Grim Nights 2
the game is good & i love it but its pretty buggy right now but alot of fixes have happen in 1 week with only 1 developer doing it so he deserves a lot of credit & support so join his discord by going to the discussion thing & most of you probably dont know where thats located so all i will say is look carefully & you might just see it by clicking on the game but not play it yet. the developer he needs to make changes like making the visitors spawn more often because im sick of being stuck with a low amount of villagers & i hope the max amount of villager is high enough to my likeing & that zombies & bandits go though some changes like spawning more often & being a bit harder after a while & there need to be more food in game & better stuff to refill energy faster & better & much more

Grim Nights 2 expands upon the original title with new occupations, resources, art and music. The focus has now shifted towards colony management. After picking your preferred location and biome (currently only 2 available) in a randomized world, you assemble four members to start your new settlement. Their perks and initial stats, which are determined by culture and background, will be instrumental in time and resource management - so pick wisely. You can later hone your settlers' skills, change their primary and secondary occupation and assign them items. They will require rest and food individually, so make sure you build them safe beds and grow and prepare enough grub.

Kingdom: Classic
This game is simple, but addicting. I wasn’t sure it will last me for more than few hours, and I usually don’t approach games thinking that I’ll stay up all night playing, but I got lucky here. This game is all about management and choices. It’ll start innocent, but quickly becomes pure evil the more you hold on.
Gameplay
You control most of the things indirectly. You’ll start small, and you’ll make a lot of mistakes while trying to get bigger. I can’t promise you that you’ll get hooked the same way I did, but after having few tries on my own, I’ve started seeing the game differently. It is based around trying it over and over, and I didn’t get sick of it. Despite what I’ve heard, every part, even the beginning, becomes an endurance run. Since you have to control everything, you can’t stop.

So, after over 40 hours spent playing the game I felt it’s time to finally write a review.
First of all, I really enjoy this game tremendously, but I’d say it’s not for everyone. If you read other reviews, you probably have a good idea what the good part of the game is, nice art, awesome soundtrack (first time I ever bought a game OST, and not regretting it one bit). These are the two things I think everyone can agree about.
Then it gets more tricky. The gameplay isn’t for everyone. It’s literally discover everything for yourself. including how your own guys behave, even how your own horse behaves.

Castle Formers
You can tell this was a game created to be enjoyed by gamers. A lot of love here.

This is a cute and fun little game, worth buying to support independent game producers, but . . . A wee bit more of a tutorial would be helpful. There are whole upper floors of my castle filled with people that I have absolutely no clue what they do apart from take my hard earned gold. D__n it I smashed a lot of pots and picked the locks of dozens of treasure chests that some benevolent person randomly leaves out on the lawn to get that gold. Not to mention the kindly watersprite that lives in the well who also donates generously to the cause. For their sake, if not for mine, kindly tell me what the devil these random strangers are doing in my castle!

Odd Realm
It’s literally just Dwarf Fortress with some key differences.
Good:
-Visually simplistic but you can generally tell what everything is without manually checking
-Intuitive controls with manual settings and priority for jobs/production
-Clean UI that doesn’t eat 40% of the screen and even condenses itself down into toggles when not in use
-Manual speed control and fairly well optimized instead of Dwarf Fortress' legendary jank
-Seasonal system similar to Rimworld, with random events akin to Dwarf Fortress

definitely needs more time in the oven, but extremely promising and maybe the first game i’ve seen to come even slightly close to the feeling of dwarf fortress without being completely horrible to learn, although it’s sure not close enough yet. if you want that kind of thing watch this space and buy it preemptively if you’ve got the money.
PROS:
genuinely fun and quick to build in - i had a little village under construction in like two minutes and the little guys were mobile enough that i didn’t have to fumble around making scaffolds or whatever, although i probably would have if i’d gone more ambitious

Rise to Ruins
Well I’ve just about hit 450 hours, and so far I have to say I’m enjoying this. Overall its a decent little balance of Tower Defense, City Builder, and Survival Sim. Don’t be fooled by the basic bitpixel appearance, This is a relatively intuitive game with a lot of sprites, particle effects , and pathfinding(literally). The Dev has been pretty active on the forums and in discussion and seems genuinely invested in the success of his game, and in this day and age that alone speaks volumes.

_space_train
Welcome to _space_train!
In the not-so-far-distant future, humankind rolls through the stars atop the great, gleaming white tracks of a new age of trains. Trains, in space. _space_train is an online multiplayer social experience, as you work together with others and against antagonists to keep the engines of progress ticking over as they deliver you from station to station. Embark as a simple passenger or take a longer-term role as a member of staff in an asymmetric gaming experience like no other.
Inclement
How did I not review this game? Basically… for me… its a low tech city builder. Well, city is the wrong word. You have limited space, limited income, so you better plan accordingly. While the game isn’t severely complex it does take serious though into making the best decisions you can.
The game is worth the price and is best enjoyed with the tv or youtube going on in the background. I chose seinfeld.

Details
Inclement is a very addicting little farm management game with its very special style. Its graphics and especially its font take getting used to and the controls and menues are a bit fiddly, but after a few minutes of gameplay it is quiet fun. Its a great game to play while doing something else – not requiring your full attention. For the most part you are waiting for resources to be gathered in order to upgrade your farm so you can gather more resources. Still its a lot of fun to see your farm grow and to progress through the different aspects of the game.

Kingdom Two Crowns
I do not have the capacity to explain it in detail at this time, but the quick takeaway is I cannot recommend this game. Good concept, but having to fight glitches/bugs and the occasional bit of anti-player design ruins the experience and makes it drag into terribleness. If you have hearing issues, please be advised that there are key cues that are audio-based without any caption options. If you are colorblind, you will find the visual design even more challenging/impossible and again, there are no accessibility options. Considering that settings rarely stick between game loads, I’m not even sure that adding them would even fix anything. Also, adding new achievements at a later time and locking them behind a paid DLC is not great. In any case, sorry, but I would advise avoiding.

Short version:
- Basically tower defense done at its best.
Long version:
-
During the day you explore the current island (yes, there are several).
-
Build up your defenses in the form of recruiting peasants for your army and build walls/towers.
-
Survive the night when the Greed come (a well named enemy that steels your coins).
-
Unlock new building/peasant tech and rid-able mounts on the current island.
-
Build a ship.
-
Move to the next Island.
-
Repeat former steps until strong enough to return to the first Island.

Paleon
While the game is still in pre-alpha it is very promising, the dev rolls out updates that patch bugs and add functionalities pretty often and he listens to his community and participates in the discussions. The game kinda hooks you, for now it’s not very long but it is really cool and for the price it’s very worth it to spend some hours managing your colony.
It has had bugs in the past, but right now, the update 1.3.4b is very solid and I have not had a single crash or game-breaking bug. As I said, the dev is quick fixing them.

Quite an interesting game, for this stage. One of those typical “I want to research everything at once”-tech trees, which allows for many different paths to develop technology. It reminds me of the Settlers games, but without all the fancier-than-necessary graphics.
On the other hand, it’s also clear there’s a lot of room for improvement, like when it comes to instruction, explanation, and some QOL in the mouse button interactions. To quote Yahtzee Croshaw, “This is a game in which there is officially no shame in looking up the FAQ. A tutorial wouldn’t go amiss.”
