One Lonely Outpost
A barren, alien world needs YOU to bring it to life!
Start out with just an ancient space-RV, your handy tech gauntlet, a handful of potato seeds, and work to build up your colony. Grow crops to attract colonists, build a town and economy, and work to achieve independence while establishing your colony as a prime destination.
Whether you opt for an all-natural farm or a more high-tech one, you’ll need to balance producing food with other activities on your planet. Explore alien ruins to learn more about this strange world, grow your relationships with the many different characters that will join your colony, and have a blast playing various mini-game activities along the way.
It’s One Lonely Outpost … but not for long!
Decide: Natural or Synthetic?
Order up some supplies from Delivz-On, fertilize the ground, and plant crops with a unique tending mechanic – blow off dust, clip off dead branches, and watch for bugs! Pursue either a Synthetic route with robo-cows and gene-splicing (watch for glowing cabbages), or take the Natural path where you raise Earth-based farm animals and hand-tend your prize crops for premium produce. With either path, the more and better food you can make, the more colonists you can attract.
Build a Community and Forge Relationships
Every colony starts out with just one person (and a robotic pet), but colonists from around the galaxy will come to conduct research and offer other roles or services to help you grow the colony into a full-fledged town. But our career isn’t everything in life – befriend your fellow colonists to find fully developed people with their own histories, lives, and dreams. Grow your rapport with more than just gifts from your farm; perhaps even one relationship will result in true romance!
Explore Ancient Ruins
Ancient alien ruins have kept their secrets for millennia – until you’ve come along. Discover why a barren world is full of all of the features necessary for life, even though according to top scientists it shouldn’t. Puzzle and/or fight your way past the robotic guardians and be rewarded with rare items and a deeper understanding of your new farm planet.
Customize Your Character
Develop a unique sense of style and personality with clothing options and character statistics.. Choose how to balance your strengths and weaknesses across farming, exploring, crafting, socializing, and dungeon-diving as you progress on your journey.
Play To Your Interests
There’s no set path to perfecting your colony. Any element of the game can be played in any order. Whether you choose to focus on tending your farm to unlock every perk, spend all day exploring ruins fighting robots, or dedicate yourself to building up the town and connecting with residents, fun and rewards await to be discovered along the way.
Share With Friends
Play online with up to 3 other friends in collaborative co-op as well as competitive minigames. Friends can either visit your existing outpost with a greenhorn character, choose to start a fresh world from scratch together, or take a short vacation on your main to see what other colonies are up to, all while developing new relationships and even building branching families with other player characters or NPCs.

Per Aspera
It’s rare for a city builder / logistics game to have a good story, but this one sure does. Through monologue and dialogue options we follow the self-discovery and existential ruminations of the player character, an AI tasked with terraforming Mars. The planet visuals are beautiful. It’s incredible to zoom in and look at the contoured terrain and watch it change as it fills in with water and plant life.
Gameplay is less elaborate than most city builders and the logistics are not even close to the level of complexity of something like a Factorio style game. Managing the interconnected temperature and atmospheric composition is interesting. The end result is a casual, relaxing builder with a memorable story.

===SUMMARY===
This is my favorite game of 2021. I like simulation games as a group, and this is a beautiful installment of this growing genera. I love what simulations teach me, being spoon fed facts off a list. I love that (having played Per Aspera) I know the landscape of Mars better. I know some of the names, sure, but grokking the SCALE, the oddness, sparking my curiosity about Noctis Labyrinthus, just from working on the planet is priceless. I became familiar with Mars in a way that Surviving Mars never did (though I played that a lot too).

REVIEW AND GUIDE
This review will basically criticize bad reviews of this game and hopefully provide insight for those seeking it. I am not affiliated with this game.
I’m thoroughly enjoying this game. It looks to have good replayability. Like every other builder I’ve played once you have built everything there is not as much to do except to keep it going. In other games, for me building up is the most fun and the building-up part of this game is a blast. It is challenging(!) and keeps me on the edge of my seat. I checked guides before playing, but still had things to learn.

In short:
You can barely interact with anything. There is not enough content. Haven’t noticed any update. The game is way too simple. Once you complete the initial tutorial the game has nothing more to offer.
How do I spend most of the game time?
-
The speed of the game is almost always at maximum, yet still have the bored feeling of having to wait for way too long (half an hour?!) for anything to happen.
-
Turning on or off structures to reduce electricity usage.
-
I can even ignore emergencies as I can’t really interact with them and a redundantly built base just survives anything.

Space Haven
i enjoy the game very much, nice, relaxing, do your own thing, the adventure is what you make it,
you can take your time, save the game any where during play, come back where you left off and
pick up the adventure again.
what i like most, is if something turns out wrong, you can change, rearrange, move and make it just right for you.
take the time to go over the settings, make your doctor, pick your salvage crew, who is going to tend to the plants,
move stuff around, who will be your boarding party, i have watched games where people get up set because a major portion of the crew stands around and does nothing, well it is because no one’s task has been set.

It’s a more relaxed, less mechanistically picky resource management game than the likes of Oxygen Not Included, which works great for me. It doesn’t go far from where it starts, though, and leaves me wishing it had more narrative elements, which is fine for early access since I feel the underlying mechanics are superb and lay a great foundation for what will hopefully become a more well-rounded game.

Surviving Mars
A new developer took over in September 2021 and they have trashed the game with bugs; just the base game, I’m not even talking about the disastrous expansion (85% negative reviews!!). 2 months and 4 ‘hot’ fixes later and the game is still so broken that I would prefer a rollback over anything the new developers have done, if only such an option were available.
They have started working on ‘content packs’ now.
I was in the middle of a game, trying for some outstanding achievements when the mandatory updates applied. I would remove this negative review if I had a way to roll back to the previous version.

Abstraction Games is ruining this game. It is my favorite game - even now. Yet, as time progresses, Abstraction keeps introducing more and more bugs into this game - at least for the Linux version. They also seem to just add more features that don’t really contribute to the overall experience.
If Steam would let me roll back to the pre-March 2021 release, I would.

Outer Space Shack
Plan your space program, and send your precious rockets to the Moon or Mars. Build a small space base at first, and ensure the well-being of your astronauts. Feed them, protect them from hazards and radiations, and keep them happy.
Progressively, use more and more local resources, and make your settlement sustainable.
NEW Kickstarter campaign has started.
Space Center
Prepare your ‘rocket’ missions in the space center. Optimize every kilogram of payload of your precious rockets, and launch engineering projects to improve your rockets and the base hardware.
Base Building
Plan an efficient layout for your base, and increase its capabilities through new buildings and machineries. Start doing all the heavy work with a few rovers, and when ready, make your first astronauts come. Grow from an uncomfortable shack to a small village. Develop businesses on your base to make it sustainable
Astronauts
Feed your astronauts, ensure they have proper living space, protect them against hazards of space: radiation, space dust. Make sure they stay sane in the complex environment
Exodus H
As it stands this is not a game, maybe you’d call it a foundational engine for one. The videos are misleading, all the demonstrated functionality seems to be missing or at the very least fundamentally broken. I reported a bug that was fixed and patched in a few hours though, so there is hope I might have cause to change my review later. I considered getting a refund really as it seems that no one is actively testing the game before releasing, but that last patch made me choose not to. I might regret that choice later if there is not enough patches and improvements in the next couple of weeks.

Fractal Evolution
Fractal Evolution is a 2D space exploration RPG with life simulation elements inspired by Conway’s Game of Life.
You will explore a universe, fight monsters, and complete quests, with the ultimate goal of returning life to the universe in the form of single-celled creatures called Fractals. Each planet begins with just two unique fractals that breed with each other, and ultimately spawn a network of creatures competing for resources and constantly evolving. Study the evolution of these creatures and eventually gain items that allow you to engineer their genome. Every universe is unique, and runs on a non-deterministic simulation that follows two simple equations. One for physics, and the other for biology.
