent gaming memory of beating a Hades boss for the first time.
Super responsive dev as well, had a couple quality of life requests as well as the below AI complaint (which I’ll leave in for context) and I got a response and a week later updated with exactly what I asked for as well as a new mode which adds some replay-ability after the campaign, seems like it will only continue to get better (Would 100% purchase a canvas hockey 2, maybe with 5-on-5 play)

As an AVID player of NHL 94 on my Super Nintendo its nice to finally have something similar on PC.
A combination of smooth and fun gameplay and a creative design this title stands out among the indie sports games available on Steam.
I can see myself constantly playing this game for the foreseeable future and highly recommend anyone who is looking for a fun hockey game to pick this up.
Can’t wait to see what the developer adds in the coming updates to enhance the game!

Zyconix
Not a help screen in sight. I couldn’t get it to recognize my controller. And honestly, in my opinion, just slamming on a DosBox was not the way to drag this into the modern day. I’m having it refunded and I suggest you steer clear as well.
